During a recent early morning flight, I visited a Nature's Table in hunt of a light and healthy breakfast. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean breakfast burrito with eggs, feta, tomatoes and spinach. It was flavorful, wrapped well and just what I needed. The staff was efficient and down to business. This is the obvious choice if you want something healthy and quick in the Indy airport pre-security area. The menu has a pretty good selection of wraps/sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and acai bowls, and even desserts (nothing particularly healthy-looking about the desserts though). There's a small vegan section of the menu that I didn't even notice until after I ordered. They have the breakfast menu until 10:30, and I came at 10:26 and was still able to order off it. I got a Mediterranean burrito, which included scrambled eggs, spinach, olives, and roasted peppers and onions. It was a pretty good wrap. I have no complaints other than the price being high for the size of the wrap, but that's airport prices and this wasn't particularly exorbitant. It was the right size for a light meal after a flight, since I wasn't super hungry. The staff were friendly and the wait time for my order wasn't bad. I'd stop here again. read more

I've had this place one other time before and I think they've expanded their menu since then. Whenever we are able to get food at the airport I co to the healthier option which is at Nature's Table. I'm glad there's a healthy food choice at the airport. I ordered the Latin citrus protein bowl and it was completely delicious. It has a spicy kick to it. I think I inhaled the whole bowl in 5 min! This was actually so dang good. I was surprised. I would normally just go straight to Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds. Chick-Fil-A didn't have wraps and I wanted something healthy so decided to give this place a go. It was actually so tasty! It was filling and the chicken wasn't dry. It's really difficult to find fresh, low-calorie food in the airport, but fortunately, you can find it at Nature's Table! For people like me who are tracking calories and macros, they provide a little electronic kiosk with the breakdown of all of their food. I chose the California Club sandwich, which came with a choice of white or wheat bread, chunks of turkey, avocado, turkey bacon, romain lettuce and tomato. Mustard and mayo is automatically NOT included unless you specify that you want some, so tell them if you do. My sandwich was delicious, huge and filling. I probably could have been satisfied with just one half. The people who work here are great. They are very attentive, friendly and fast -- a refreshing change of pace from some of the other eating establishments at the airport. read more

I wanted something on the lighter side, and natures table was one of the only places where all the menu items weren't fried. I was happy when I saw on the menu that they served açaí bowls (although surprised at how small it was)! There were two people working while I was there. One of them was on it and knew what she was doing the other one wasn't quite as confident. However they helped each other out and they were quick and friendly. They double checked my order to make sure they had it right before serving me. The bowl was delicious, although the bananas were a little brown. It would be nicer if they cut the bananas fresh as they are being ordered. Other than that the food was great! I thought it was a little pricey for such a small serving, but in the end worth it compared to my other options at the airport. Beggars can't be choosers! read more

Unfortunately this tile the store was closed, but when I was flying out of IND Nature's Table at IND provided me with a delicious 32oz. cup of a blueberry smoothie. I highly advise to wait for the smoothie to warm up, as otherwise you will freeze your brain :) read more

Begging for tips?! What a disgrace to the service industry community! I was looking for a quick pick me up before my flight, so a smoothie sounded like a solid choice. I was greeted by a disgruntled employee, but hey it happens no big deal. As I waited for my smoothie, an older lady with a heavy accent (possibly the owner or manager) came out of the back and said "No tip? No dollar, no nothing?" Then rolled her eyes. THEN went into the register, pulled out a dollar and put it into the tip bucket. RUDE! I have NEVER been treated that way. How offensive and obscene can you possibly be? Just to be clear, I have worked in hospitality for 20+ years and understand the importance of tipping, but under NO circumstance should a guest be treated the way I was. The gentlemen behind the counter told me she does that to increase her tips especially when it's slow. My response was "if you are looking for a tip, that is probably not the best way to go about it." What a horrible way to end my vacation. read more

Not a bad little spot for airport dining, esp. if you want some healthier fare. I opted for the Carnitas Bowl (Tender Marinated Carnitas, Baby Kale, Spinach, Red Quinoa, Brown Rice, Black Beans, House Made Corn Salsa, California Avocado, Salsa and Sour Cream). While I was waiting for my bowl to be prepped, a guy standing next to me was raving about my selection. He works at the airport and said he loved this bowl and often orders it. My take on it was that the ingredients were good and everything tasted pretty fresh. The flavor punch wasn't off the charts but I guess that usually equates to more calories via sauces and such so it is not a huge complaint. After a vacay and lots of unhealthy eating, this was a nice transition back to smarter dining choices for me. This location is located in the food/shopping court before you get to security so you can grab a bite here regardless of the gate you are heading to. Seating is out in the court - there is no seating inside the venue itself. Not a big deal at all unless it's super busy at the airport, which it was not when we were there. read more

So nice to have a healthy option at an airport! I read about this place on Yelp and it truly lived up to the reviews! I had the small oatmeal and regular Yogurt Spinach-Kale smoothie for breakfast. It was delicious. The small oatmeal is perfect sized to pair with a smoothie. They offered me toppings of brown sugar, toasted almonds, and raisins and were kind enough to package them as photographed. I was a bit skeptical to order yogurt instead of juice in my Kale-Spinach smoothie as sometimes it comes out bitter. But I was surprised by the great combination of flavors and tartness. The mango and pineapple cut through the bitterness really well. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. read more

Really sucks cuz I can tell the food is normally great. I suspect they scraped the brown off the top of the avocado pan and into my wrap because I asked for no dairy. Allow my counter point...I had the Asian "Chicken" salad. It looked pathetic. I was in a hurry, so no time to send back better prep job. Anyway, I put chicken in quotations because the what I had was not chicken. It was white. It had brown marks to imitate grill marks. The texture was part tofu, part tootsie roll. It had zero taste. The few sprinkles of almonds were interspersed with tomatoes. Yes, tomatoes. Now I'd never had tomatoes on an Asian salad, so thought this odd. I thought they were supposed to be red peppers. I checked the menu as I headed to my gate and sure enough, they were SUPPOSED to be peppers. I guess they thought if your tastes buds weren't already dull, you'd never notice. Finally, the special Asian dressing...it's vinegarette. Red vinegarette. So, stay away. Wouldn't recommend. At least it the salads. But if they screwed this up, it a fair assumption they screw up the entire menu. Oh, don't be fooled by the smells. They are coming from the Mexican place next door. read more

It's 5:30 AM and I'm looking for cleanish protein. Already did the Chick-fil-a dance in the past and McDonalds is passed me at this milestone in life I like to call 'making up for bad decisions when younger' with the exception that McD's has comparatively great coffee. Anyway. The employees were off the mark when it came to my needs in procuring a meal with the highest protein : calorie ratio. Breakfast bowl: I was recommended the breakfast bowl when in fact I should have been recommended the breakfast sandwich. Okay, so they missed the mark by 40 calories and .8 grams of protein (according to their online nutrition facts). My mental fortitude will not suffer all that much. Mistakes are made. We are in the Bible Belt and God forgives. GOD IS COMING, so a sign in on the highway says. Noteworthy is that the breakfast bowl has 1245.9 mgs of sodium. Holy bloats, Batman (not to mention the armory of plastic I was sent away with). Chicken salad on whole wheat: This is where Nature's Table crossed the unholy threshold of protein sins. I was recommended the chicken salad sandwich by not one employee, but two when in fact the the oven roasted turkey sandwich has 23 calories fewer than the chicken salad IN ADDITION to having 7.2 more grams of protein. To be fair though, the sodium in the chicken salad sandwich was only a mere 366 mg compared to the turkey's 1051.8 mg. So I like to think that the employees were in on it; they felt so bad about my breakfast bowl with extra salt that they decided to tell a white lie in order to save me from the double bloats. At least now I can still retain a modicum of dignity and muscle definition, for things could have been worse- or saltier. The TSA will just have to imagine how much better I would have looked when viewing my less-than-perfect body through their millimeter wave scanner. read more

Their chicken and turkey are actual pieces of meat rather than your typical deli style chicken or turkey. The prices are decent as well.
