I ordered the pork tips because I didn't want bread. The tips are flavorful but you have to be willing to eat around the fat and bones. I loved the tips with the North Carolina mustard sauce. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. There was a lot of meat on the sandwich and the roll was fresh. The bbq sauces are phenomenal. My husband loved the spicy hot sauce. The restaurant is decorated in western bbq theme. The tables are clean and stocked with sauces and paper towels. There are also a couple picnic tables outside if you want to eat with your dog. The restroom is clean. I highly recommend, and I'll be back.

We had such a lovely afternoon and I highly recommend others from Indy doing the same! I'm not sure if they have any designated parking nearby since they're "downtown" Greencastle, so we parked around the corner on street and walked over. We were seated right away in a roomy booth, that could easily fit 6, across from the bar and promptly ordered mimosas and waters to get our brunch started. I chose a classic orange juice mimosa and my husband got a cranberry mimosa. They were a great size, the amount that I would pour at home, and were tasty. For breakfast, I decided on the sweet cream pancakes and chose over easy eggs and bacon. They had blueberry or strawberry jam options for the toast, so I chose blueberry. Our server asked if I liked my bacon on the crispier side and I said yes, so she said she would ask for it to be cooked longer. When I say that these were the best pancakes I have ever had, these were the best pancakes I have ever had! My husband had a couple of bites of them and was surprised at how good they were, just being pancakes and not expecting much. Usually, when I get pancakes at a breakfast spot they come out too thick/rubbery or too dry/bland. These were a nice, medium texture without being too big or way too thin and they were moist, flavorful, and sweet. 10/10 and would order them again when we go back. The blueberry jam was tasty, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was cooked crispy like I had wanted. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, also with over easy eggs, and a side of country potatoes. He chose the strawberry jam for his toast. We each had a couple bites of the other's dish to try them out and we both loved how savory the rosemary gravy was. His eggs were also cooked perfectly and the country potatoes were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The only minor slip up during our visit was that they forgot to bring out the side of potatoes at first, but otherwise a wonderful dining experience. We were reading the other handful of reviews on Yelp after we ordered since I already had the app open to look at photos of different dishes to help us decide what to get and we were very confused about the bad review claiming all of the food was highly processed and not fresh. All of our food was made to order, hot, and made with fresh ingredients. Can't wait to come back again soon!

She figured I'd want my favorite--the big slab of meatloaf with Texas toast. Nope...no meatloaf...not this time. Her timing was perfect as I've seen advertised and heard from reliable sources about the famous "Big Al" from Pappy's. I made my request. She immediately agreed that it had to be tried. The Big Al isn't just a heaping mound of pork. It's a heaping mound of pork on Texas toast with just the right ratio of a sweeter sauce and.....here it comes....a big clump of Mac and cheese!!! It was like a modern day Dagwood with pork, Mac and cheese and sauce. WOW!! I have a sweet tooth. I like a bit of salty with the sweetness. But the creamy Mac and cheese with the perfectly chewy (al dente?) pasta made this sandwich a hit. The sandwich, along with their perfectly crisped French fries were a great combo. It was a HUGE portion and definitely required some to be held back for leftover lunch. Here's what makes the sandwich even better: this was designed by a local teen and his wishes were for some of the profits from the sandwich to go back towards a worthy organization. Well, "mayonnaise" wasn't on the sandwich, nor on the menu. "Dijonaise" and aioli were on both, however. All Lindsey and company had to do, which is all that anyone has to do at any business establishment, was go to the counter and ask for either a refund or a custom modification to the sandwich. And yeah... reading the menu--written in big letters and hanging on the wall--helps too. As someone who doesn't have to drive "about 40 minutes" to go to the Bodega, I'm super thankful that it's here. It's a blessing for those of us who have been thankful for ALL the businesses who have brought a new bit of life to our community. At the end of the day, people like Lindsey should be taken with the half-grain of salt they're worth. She wants you to think that the folks at the Bodega went out of their way to ruin her day. What we actually think is that she opted to announce to everyone on Yelp that she's petty and selfish. She didn't bother to read the menu, didn't ask questions, and didn't take her grievances to the store. Instead, she fired off her editorial opus and punched "one-star" because, in her world, if she's inconvenienced or made angry, then something has to burned to the ground. The Bodega is wonderful. Five-stars. People such as Lindsey are why Yelp can be awful.
