BTW, mgr was clearly from a culture that did not acknowledge a woman's place in the public square. Too bad we never got the info we needed to see if they could do our job.

They also did laminate throughout the house. It came out beautifully. I had custom tile floors edged with wood in my kitchen. The design was to be laid sideways and the installer decided it wouldnt look right and did it straight. I was available via phone during the install and the installer never asked me or said a word. Wood work was completed that day; however, when i got home i texted sammy and he quickly coordinated another time for the installers 2 come back and fix it. If I had questions or issurs.. Sammy was almost always responsive in a flash. The baseboard and carpet installers were wonderful. Angel was my shower and floor tile installer and he was magnificent. I gave 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 out of 5 stars only because of the stain used on the custom floor in my kitchen. It was my design and I asked the installer if he could match the wood stain 2 the laminate thru the rest of my house. He said it couldn't be done as one was wood and one was laminate and encouraged me to just choose a color I liked. All the while during our conversation, he kept looking back and forth on his cell phone. I mentioned to Sammy and felt he sort of brushed it off... even when the baseboard fellow called 2 tell him it wasn't to my full liking. I had already paid the full service amount and since the whole house remodel took so long, I let it go and refinished the wood in my kitchen myself. I had wood flooring in the den and bedroom (20 years old) so we selected a product that closely matched the existing wood. Took about a week to get the product in from the manufacturer. Doug called about three days before scheduled installment date and wanted to drop the wood off so that it could get acclimated to the house ( wood expands and contracts based on the humidity etc of the house). They have been in business for 30+ years so they know about the products. The two installers showed up on time, moved the large furniture and began removing the existing carpet. These two brothers are great. My fireplace has a rounded brick hearth that required cutting the brick so that the wood could be placed under the hearth instead of trying to cover it with 1/4 round wood. Now it looks like the fireplace was built on top of the wood floor. Total job took about four days. No way it could have been completed in less time. If a large franchise company says they can do it in one day. Don't believe them. It takes 24 hours for the glue to dry, so be ware. Recommend Carpet Connection without hesitation. These people are great.

My husband and I decided on the carpet. We called Steve & he came to our home to take measurements...and about two weeks later our carpet was installed. I am incredibly happy with the thorough, professional and excellent job done by the two carpet installers. they took very good care of the few pieces of furniture that I needed their help moving. They worked straight through, no breaks and finished in about 4-5 hours. They cleaned up, they vacuumed the area and made sure I looked at their work it before they left. The price we paid was very reasonable. It included taking the old carpet with them as well. Every person that I've encountered at the store is very kind, polite and professional. My only critique is I called the store on a Sunday to find out if our carpet had arrived, for installation on Wednesday. The person I spoke to said they would call me back on Monday to confirm. I did not get a call back. So I called on Tuesday to confirm that the carpet would be coming on Wednesday. The reason I wanted to confirm is it's a lot of prep work moving clothes out of closets, furniture and all of our stuff out of the way. And if for some reason the carpet was delayed that would help me with planning. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to this store for future needs. Roy responded quickly and provided an estimate the next day. Within a couple of days, I had scheduled the installation with Luis - the installation manager. Luis came by a few days later to verify the measurements & remove the existing drawer "faces". He then built the new drawers & spray painted them with several coats of customer supplied paint. On installation day, Luis & his helper showed up on time and made "short work" of installing the drawers, hardware & reattaching the "faces". They cleaned up what little mess they made and invited me to inspect the finished product. It was exactly what I had been wanting for the last year. I highly recommend Lujan Cabinets, Roy & Luis.

Within months after the kitchen was done, doors started falling off the cabinets. They had installed some decent quality cabinets in my bathroom, but Noel said he's no longer working with that subcontractor and there would be a different one doing my kitchen cabinets and they would do a lot better. That was NOT the case. The cabinets they installed were at the quality you would see in a $500 a month apartment not a $300,000 condo. . I've never been so embarrassed about my home. You see the cabinets as soon as you walk in the door and they were a total eyesore . Additionally the tile work they did in the bathroom is starting to crack. I made Noel aware of it he said he would get back with me and never did. The "luxury" vinyl wood planks he installed throughout my condo are already starting to discolor and will soon need to be replaced. They also performed electrical work which was clearly not done correctly and in violation of city code. I had to hire another electrician because what they did was unsafe. I'd be surprised if the guy who did the work actually had a license. I regret reaching out to the tile gallery to do the work in my condo. Enjoy the money now, Noel. You know you didn't earn it and you know karma is coming for you.

They spent some time to make sure everything was installed correctly (on about 4000 sq ft of flooring). I waited a few months post install before writing this review to make sure everything was still good. We have no issues with our floors so far and are quite happy with Palace Floors!
