I asked why and they said due to the gel. The pedicure was done very backwards. She painted my toes before anything then put my freshly painted feet back into the water to then do the callous treatment which was rushed and done not well and it's supposed to include massage with hot stones which she didn't use the stones on me. She shaped my nails nicely but didn't clean under them. I was left bleeding last time and now this I will not be back. Not to mention after seeing they don't clean their tools properly.

I gave feedback twice to the therapist during the appt asking for deeper work but it was not on par with other massages I've received. (I explained to her that I was a licensed physical therapist and former professional dancer and was used to/needed deep tissue work.) The hair blowout with Pam was excellent. I would recommend her highly. Front Desk was lacking in communication, accuracy and customer service skills. The massage therapist said she was told a different time from what was confirmed to me. (I was confirmed for a 2:15 start time and massage didn't begin till 2:40. (my blowout appt was booked for 3:15) I was then given a 45 min. hands on massage but was charged the full hour at deep tissue rates. (their website states this: Deep Tissue Massage $85 / 60 minutes Yes-according to the clock in the massage room, I was worked on-hands on- from 2:40pm-3:25pm which in anyone's books is 45 minutes. The therapist had the audacity to stand there when I was paying and said she gave 50 minutes "on the table" which was bogus. And since the website stated 60min massage not 50 min. that was also deceptive. I had neither the time nor interest in arguing. Given that the front desk was aware that the appt started late and ended early (as I asked several times if the therapist was ready for my appt) they should have issued a discount which I requested, but instead they stood firm on pricing. I will never go back there (and I visit that area often) and have advised my local Jersey friends to stay away far from this establishment.

There were visible stains and marks on my nails, the surface did not look smooth, and the final result looked nothing like a professional manicure. I even gave them an opportunity to fix the problems, but the corrected version still did not look clean or professionally done. I genuinely do not like leaving negative reviews or hurting anyone's feelings, but I paid for a professional service and left feeling extremely disappointed with how my nails looked.
