We arrived a little early for our appointment and the owner wasn't very welcoming we knew we were early she said we had to wait because they were serving other customers which is understandable but we could pick out our colors or soak in the chair or wait. At 11:50 they took us back to the pedicure chairs. My pedicure started with a guy then switched to a woman. I wasn't asked about my shape only what kind of pedicure. In my opinion, there the pedicure pricing and options were confusing (I posted a photo but received a private message from the manager or owner asking for the picture to be removed). I settled on a gel pedicure for $50 (prices range from $32 to 55+) there was no description for the gel pedicure it just said it was $55, when it was over I had a standard pedicure with gel polish and I skipped the hot stones. I had to ask a few time for my toenails to be filed and shaped evenly and I believe that's because of the technician change part of the way way through my service (even though I had an appointment). Next we moved to my nails I wanted a regular manicure and to have the gel removed (which I shared when I arrived early and again when I was seated in the pedicure chair). Instead of soaking the hard gel off (which is what I'm use too) they chose to file the hard gel off. Not wrong but a much longer process and after leaving and closely inspecting they didn't get all of the gel off. I haven't had a regular manicure in about 6 months but my nails were not soaked in any water at all, they were trimmed, filed, a scrub was applied and painted. Overall, I don't think the service I received was soothing or relaxing ... 4 service providers for a manicure and pedicure even though we had an appointment and were there for about two hours. NOTE: I have removed my photos at the request of the business owner who sent me a private message after I posted my review.

I asked why and they said due to the gel. The pedicure was done very backwards. She painted my toes before anything then put my freshly painted feet back into the water to then do the callous treatment which was rushed and done not well and it's supposed to include massage with hot stones which she didn't use the stones on me. She shaped my nails nicely but didn't clean under them. I was left bleeding last time and now this I will not be back. Not to mention after seeing they don't clean their tools properly.

They allowed us to put Football on the TV and gave nice long foot/leg rubs. Manicurists seem to only do 2 layers of gel in NYC, but here I got the full 3 so weeks later they're still lasting, albeit grown out. I was happy with the quality, just wish the shaping of my nails had been a little bit more the way I described. I didn't get a hand massage afterwards and I dont know if it was bc they were closing or what, but all in all I'd come back just for the extra nail polish layer

I was in town for a wedding and booked a massage and blowout…read more They were 25 minutes late for my massage appt and the therapist was way too light even though I requested a deep tissue massage when I booked the appt. I gave feedback twice to the therapist during the appt asking for deeper work but it was not on par with other massages I've received. (I explained to her that I was a licensed physical therapist and former professional dancer and was used to/needed deep tissue work.) The hair blowout with Pam was excellent. I would recommend her highly. Front Desk was lacking in communication, accuracy and customer service skills. The massage therapist said she was told a different time from what was confirmed to me. (I was confirmed for a 2:15 start time and massage didn't begin till 2:40. (my blowout appt was booked for 3:15) I was then given a 45 min. hands on massage but was charged the full hour at deep tissue rates. (their website states this: Deep Tissue Massage $85 / 60 minutes Yes-according to the clock in the massage room, I was worked on-hands on- from 2:40pm-3:25pm which in anyone's books is 45 minutes. The therapist had the audacity to stand there when I was paying and said she gave 50 minutes "on the table" which was bogus. And since the website stated 60min massage not 50 min. that was also deceptive. I had neither the time nor interest in arguing. Given that the front desk was aware that the appt started late and ended early (as I asked several times if the therapist was ready for my appt) they should have issued a discount which I requested, but instead they stood firm on pricing. I will never go back there (and I visit that area often) and have advised my local Jersey friends to stay away far from this establishment.

When I asked for a thick (and short) toenail to be filed down, someone else instructed her how to do it. Every time I have had this done, they thin it in a rounded way so nail polish can go on normally. I do it myself at home and it's not a big deal. Instead, she only thinned it in one flat back and forth motion over top so it is oddly shaped and turned out looking like this (I eventually asked her to stop since she was getting so close to the skin). I appreciate how hard and long she worked, but I much prefer the result I do myself at home for $40 + $10 tip. I guess like with anywhere, it depends on who you get assigned.
