My friend and fellow Yelper, Michelle C, has spoken highly of Top Line nails and recommended it to me when I needed a quick gel mani before vacation. I soon learned that they get pretty busy so it is a good idea to call ahead for an appointment. They were able to take me in on a Friday afternoon. Since I got out of work early that day, I asked if I could come an hour and a half sooner than my scheduled appointment. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate my request and squeezed me in an hour earlier. I was immediately seated upon arrival. The nail technician gave me the gel options to choose from as she started my manicure. The process was pretty quick as I was in and out of there in under an hour. While my nails looked good in the end, I felt my manicure wasn't as thorough as I've experienced at other places (which is why I knocked off a star). I must confess, I'm crazy when it comes to my cuticles.. which, I felt were rushed through. I ended up asking the technician to go over a few spots again. She kindly did as I asked and I was happy in the end. I should add, the technician was very nice and friendly too. As for the longevity of the mani, it has been exactly 12 days and it has not chipped yet! It does seem to be coming up at certain spots so I expect it will likely start chipping soon. Pricing was pretty standard with other salons in the area. Top Line nails charges $25 for a gel mani with an additional $5 fee for gel removal. All in all, I would come back again. Came in as party of 3. We all had pedicures. The older lady I had I dug in so hard into my toes, I jumped. My toe was bleeding. She put something on it and it burned. She was very rough. The skin around my toe is red and inflamed a bit. Then she used lotion and it burned my legs. I had a reaction and she had to wash my legs with water. I didn't try any other lotions. Just skipped the masssge. WORST PEDICURE ever! Do not recommend. read more

I have thin nails and have had a very difficult time finding someone who can apply gel that will stay. I tried at least four local salons, only to have the gels fall off in days or at most a week. I went into this salon as a last effort to do something as my nails were a mess. Tina said straight away - if I do them they will not fall off. . And they didn't. They are on the quiet side, which is fine by me, i have been going for a few years now so I hear about the kids, vacations, etc. but only if I want to. Most importantly, my nails are consistently done well, no lumps, bumps, mis shapen or uneven lengths - I love the gel polish, and they even give me designs, etc. for the holidays. I had a gel manicure here and am still in pain where the manicurist filed my nails down in the beds to rough them on so the gel would stick. I told her it hurt and that my nails were thin and she told me it was necessary . I have had this manicure infrequently but I have never had my nails buffed so much with a rough file. They broke one by one in the bed. PAINFUL!! I don't know if she was inexperienced, tired or didn't care but I would not recommend her as your manicurist. I will certainly not go back. read more

Getting my nails done here the technician got the clippers under my real nail and practically ripped the whole thing off. I was mortified, almost passed out and was in extreme pain. Another time I went to take my kids and friends there for a pedicure, had an appointment, maybe was 5-7 minutes late, they berated me like a child, there was no one in the place but said they couldn't do our appointments. Excellent service, the employees are very nice and are approachable. We all know sometimes we enter a nail salon and feel judged, but not in this place. My nail tech was great! I decided to get a mani+pedi for $35 and it was worth it. They have gel available as well and a great variety of colors if you decide to get a gel manicure which is $25. The plaza is being renovated so it looks a bit desolated but they are open. It's next to auto zone, you cannot tip with credit card so consider having some cash. Place can get busy but the ladies don't rush, so don't try to go in rushed cause they take their time. Recommend it! read more

Saw Tina in recommendation from a friend got powder dip done very nice job. My previous place could not get me in ....Cleaned up my cuticles but left me sore they have been overly dry after I left to this day over a week now. got lotion on my hands then a hot towel. $35. Only thing I don't see any tools coming from a sterilizer. I may go elsewhere next time. These should last 3 weeks. My daughter goes to princess Nails sees Becky she's very good. Can we get some clean sterilized tools do we need an infection or worse. Really what a health violation. I'm not sure I'm returning. read more

I just left Top Line Nails after my 3rd try. I am very, very disappointed and one of the main reasons is this: all the people there (with the exception of the young man, who is friendly and smiling) do NOT know how to be warm, professional and friendly. They do not smile for the most part, they speak very fast and in a somewhat rude way, they show absolutely no emotion. This is not going to make their business better, but rather worse. The place also looks a bit shaggy, like its carpet, and the young man should have a tray at waist level to help take off the nail polish, while the technician unsmilingly and unemotionally does your pedicure. The poor guy will soon be having back problems from stooping, if he doesn't already. I can't seem to understand why a business would not want to treat their customers in a professional and polite way. I will not be going there again. The other reason is:Kaitlin did my whole mani/pedi in an hour! So she could do someone else she seemed to know better. She was rushing, and I had to have her do one nail over. UGH! read more

My new favorite nail salon in the Flemington area. I was running late coming from work and they stayed open a little later to accommodate. I was afraid coming in so late they would rush through my manicure but it was quite the opposite. The woman doing my nails was extremely detailed and patient and did exactly what I wanted! Very reasonable prices and largest selection of gel polish I've come across. Also very clean. read more
