Tom and Karen are so talented with their designs and very knowledgeable about nail health. They never fail to give me both beautiful and healthy nails. I've been to many nail salons, but Tom's is truly the best around in terms of quality, looks, and care. They have my business for life!! I let Karen surprise me with the design of today, and it's so elegant! Thank you Tom and Karen!!!

One word...Amazing! Best pedicure I've had in a long time. I have all good things to say about my experience. Safety protocols were followed. Friendly, warm and knowledgeable staff chatted with me and talked about the best way to keep my dry heels nice and soft. I was given a long and comforting massage along with some heated oil. The picture I attached is of a deep purple that I picked. I bought an instrument to use for my heels. Next time it's the Spa Pedicure!!

I've been a regular customer here for about 2 to 3 years. I always get an amazing manicure from Tom. I get compliments on my nails all the time. I've even had Karen do my nails one time and she does just as good of a job. Pedicures are great too, and regular customers even have their own implements set aside just for them in a numbered box. I highly recommend the salon. You should question and review that says differently. I suggest reading the reviews of the regulars who know this place best. Also, I laugh about the complaints about the parking. Everybody knows that any business with dedicated parking in Clinton always has signs up that it is for their customers only. Parking is a commodity in Clinton. People need to remember that a business that has parking is paying for it in their rent, and that the parking spaces are on private property. So to complain about a business owner who wants to keep those spaces available for their clients is ridiculous. Especially, when it's a business that takes appointments for their clients. Tom and Karen are both very nice, and they truly care about their clients. I've met several women who have been going there a lot longer than I have. Repeat customers are a testament to how good a business is. If you want your nails to look their best, this is the place to come to.

Tom is very professional and informative! He is able to do all designs and does a nice neat job.

Just rudeness and unprofessional service. Never again. I'm surprised they're still in business.

Pretty clean, and there are a lot of stations and full staff. However, the nail polish selection was small compared to other places I've been. I think what turned me off was the person doing my pedicure. She kept sharing her opinions on things I didn't ask about. I'm willing to give the place another try, but with another person. For a $25 pedicure, it is what it is!

So annoyed ~ trekked out in the pouring rain to get pedicure and the girl left early sick. I get it People get sick Things happen However, there's at least a dozen if not more of people working there and not one of them had the common decency to text me to say my person left early sick and another can take you, but we're running about 30 minutes where has common courtesy gone I get it, they do so much repeat business and walk ins that they don't have to be decent human beings and be thoughtful of others and their time I left another event to go be a good customer and had they had the common decency and common sense to take 30-seconds out of their day to alert me of the change , I would have been 100% fine with it The lack of communication is disappointing

I was given to a women who didnt speak a lick of English. I picked my color, but was rushed to the chair. I understand it's late, but I want a color I'm happy with! I didn't have time to get the sparkle polish to go over my color. Last visit the girl got me the perfect sparkles and we called it a day. Let me just tell you this nightmare. I have natural nails. Only gel polish. I am trying to grow them because they were doing awful because they were grinded with that machine down to paper thin, and I could only wear nailtiques to try and revive them. I've been growing them out for about a year with only Esse polish, and keeping them short. So begins my journey to try and grow them again. Last week being my first visit for gel in over a year. I choose NY Nails to be my salon of choice. It's $35 for a gel manicure. Back to last night's visit. The woman soaks off my previous gel polish, scraping it off very heavy handed and borderline painful. I keep my mouth shut. I did flinch and say "ow" once. She just nodded. Then she said something... I only assumed based on the stage we were on the manicure, she may have been asking whether I wanted them cut, or filed, and what shape. So I just say, filed and square. Another girl working there confirmed she did ask me what I thought. Again, it had literally no resemblance to any words I even know in the English language, or even when I turn on my accent ear. I had nothing. I normally do pretty good. Anyway, she begins filing aggressively my natural nails on the tops. I'm thinking I should say stop, but maybe she sees something I dont? I just said I think my nails will be ok with one filing, I hope. After all of the aggressive prep, comes the polish. First the clear nail base. After which I said, should I go get the glitter polish? She smiles and nods and points at a bottle on her table. I figured she didn't understand me. She then puts on one, then two coats of the pink. I then say, now the glitter? She says "one more" (which I crazily understood), and I said ok, if you think it needs it. I said then the glitter? And she smiled and nodded. Then she finishes with all the pink, and grabs the bottle she keeps pointing to. Only to find that it's clear. She puts it on my pinky... that's when I say "I guess I'm not getting glitter today?" She ignored me all together. I said it again, "No glitter?" She ignored me again, kept polishing and digging her fingernail into the sides of my nail to clear any overflow. Then it was over. She started putting lotion on my arms and hands. At this point I felt defeated. She got up to go somewhere in the back, when I got up and decided to look for glitter myself. I went to find it, and there she was all of a sudden standing next to me, smiling... I said slowly "GLITTER" "You forgot about the glitter!" "I wanted glitter". She then says "sorry" and giggles. Then we try to find an appropriate glitter. Mind you, there is already one extra layer of polish over the norm on my nails. We find a suitable glitter. She was good with one coat, and I said "one more" this time, because you could hardly see it. What's the point at that point? She does the 2 coats... Now it's about 8:10 p.m. and the place closes at 8:00 p.m. She's rushing and probably flustered from the young woman standing over inspecting her work and digging her nail into the sides of my nail trying to remove the overflow. Which is pretty bad at this point. So, after 2 glitter coats, now another top coat. So, my nails have a base coat, 3 coats of color, a top coat, two coats of glitter and another top coat for good measure. 8 coats of gel polish, I look like I have wavy nails now. So ugly. Ok if you see them from far away, but upon a closer look, it's alot of "oh's". Yeah. So being as I had to use the ATM and pay almost $4.00 for the transaction fee, and not allowed to take out $50, instead have to take out $60, and getting only $5 back from the $40... They weren't interested in giving me change, so basically forced the $10 out of me for a tip. I love tipping when tipping is earned. When the manicure is amazing and I'm happy. But when it's really bad and looks like the top of a humpback whale, I should've gotten the whole thing for FREE. If I return here, because I do love their pedicures, I will make darn sure that I do NOT ever get this woman to touch me ever again. When you walk in, she sits in the first row to the left, the first table towards the middle (not against the wall). If I had to guess, I'd say she was in her late 60's or 70's. Be warned. A picture is worth a thousand words. See below.
