I was also grateful that they offered me a face mask when I heard some coughing and was concerned about the possibility of getting sick. An older gentleman did my nails (sadly I forgot to ask his name) - he was quiet but friendly. The one thing I think could be improved would be to ask the customer a few questions - but overall I had no issues with how my nails were done. The whole business environment seemed friendly, quiet, professional, and a sense that they wanted the customer to be satisfied. They didn't do some things I have normally experienced during a gel nail treatment elsewhere but I feel reassured at the moment that it will last and not have any problems.

And she keep telling me, "It always smells like this." When I said, "No, it does not." She would not reply. Meanwhile, she is wearing a N95 mask. I asked her to take it off and smell the awful smell and she keep ignoring me. Meanwhile I observed one lady with her sweater over her mouth and nose and another lady with her scarf over her mouth and nose. I even started coughing and ran outside for fresh air. I came back in after a few minutes to finish my nails. I left with a headache and the next morning woke up with a horrible headache (and I infrequently get headaches). She was extremely careful when cutting my cuticles and thorough when shaping my nails. There isn't a single nail that isn't shaped and painted perfectly. I'm only on day 4 but they still look absolutely lovely. I was in and out in about an hour. The ONLY thing that I'd say I wish was different was that 10 second hand massage you usually get with a mani. I don't usually get gels so maybe that's not a thing with gel manicures?
