I was also grateful that they offered me a face mask when I heard some coughing and was concerned about the possibility of getting sick. An older gentleman did my nails (sadly I forgot to ask his name) - he was quiet but friendly. The one thing I think could be improved would be to ask the customer a few questions - but overall I had no issues with how my nails were done. The whole business environment seemed friendly, quiet, professional, and a sense that they wanted the customer to be satisfied. They didn't do some things I have normally experienced during a gel nail treatment elsewhere but I feel reassured at the moment that it will last and not have any problems.

I haven't been to Princess Nails in years but remember them doing a wonderful job, turns out, nothings changed! I made my appointment the day before and only waited a few minutes when I stopped in. Plenty of time to decide between two nearly identical reds (we've all been there, right?). The woman who did my nails did a beautiful job. She was extremely careful when cutting my cuticles and thorough when shaping my nails. There isn't a single nail that isn't shaped and painted perfectly. I'm only on day 4 but they still look absolutely lovely. I was in and out in about an hour. The ONLY thing that I'd say I wish was different was that 10 second hand massage you usually get with a mani. I don't usually get gels so maybe that's not a thing with gel manicures? No clue, but I did notice that was missing sadly. Other than that, for $25 I left very satisfied. The pedicure was fine, but I was very disappointed with the gel manicure. Shortly after leaving, I noticed that the polish looked streaky, uneven, and patchy, with visible brush marks and inconsistent color throughout the nails. I went home hoping it might look better in different lighting, but the next morning it was clear that the manicure did not look like the sample color I had selected and the application appeared poorly done. I called the salon immediately and was asked to return. When I showed them my nails, I explained that my concern was the quality of the application, not simply the color itself. I was told that if I wanted my nails redone, I would need to choose a different color and pay an additional $15. What made this especially frustrating was that I had already received a pedicure in the original color. I did not want to change colors because then my fingernails and toenails would no longer match. I felt I was being asked to pay extra and compromise on the look I originally selected rather than having the original service corrected. Ultimately, I agreed to choose a different color because I did not want to walk around with a manicure I was unhappy with. The second manicure looked significantly better than the first, which confirmed for me that the original application was the issue. I appreciate that they fit me into their schedule the next day, but I do not believe customers should have to pay additional money to correct a manicure that was not properly done the first time. I have included before-and-after photos so others can decide for themselves. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed, and I do not plan to return.
