I have been going to Happy Nails for years, even when they had to close. The last time I was there the manicurist Barbra was rushing through the manicure and pedicure which only took 55 minutes. Although I was 4 minutes late, I did call them. Give me a break. They weren't busy at all. Then she kept twisting my fingers and acted like she was angry. I told her I have arthritis and to go easy. Didn't stop her. Anyhow worse thing is that the gel manicure lasted 5 days. I bet she skipped a step. I did ask her if she was in a rush and she said she only had so much time. It's a miserable place now with miserable people. I'm going where my business is appreciated. Also I think I too well and always call in advance. Only late once since they've been open. read more

After going to Happy Nails for a while, I was completely turned off due to the rudeness of one of the nail technicians, Ella. My mom and I could her overhear her talking about us snidely (in English) and rolling her eyes - because we had rescheduled appointments. We NEVER didn't show up, and we never canceled at the last minute, we only rescheduled day(s) prior. Ella was visibly irritated that my mom requested her and she acted like a bratty child. Like actual rolled eyes. She had one of the other workers confront my mom about it. He was nicer than Ella, but after he was done, she kept talking about us to him. They just lost a lot of business from my family and from word of mouth. Rude customer service is a turn off - even if it's just from one single immature employee. read more

Absolutely love this place. In addition to the high quality mani and pedi services and hot stone/other options, they are extremely professional and the place is spacious, very clean (entrance, mani & pedi stations, floor and bathroom) and soothing. The music in the background and large screen Tv add a nice touch. Their COVID precautions include an air purifier at the entrance, a temperature check, plexiglass between customer and manicurist, and a partition between customer stations (both mani and pedi). They run on time because they encourage appointments, but also accept walk-ins and will tell you honestly how much of a wait there is, if any. read more

This is the best nail salon in the area. All of the technicians are pleasant, take pride in their work, and do not rush through your appointment. The quality of the treatments are excellent. They use great products. The pedi beds basins use the one-time-use disposable liners and the massage chairs work well. I'm so glad I found this gem. read more

I liked the location and the cleanliness of this salon, however, I cannot recommend Ella, she is very rude and accused me of canceling an appointment or not showing up. I always cancelled at least 24 hours in advance and only did this twice because it was beyond my control. I would not have risked my "now being allowed to come back" because of a no-show or last minute cancellation. She was extremely rude to me on a number of occasions. I requested her for my appointments because she was gentle, and this was important to me. After my last visit with her, I am finished. Even requesting someone else, would not be an option for me, because I don't even want to see her. Going to a salon should be a relaxing and pleasant experience, and I do not feel that I can get this experience at this salon any more. read more

This place is amazing! I love getting the hot stone pedicures here and they do amazing sets. The workers are very friendly, it's very busy there especially on weekends so make an appointment first. Owners are super nice ladies that make sure everyone is comfortable. Sometimes when it's really busy, walk ins are not doable. Apparently they have own 2 other salons of the same name in doylestown and I forget where the other one is. I think richboro. Love this place! Best nail salon in the area! Very clean. All the pedicure tubs have a fresh, disposable liners. Tools are disinfected and sealed. They do a great job! You watch HGTV and get a great shoulder massage after. Occasionally they can accommodate walk ins but often they cannot...definitely call and make an appointment. Highly recommend! read more

I've lived by Peddler's Village for years and just tried Happy Nails today for the first time! I had driven by it before but never stopped in as I had been a loyal Diva Nails customer. However, I really didn't feel like making the drive to Doylestown today so I stopped in to Happy Nails on a whim and I could not have been more pleased! I have never been to such a clean, quiet nail salon in my life. I got a gel manicure and experienced wonderful service and quality. Was told I couldn't come back because of a misunderstanding I had about my appointment's date and time. Mind you there is a language barrier which can result in miscommunication or personal error on both parts. I don't care how good you claim your nail service is - customer service should NOT be sacrificed and thrown to the dirt. I am appalled that that's how they decide to conduct their business. I was in for a manicure/waxing last week. The owner began my manicure, and then made another technician finish and do my waxing. The owner swiped my credit card and when I checked my statement, I realized she charged me an extra $10. It should have been $18, but I was charged $28. Luckily, my credit card company reimbursed me the money, and I realize it's not a lot of money to be overcharged, but it's the principal. I will definitely not be returning to this salon. read more

I live close to this nail salon and I have been a patron with some consistency. It is not my first choice but the convenient factor helps. After my experience today, I will not be returning! The owner complained about removing the gel I had on my nails,told me I should have made an appointment and overcharged me. I have NEVER been to a salon where they charge you an extra 10.00 to remove gel polish. When I left the salon, they never even acknowledged me with a goodbye. I left a nice tip because it was not the technician's fault that the owner was competely rude. The treatment I received there was absolutely horrible. From here on out, I will drive further to be treated with respect and not price gauged. read more

I was a "regular" at Happy Nails. Every two weeks for a year I went for a gel manicure. The salon was clean and Ella my manicurist did an acceptable job. When I realized my nails began to get dry and brittle I stopped my visits to the salon and began to care for my nails at home. When I returned to Happy nails several months later for my first summer pedicure, Ella did not even look in my direction-- much less say "Hello. How are you." Instead she stomped through the salon taking great efforts to avoid eye contact with me. Talk about an uncomfortable experience. Yesterday, I called to come in for my second pedicure. I was not going to let one person's unprofessional, rude, somewhat juvenile behavior stop me from coming back to the salon. On the phone I was told that I had made an appointment on June 26th and never showed. The gentleman on the phone explained that if I wanted a pedicure there, I would be required to pay for the "no show." I was dumbfounded. With only three pedicures a year, there is zero chance I made an appointment and either did not show or did not cancel. Just wondering if a disgruntled employee changed the appointment book. And also, what nail salon fully charges a client for a service that was never performed. It's not exactly a doctor's office. What bad business! If there were multiple instances of undependable behavior, I can understand a polite conversation with the client.
