Then 3rd tech comes, abruptly moves me while hands under curing light. Not one time did any of them say why being moved, when I said something to 3rd tech she apologized but still no explanation. Didn't want to give even one star. Was looking for a place near my work as a back up because my regular nail girl reduced her hours. I decided to get gel to keep it simple since this was my first time at the salon. I had dip on my nails, charged me an additional $10 to soak it off which consisted of soaking my fingers in a baggie of remover. Talk about extra drying to your hands! The service was fine, but literally the next day, four of my nails were chipped on the sides and each day, add another. I've had to clip nearly all of them all down because they were so jagged from the cracks, they were catching on everything .. it's been a little over a week and they're a mess! I don't know if it was just poor gel coverage, bad filing or what but I didn't even want to waste my time going back because I didn't want them to touch my nails again. Thank goodness I didn't get a pedicure as well. I saw all the great reviews, which is why I picked them, but everyone should be good at a salon, not just a select few. So I paid 50 bucks and my nails were chipped and a total a mess by the weekend. read more

This place was great initially. I was so dissatisfied the last two times I was there. After the most recent encounter, I will not return. I am suspecting the poor service was since the owner was not there. My gels were removed without soaking only with filing and the electric roller thing. I was picking out my gel color and thought she was just removing the top layer. When I asked, what happened she shrugged. I then asked for my nails to me cut shorter (since she had not asked what I wanted) and she immediately started speaking in another language to the lady doing my pedicure. I was so frustrated and immediately said is there a problem? Removing gels without soaking is just careless. Clearly they do not care about my nails. read more

I used to frequent this salon between 2010-2020 before I moved out of the area. I've recently returned & desperately needed a gel manicure. I called for an appointment, and when I arrived, I picked my color, but the nail tech I was assigned to could not find the color I selected on her own, she required assistance from one of the other employees. This was the first red flag. I then asked her to trim my natural nails, but that I would like to preserve as much length as possible. She then begins to hack away at my right hand, trimming my nails all the way down to the skin. By the time I noticed, it was really too late to say anything to her about it. Then when she gets to my left hand, she chops down HARD on the clippers, and cuts deep into the nail bed of my left thumb. I instantly screamed, I couldn't even hold it back. I started bleeding, and then SHE CONTINUED TO CUT MY NAIL!!!! Did not say sorry or acknowledge the situation or give me an opportunity to rinse the blood off my thumb!!!! SHE KEPT CUTTING THE NAIL ?!?!?!? I told her to stop and went to rinse my hand. I should have left after that, because the rest of the appointment took an hour. I was in the salon for 90 minutes for JUST A GEL MANICURE. She wasn't even really taking her time or paying attention to detail, she was just truly that slow. She only did two coats of polish, which is fine in most cases, but I am sitting here not even two weeks later and EVERY nail is chipped or ALL of the polish has come off the nail. Not to mention, my nails are also splitting & I am constantly having hang nails to trim. I was not fond of the way she removed my old polish. I personally prefer to have the gel soaked off, but she filed off all of my old gel polish using the electric filing tool, and I believe this may be the reason my nails are breaking, even though she cut them SO short. WORST $35 I HAVE EVER spent in my life. I will never go back & I am EXTREMELY disappointed, as this was a salon I used to feel I could rely on. read more

I was pulled and tugged around. I was in shock because I never got anything less than 5 star treatment here. I really felt like I did something to them to piss them off. I came here in the middle of the week, I made sure to call before heading over just to make sure they had time for a pedicure. I have never had a better experience. I got the best and longest leg massage ever. And then when I went to sit at the drying station I got another great shoulder massage. My gel pedicure is still going strong after two weeks! I went there to try a different nail salon (college student looking for a good price) and I was happy with my visit. The girl that did my manicure was friendly and precise so my nails look really great! I told them that it was my first visit and they gave me a complementary eyebrow wax which was cool! It's a small but quaint salon. They could probably use some updates but otherwise it was great! Also, their polish selection and display is really appealing. I could very easily find a color because everything is in color order! I don't get my nails done often, but I'd go there again! EDIT: my eyebrow wax made my eyebrow area red for a solid four days.
