I'm so disappointed with my nails. I walked in with an appointment and got gels nails. Usually gel nails are not suppose to crack but it's been day 2 and 3 of my nails cracked and others are almost cracking. They are pricey $80 for gel mani-pedi. Its an upscale Asian nail salon. However the work they do is great and they will do your nails like you see on Pinterest. The massage is pretty good as well. I recommend this place for special occasions. read more

I decided to come here despite reading the recent bad reviews. It hasn't even been a week and the gel is already peeling. Every gel mani I've gotten has lasted me almost a month! The woman who did my nails took forever for a gel mani! Took about 1.5 hours! She only put one top coat on because it was closer to closing time. Even now, my nails have that sticky feeling which I've never had before, and my cuticles are horrendous. I will not be coming back here for sure. read more

Visited here for gel mani, pedi and full set for a friend as our salon was not available. - Pedi, was poorly painted, and had retouched and too many coats - looked thick and "globby". Sanded down a rough spot to the skin - ouch. Took OVER an hour and specified we had to leave by a specify time (we left plenty of time to complete the services for both of us and had significant technicians. - Gel mani (went in with natural nails and directed NOT to file the tops or shorten as I don't typically get them). She kept trying to file them down and I had to repeatedly pull my hand away to stop. They were shaped into short semi circles/very round, awful and No way to fix. Asked to make sure the light pink/natural color I chose was opaque and Not see through. She confirmed. Color was sheer. Due to time I said just use the red from my pedi and it was a different red. It's been a week and 3 are peeling. This never happens at my #1 place. - full set - polish job was pretty, but nails were thick and 3 broke within the week. 2 popped off entirely. Took over 2 1/2 hours and overcharged. read more

This is just an okay nail place. As you walk in, someone greets you and tells you to pick out your color. However, there arent too much colors so it was hard for me to choose compared to some places where there are too many colors so its hard to make decision. The pedicure chair and water bowl are also small. The ladies working are nice and willing to help. They do speak Vietnamese but they try to make conversation with you too. She put thinner in the color which I wasnt too happy about but I think many places do that anyways. There is extra charge $1-3 if you tip on card. read more

Worst nail salon ever.... how it's possible that they don't have acrylic or gel ‍ I HIGHLY don't recommend this place ever.... I walked in and asked them for acrylic nails, they said they didn't have acrylic so the lady said they only had gel... so I agreed and the price was $20, then at the I realized that they were talking about polish and not real acrylic gel. They charged me $12 for nothing and something I could have done at home, if I went there is 'cause I didn't want my real nails..... and it's not my fault that the lady didn't explain herself. Very good experience. I took off one star because it's not the neatest manicure I've ever received... The edges around the top of the nail and underneath were missed. Hands down the BEST salon in the area! I will never go anywhere else again. I found this gem in a search for a place to get myself and my girls nails done for my wedding. Idol Nails went above and beyond the call of duty! If you have a certain number of people (I believe it's only 6) they shut down the place and don't take any other appointments or walk in's. They provided a fruit tray, water bottles and gave us the option to bring our own booze. They hung balloons and signs and kept asking me if I was happy, they really went all out to make me feel special! Besides the wedding treatment they do a phenomenal job and have been a returning customer ever since! I've lived in the area for years, so happy I found this place! read more

One of the better mani's I've had. $53 for gel French mani and regular pedi in the spa chair. It's on the pricey side but for a stay at home mommy, it's a nice treat every once in awhile. They take their time and check with you to make sure you like the shape and width of the French tip. Visiting in-laws, definitely treating myself every time we're here. Only con and why I gave them 4 not 5 stars... Their technique for removing gel polish is soaking your hands in a bowl of acetone. I think I burned off my finger prints and the smell is intense. My previous experience with removal is a piece of cotton ball on each nail soaked in acetone and wrapped with tin foil while getting my pedi. read more

Pretty decent nail salon. I don't get mani/pedis often but decided to treat myself to early birthday gift. The massage chairs they have in the pedi station are awesome. Really strong and lots of options. The pedicure felt wonderful. A+. The manicure was also nice, but more like an A- I picked red colors for both feet and hands. Upon closer inspection, I can see that my manicure polish could have been more carefully applied. I know red is tough to paint on, but I was hoping for better clean-up of stray polish. But all in all I'm satisfied and will probably be back for another session. read more

I had to find a new nail salon one day because my old salon hung up on me 5 separate times on the phone so I logged into Yelp from my phone and saw good reviews about this place. My sister has also visited here since they had a Groupon so I thought let me give it a try. Well, I am so glad I did! They do a fantastic job. My nails never chip, they take their time and are so friendly. Seriously one of the best places I have been to in a long time. I am one of those super picky people and will find everything wrong with my nails - not here! I have been going for 6 weeks now and I plan on never visiting another place again. The girl who did my pedicure was new and only talked a little bit (just the way I like it). It was pricey, I think I paid $60? but my feet stayed soft for about two weeks and i have super rough feet so I can't complain! read more

First off, if you have short nails, be ready to receive ridicule, harassment, and countless questions. The three ladies here laughed the whole time i was there because i had short nails. I obviously went there for a reason because I'm attempting to grow them out and wanted to get them done. After kindly asking them if there was an issue (because if the non-stop consulting they had in another language), they proceeded to ask me what i want. This is where it gets good. I asked them for a specific color, bubble bath by OPI. They proceeded to tell me this rule: if you do happen to choose a color from their samples, and it's OPI, then there's no extra fee. But if you specifically request OPI colors, there's a fee. I've been getting my nails done for about 8 years and NEVER in my life have i heard of this rule. I can sum up this place in just a few words: unprofessional, cheap, disrespectful, and inexperienced. read more

I went to Idol's Nails for the first time to get nails done with my bridal party the day before my wedding. We had a really great experience and our nails looked amazing! The women that work there were totally professional. I got french acrylic nails. They cut they to the exact length, thickness, and shape that I wanted and that looked really classy for the wedding. They also did a great job with the gel nail polish. My bridesmaids all got gel manicures and they looked really great. We will definitely all be going back. read more

I tried here once for a gel mani. The staff was very friendly, and made me feel welcomed. They told me about specials they were running and where I could find some coupons online. However the uv light for the drying process was broken. I had to keep my hand strangely tilted upwards while my polish cured. The staff didn't seem to think it was a problem, even though I kept accidentally nicking my polish inside the light. My operator never even mentioned the broken light, she would just sigh when they saw I nicked it and demonstrate the 90 degree angle I should try to keep my hand in while curing. The manicure was okay, but the process was a bit of a killjoy from when I walked in the door. Considering it was decently busy, and the fabulous reviews I hope this isn't too reflective. I'll try again, and hope all of the equipment is up to par. Again, the staff was wonderful and the manicure, even though it was a awkward process, was fine. read more

THERE ARE MUCH BETTER SALONS OUT THERE!!!!!. The spa pedicure is very basic and not worth the $$. The 2 girls chatted back and forth using their foreign language, very apparent they were bashing someone...and not paying attention to the paying client. SAVE your $40 and 40 minutes.... Oh and my massage chair was broken too. NEVER AGAIN... One day later and the top of my toes and heals are cracked as crap! Definitely won't be back!!!! read more

The person who did my manicure and pedicure was nice but she applied the color very streaky and she shaped my nails very uneven. When I asked the person for change, the person in the front was very rude and grumbled to himself that I should have had change with me. I think the whole place was in a rush.
