We got green tea spa pedicure which was $55 Including callus treatment and 15mins reflexology Well first, shapes of nail were all variable on each toes... and the one who did my pedi wasnt doing good job on me. Didnt put leg pack all the way back of calf. Just front. Not evenly spread. And wrapped half way around. But she did good on callus treatment. Massage was not good either. I didnt really know the point of stick she used for reflexology. Hot stone wasnt hot either. And the polish was not evenly painted. While she was giving me back rub when i was drying my toes, looked like owner, she told the employee to stop and leave. The girl stopped giving me massage abruptly and left. Leaving me feeling like getting unfinished service Overall experience wasn't satisfying for the price we paid for. Cost more than average read more

Not bad in a pinch! This is a no frills nail salon. They offer a variety of services in addition to mani/pedi and have a nail club. I'm new to the area and needed a mani/pedi in a pinch for an event and had very limited time, about an hour. The same tech did my mani/pedi in the time frame I needed. Was it the best experience? No. But it was definitely adequate for what I needed. If I had more time to relax and enjoy I might have rated them higher. There are no TVs. Just relaxing music. My mani/pedi was $57 for regular polish. I would try them again and see if I enjoyed it even more if I didn't have to rush. read more

My nails look nice. But darn it, had to work for it. I made my appointment by phone & requested OPI powder dip. I arrived before my scheduled time. I asked if my nail beds could be manicured first (I was willing to pay the $14 extra she quoted). When she finished removing my old gel, I thought she was going to forget (there was some cordial discussion back and forth initially, where I stated that I knew what was not the typical process for a powder dip, but my nail beds needed attention). She said not to worry that I would get my manucure. While the owner removed the gel from one hand (with acetone), she started to use this scraping tool, (after she unwrapped it once). I kindly said that I do not want my nails scraped (she was aggressive because on one finger, some of my nail was scraped up as well). She rewrapped them to allow them to soak more, but wouldn't wrap my pinky since it had only a little at the tip. I asked her twice to wrap the pinky also (if the other four were still soaking, why did it matter if the last one soaked also--bc she was going to scrape it, against my wishes). She agreed, but of course a conversation ensued with the employees (not in English). Then, she put Kiara Sky French powder on the table. I asked her again, "Do you not have OPI?" "Yes, but not in the French," was her answer. "No, I only want OPI." So I got out of my seat to choose an OPI color. Then the nail technician began with Kiara Sky bond and the owner brought the base, top coat and sealer to the station. Guess what products they were? Kiara Sky! So I asked, "Do you not have these in OPI?" This was before my fingers were dipped in color and of course, by then, I was MORE than ready to just leave. Finally, the owner acquiesced, and brought over the OPI products. More conversation ensued between the employees (not in English). I was one of 2 customers at the time in the salon, which would leave one to believe the conversation could have been about me, because the other customer was drying her nails. At the end, my nails looked nice. I tipped $7 on a $40 service ($6 is my usual), but maybe next time I should just ask the nail technician to tip ME after all my efforts to get what I requested?? Love this place! Julie did an amazing job on my nails. I had three nails that were partially torn and she was able to fix them and make them feel really durable. Went for a full set of acrylics before the holidays. Had an appt for an hour before close, so they knew what was requested and when. They had two women do a hand each to rush through, the quality difference between the hands was very obvious. One hand had bubbles throughout the acrylic and a yellowish tint. Had to point out a large white spot in the acrylic where it was not saturated that they "didnt notice" and a crooked nail. Requested oval shape with simple french tips, yet midway through the techs repeatedly reminded me that they were rushing to close and that ovals were hard. I would've understood the rush if I had walked in, but this was a scheduled appt. read more

A friend introduced me to Iris Nail & Spa awhile ago and I've visited a few times since, so I feel confident leaving a positive review of their services as consistently good. Iris offers a bunch of different services, like waxing and massages, but I haven't tried those yet so my review is mainly for the manicures and pedicures. I love their manicures, as they always go above and beyond with service, like putting oils and massaging your hands and/or neck. Their basic pedicure includes a foot massage and the products they use leave my skin soft. Also, I've never had any trouble talking to any of the technicians in English, and all of the girls are really lovely and easy going. Decor-wise, the salon is very pretty and has an open space kind of feel. They have these cute vintage posters and a waiting room, as well as a fee free ATM machine for tipping in cash. Very disappointed. I went there today to get a basic pedicure. I did not have an appointment. When I entered I asked if they took walk-ins and they said yes but it was not a warm greeting. They close at 6:00 on Saturdays, I arrived at 4:20. She said pick a color after I used the hand sanitizer and a guy took my temperature. As I was picking my color the guy just stood there watching me so I asked him if he needed anything from me and he said no then walked away. The technician was not friendly or engaging, she just stated and was rushing even though like I said they didn't close until 6:00. I will say the only part I enjoyed was the foot massage. Best place in Lansdale to get your nails done and since I started coming here I won't go anywhere else! The staff is super friendly from the moment you walk in until you leave! The woman who did my nails, Sophia, was so sweet and even put nail hardener on my nails because I told her I had broken a couple nails during my recent move. The pedicures are incredible too! They itemized the bill and charged me for gel polish $20 a repair $5 and fill $35! So I was here about a week ago to get manicure and my eyebrows done everything was fine until a younger girl that worked there started laughing at me and a male worker there was like sh shhh...and pulled her away, i was still sitting there getting my mani done and the same girl sits NEXT to my manicure lady Vicky and the male worker sits next to me, the girl pulls OUT HER PHONE and takes a picture of me or what I believe to be chest tattoo ( as she was laughing at me before and speaking in Korean to her co worker she was making gestures on her chest and looking right at me). In no way should you EVER make a customer feel uncomfortable...( no matter height weight skin color tattoos! etc...) i was so pissed i just left ( still tipped the lady that was working on me, not her fault) but i can tell you i will never go back there and tell everyone i know how rude most of those people are there. Overall my experience here was good, however I only gave it two stars because I have experience better. Prices were a bit high, not very many pedicure chairs (I was with two friends and we had to do some maneuvering to all sit together) and truthfully after the shoulder massage while sitting at the nail dryer the next day I literally could not move my neck. It might have been a coincidence, but maybe not. They did a nice job on my pedicure, but I probably won't be back as I can get an equally good pedicure at other places for much less money. read more

Expensive and not great customer service. I got a shellac manicure and an eyebrow wax and before tip was almost $50. You CANNOT tip on a credit card so make sure you have cash. I took my mom here this past Tuesday for her first pedicure. I was able to purchase two Groupons a couple months ago for the service, and it ended up being $54 for two manicures and two pedicures - great deal! We got there around 6:10 pm (they close at 7) and were seated around 6:25. I was pleased with the service but felt a little rushed by the end - they ended up doing my mom's mani and pedi at the same time while she was in the pedi chair. I would've actually loved this, those chairs are so comfortable! She seemed totally fine with it. I gave 3 stars because I don't often get my nails done, but the experience was great for the price and the timing. One thing to note, they only take tips in cash. They also seemed to handle walk-ins pretty well, as a few people walked in when we were in the chairs and were helped quickly. read more

I came today with my daughter to get mani pedi since she was home for break from out of state university. Have not been here in probably a year or so and did notice the quality of workmanship and courtesy had gone down dramatically! Probably dating myself but felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode when Elaine suspects the Korean woman are making fun of her in Korean and she goes in there with George's dad to confirm. Wound up needing to go back 2 hrs later because both big toes were smudged since I was rushed out of there after they got my money for services. I went back with my younger daughter and quietly told them why I was back as to not cause a scene since that wasn't my intention. They told me to sit and in 5 min they would fix it. Waiting 15min later where they pulled someone else from the back to do it anyway! The girl fixed them for me asking if I put shoes on to ruin them and I explained no the polish was too thick and not given enough time to dry. Don't splurge on myself too much so if I spend 34 for a pedicure I want it to last more than 2 hrs later. I leave the salon and my 9 yr old tells me when I get in the car that the light colored curly haired Korean made a face at me behind my back which was the same lady that did my daughters pedi and making snide comments in English too about her legs which I thought odd! Should have walked back in and said something but my daughter did not want me too! If you want a crappy pedi and Korean attitude this is your place if not find another more professional place! Friendly staff, they offer a membership card and it is easy to get points and receive free services. It does cost $5 to sign up. They do offer bundle packages to buy in advance and save $$ but I have not done that yet. read more

My favorite place to get a pedicure is this place by far. You have to pay for one of the spa pedicures because it is worth it. They actually spend an hour on the pedicure and give a great massage on your legs/feet. You also get a hot stone massage with any of the spa pedicures and reflexology. Then when your feet are drying they give a back massage too. It is a very deep massage so some people may not like it. But I drive from 30 minutes away just to come back to this place. read more

Thought about going here before and finally did, my nails turned out great although the women there were not the friendliest. I work in customer service, when you work with people you should treat them with respect. I was discouraged to get the feeling they were making fun of the woman next to me. She had been confused on what the woman told her to do and asked her to repeat it. It happened 2 separate times. They began talking amongst each other right after and were laughing hysterical. They then asked her a question and started speaking amongst eachother again then laughing harder. Now I do not know what they were actually saying but it was quite clear what was going on. The woman clearly caught on as well seeing she didn't return when she said she needed to get cash from an atm for a tip. This place is a hidden gem. It is a bit more expensive than some of the other places in the area, but it's worth the money. The place is immaculate, they have all the latest OPI colors and the massages are great. I could have fallen asleep during the hot stone massage. Gina did a fantastic job on my manicure. She managed to give me perfectly square nails that are all the same length. It seems like a simple request, but it's not something that I have had done very often. I never write reviews but I felt the need. Don't go here. First of all, awful customer service. Nail technician barely spoke to us at all. Manicure was mediocre at best. Not impressed, nor am I impressed with their UV light machine. Seems dated and old. My gel manicure cost me $35 (ridiculous) and then additional $5 because I had old gel on. Also ridiculous. I have never paid for removal when I was getting a new mani done. Went here for convenience of location and will not go again. I'll stick to driving a bit further in Doylestown (to Signature Nails and Spa) and pay $25 for my gel manicure and have much better service in a cleaner place! I decided to try Iris for a manicure and pedicure because several of my friends have been raving about it. I really don't know what all the hype is about. Service was terrible. I don't think anyone working there spoke English, so I couldn't hold a conversation with my nail person. For a manicure and pedicure, I expected to be at the salon for at least an hour. My manicure was done in 15 minutes, pedicure in 20 minutes. It was rushed and not relaxing. I was so disappointed. I will give Iris another chance to see if they can redeem themselves. Stay tuned. I want to start by saying this spa is a nice, clean nail salon. They do great manicures and pedicures where they do wonderful massages. They are very expensive so don't think you are getting those massages for free. I have been here numerous times so I was well aware of the price and came anyway. But when you pay this much you expect good service but you will not get that here. I don't even need the people to talk to me. Just run a professional business. One time I came with a groupon and got yelled at for not telling them up front I had a groupon. Next time I got a groupon I realized why. They give you an express service with a groupon. So you pay 25 instead of the normal 35 and they leave out the extra bonus stone foot massage. I just came here (writing this review while my nails dry) and said I wanted a pedicure and the girl talked me into a manicure too. Later 2 people walked in and she started talking in her native language to the owner and another woman running things (who were stuffing envelopes and watering plants - not assisting the busy salon in any way) but then the girl doing my pedicure said she could no longer give me a manicure because there are other customers. I will never return and I hope the 2 woman that are running things here read this and see that is not how customer service is done in this country. If anyone has a good nail salon recommendation in lansdale let me know! By the way I am using the iris wifi to write this review. At least they give you that. By far the most luxurious pedicure I have had. I made the trek to Iris after hearing my friend Anat's awesome experiences there. The salon is immaculate, full of natural light, and most notably, void of those terrible fumes. There must be some great ventilation going on in this place because you don't even get a whiff of that acrid nail salon smell. The ladies at Iris really take their time and deliver amazing results. I was thrilled to get massage and hot stone treatment with my services; many salons I have visited will charge extra and badger you about upgrading your pedicure but Iris just includes everything. That said, this salon is a little pricey. In my opinion, it is worth the splurge because my beautiful mani pedi lasted several weeks (I got gel). The technicians were all very polite and friendly (no smack-talking or giggling) and frankly, I'm willing to pay a little more to enjoy an immaculate space and top-tier service. read more
