Incredibly disappointing. Quick to take your money, SLOW to fix mistakes. The owner was rude, rushed through my manicure, and rushed you to pick a color. I noticed the same pattern/behavior with the next customer. I spent $70.00 for a pedicure, and they used old products. I whispered to the owner not to embarrass her or disturb anyone else's relaxation time, that I was highly disappointed with the manicure (please see photos), and explained I had an affair that evening. She rushed through putting another coat of polish on my nails, making it a sloppy mess with little attention to detail sides and tops of the nails were not painted--a very disappointing experience for almost $100.00. I still tipped the pedicurist but not the manicurist- My encounter was so poor it was the first time I have never not tipped anyone ever due to such rude and poor customer service. read more

I had tried this salon after my daughter had gone here several times. I requested a regular manicure and pedicure. This salon is far superior to the other salons I have used in the past. The atmosphere is very calming and soothing. The chemical smell that is often times present in other salons was not present here, although people were getting gel manicures, tips, etc. The pedicure was top notch! I've heard mixed reviews about POSH Nails from people around the area. I've went over a few months ago after I was done work and loved the nail's from what I could remember. I haven't been back since because I normally go to my other nail salon in Eagleville but I decided to give POSH another try with my refill, shaping, and color change. If you can't see by the pictures, I believe they are the best nails I've ever gotten in my life. First, when you walk in they ask you to wash your hands and they have paper towels provided in a basket next to the sink. Then they take your temperature as you fill out a COVID-19 form. So far so good. I was able to get seated right away. I think my nail tech was Kimmy. She did a great job making conversation with me, making sure I was okay while she was doing my nails, and even helped pick out my nail color because I could not decide. Once my nails were dry, Jin came over and helped me out of my seat and to the door with a smile on her face and a laugh that made me feel great about the time I spent at POSH. New to the area i was excited to hear about posh nails thru ppl. I was even more excited to find out it's literally down the street from my house. The location is in a new nice shopping center and there is plenty of parking. I made an appointment and was seen right away. There's a lot of really great nail color choices and i love that a lot of it is opi which is my fave brand. My nails were lookin really ratch and they were broken and all different lengths but Jin was able to make my nails look nice clean and even. She was super careful with me and usually I'm nervous when i go to new nail salons but i was able to just relax shortly after my manicure started. The nail salon is so nice and clean and free of harsh chemical smells. A very relaxing environment and the staff is very calm and accommodating. Although it's a few bucks more than your average nail salon you truly get what you pay for so if you're looking for basically perfect nails i would recommend trying posh out. I've had success in the past with this establishment and with my nail tech Kimmy, I believe I still have wonderful gleaming reviews on this same exact page but this is no longer the case. I could no longer handle her mood swings, attitudes, and tantrums. A client is supposed to be able to tell their tech if they'd like something updated / fixed and shouldn't feel pressured to just accept services as the tech best sees fit. Although she is super talented, I needed to remove myself from that toxic environment. Some days she wouldn't feel well and as a result would cut some of my services like a massage or lotion moisturizing, some days she'd be super angry at management and would use my nail session to vent her frustrations, some days she just acted like she couldn't understand me and what I wanted out of my appointment. Instead of feeling at peace and rejuvenated after my nail appointment, I would leave frustrated and sometimes even in tears. It just isn't worth coming here to feel this way. There are plenty of establishments that are happy to take our business. I do want to mention that on the contrary, Mike the owner seems quite pleasant and professional and was extremely understanding during my last phone call where I notified him I could no longer bring my business here. read more

Went here for the first time for a gel manicure and standard pedicure pre vacation and had a mostly positive experience. It is now 2.5 weeks later and other than the back looking silly from my nails growing so fast, the tips aren't chipped or peeling on a single nail even after a week at the beach. My only minor complaints are that the girl who did my manicure was a bit rough with the filing/buffing block and actually broke my skin open just behind the cuticle on multiple nails. I was also not a big fan of them starting the manicure while I was still in the pedicure chair. Felt like I was being rushed out the door despite it being an hour from closing. My appointment started on time though and the salon felt welcoming compared to others in the area that seem to be total chaos and the opposite of relaxing. I would definitely return! read more

DO NOT waste your money here. This place is way overpriced and will nickel and dime you for everything. I paid $85 for a full set!!!! Not including tip. $65 alone just for dip nails, then $15 for a little chrome polish, and $5 for the almond shape.....What shape is included in the $65??????? A full set of nails should never costs this much. Nail salons have been very GREEDY the past couple years and it just keeps getting worse. I had co workers that were going to start coming there on their lunch breaks as well but not anymore for the prices they have for only decent work. The lady that checked me out told me the price and when I asked for the breakdown she told me, took my money and ran to the back. She did not take the time to sit there and explain their prices to me. She just wanted the money and to move on. Like I said before, GREEDY. I don`t know who they think they are with these prices. So impressed by Jin and her staff. I received what can only be described as the best gel manicure and pedicure I have EVER received. My fingernails are very unhealthy and bumpy due to chronic anemia, but Jin made them look healthy and smooth. She was also really gentle and took her time on my cuticles, which I really appreciate because I had a bad run-in recently at the nail salon I had gone to for years (I have since broken up with the former nail salon). Basically, the technician, who was full of piss and vinegar from the jump, used the block to buff away my cuticles, and the manager/owner gave zero f's when I brought her nasty temperament and subpar skills to his attention. My cuticles were completely botched when I arrived at Posh Nails one week later; therefore, I really appreciate Jin's gentle, detail-oriented touch. Today I got a pedicure from Young. The moment she approached me I was immediately comfortable. Her energy was so calm and light. Young is amazing and she was incredibly gentle throughout the process. The foot massage was HEAVEN. HEAAAAAAAAAVEN. The salon is also amazing. Beautiful. Calm. Serene. Immaculate. Stunning. It's the most beautiful nail salon I have ever visited. It was my second time going to Posh nails. I feel like there service is very rushed and hectic my lady was doing other peoples nails back and forth along with mine. I'm not sure if they are under staffed so I understand but I am more upset with the results. I've had them for a day and I see there's spots she missed. I have a wedding to go to as bridesmaid and I have to redo the set three days the event. I'm not sure the name of the lady I had this time around but she was on her phone and extremely unprofessional. I've been going to Posh for a few months since I moved to the area. I've never had a major problem however I've experienced long waits with an appointment, but nothing to truly complain about. After today though, I don't think I'll be back. While I had to go back into the salon twice (which I never do) the woman who did my nails and owner were accommodating to attempt to fix the issue (nail tech layered two different brands and two different colors and assured me it would look ok after I said I'd simply choose another color). However, the attempt to fix seemed rushed and I left less than satisfied. Not only that, I watched as the owner put sandals back on children, took care of someone's pedicure and then came over to me to do my nails without washing her hands. I nodded and agreed that my nails were ok because after over an hour, I wanted out of there and I didn't want to pay for an entirely new mani, which I wish I now had after my skin and cuticles were rubbed raw from all the polish buffing. The owner really is sweet, but after today I'm sad to say I won't be back. I thought I found my local nail salon, but the search continues. read more

Walked in at 9:30am on a Saturday, and walked out 30 minutes later was a perfect manicure. I was in town for a wedding, and decided (last minute) that I wanted to get my nails done. Found this salon, and went over Saturday morning. They were pretty busy, but Jin took me right away. Jin buffed, polished, massaged, and made my nails look gorgeous! I would make an appointment if possible - they were even busier when I left around 10:00am Saturday morning. Plenty of parking. Tons of nail polish colors to choose from. read more

Just because you call something "posh" doesn't actually make it nice. I called to make an appointment and was told that a dip manicure and a gel pedicure would be $95- fine. I went in, I was told to pick a color, I said which services I was having and still told to pick a color. I sat in a pedicure chair- they never filled it with water. She started to remove my gel polish and then said she would do the paint, then do my manicure and then FINISH with the pedicure- WHAT? So paint my toes, let them dry and then do all the water and scrubbing. Since she already removed my toe polish I said just do the polish change. Then they asked what color I wanted on my fingers- the same as my toes- they don't have the same color in dip- well why didn't you let me know that when I told you at the beginning. I sat for my manicure....NOT ONE METAL TOOL WAS TAKEN FROM A SANI PACK- everything was just out DIRTY!! In my head I already knew I wouldn't be back- I go to pay- the dip manicure and the polish change? $85.....on what planet is a polish change $40 The worst....plus my dip CHIPPED after two weeks read more

Showed a picture of the dip nails that I was looking to get done. The tech added pink dip instead of clear. I asked if it was going to lighten and she said no this is what we use. There was a clear dip powder sitting on the table so I was confused why she was using the pink and questioned it. I was also getting a green design which is why I wanted the clear dip. When all was said and done I was shocked that the nails were $75 (not including tip). I live in San Diego and I never pay that much for dipping powder, even with the oval shape and removal of the previous dip. When I got outside in the sunlight I realized just how pink the dip powder was on my nails, I had green tips so it looked absolutely ridiculous. I am not one to complain but I was very upset with how they looked. I went back in and spoke with the manager and told her that the tech did a good job, I was just not satisfied with the color since I had asked for clear and they used the pink. I asked if they could just repaint the nails for me... her response was if I wanted a different color I would have to pay another $75 to get that done. I was appalled that she didn't even care that I was upset nor did she try to make any measures to try to rectify the situation. I recently visited this salon for the first time to have a pedicure. They were very accommodating with the scheduling and the service was high quality. Pedicures run about $29. This service includes nail trimming, polishing, massage of feet and legs. The technician also gave a shoulder massage while my feet were drying.
