With all the stellar reviews this place received, I wanted to love this place, I really did. And I hate being the anomaly, but I have to be honest: there really wasn't anything special here. Just a pretty standard nail salon that thankfully speaks English. The staff was sweet and very accommodating, but service and the setting were just OK. I got a gel mani, and less than a week later, the edges were already chipping. My cuticles were not fully prepped before the gel polish, so the tech actually cured some of the gel over my cuticle and skin. The salon felt cluttered and cramped as well. If you're in the area and just want a nail salon that will do a basic mani or pedi while speaking to you in a language you can actually understand, then by all means I recommend Edith's. But if you're looking for something with a bit more quality for the price, keep looking. read more

I found my favorite salon!!! I am always hesitant to go to a nail salon for the following reasons: 1. They smell like chemicals, 2. I had the best time here! My family and I were in from out of town for my wedding and we needed a place to relax and have some "Girl Time" before the big day. Unfortunately, we waited until the last minute and could not find a nail salon that could accommodate our group of 8 on a Friday evening. I am so happy that my aunt stopped to inquire at Natural Nails by Edith. The girls graciously fit us in and we really enjoyed our time, both with them and with each other! This was my first experience in a nail salon where I genuinely had great conversation with my manicurist. I love this salon! I had acrylic nails for a long time, but really did not like the chemicals and the chemical smells at the salons. I found Edith's salon and now I am using a great gel polish on my nails that lasts a long time, does not cause harm to my nails and does not smell! I don't have to worry about what toxins i am being exposed to. Her salon is so lovely and peaceful. Many of the other salons are just factories that are loud and frenetic. I've been seeing Edith now for almost a year. Before I started coming to Edith I painted my own toes and rarely had my nails done. I had a wedding to go to and all of us bridesmaids got our nails done at a chain salon in Huntington Beach and it was the worst mani/pedi I've ever had. The gel on my nails pulled off so many layers of my nails and grew out terribly in the week after getting them done, and my toenails were cut soooooo short they hurt. Around the same time, my mother in law had just discovered Edith and I decided that I needed to try a different kind of nail salon after my horrible experience. Edith's salon is clean, welcoming and decorated very cute. You immediately feel comfortable. Edith is very professional and also makes you feel instantly comfortable, she is a joy to be around and really makes the whole experience amazing. I get so many compliments on my nails. Edith has all different types of polish, pigments and designs. Lately I've been getting ombré polish that changes with the temperature of your hands (it's as amazing as it sounds!) but I've also had Edith do foils and other fun stuff. The products she uses are the highest quality and she does an amazing job every single time. She makes her own exfoliating scrub with all kinds of amazing ingredients that make your skin feel wonderful! I see her about every 2-2.5 weeks and I believe its worth every penny. Yesterday I went to the nail salon close to where I work. This place is spotless and the techs speak English. Diane did my nails and she did a great job. Because my hands are in water so much of the time, Diane suggested I get the bio-nail gels so they would last longer. I am so happy with my nails, both fingers and toes, they are beautiful! I opted for the red glitter nail gels which I now call my "Wizard of Oz" nails...they look a bit like Dorothy's ruby red slippers...truly a work of art. My happy place. Edith's salon is such a perfect setting for relaxation and pampering. I love the pedi chairs, the variety of music, the wide selection of teas offered to drink, and especially the buffet of gel colors!! I look so forward to coming in and visiting and having girl time. I've been coming here for almost 3 years now and will not go anywhere else. EVER! The girls here have heard stories of when I first met my husband, planned my wedding and prepared for my new baby. Thanks to other Yelp reviewers, I've finally found a fabulous nail salon. I've been looking forever for a place to get a good pedicure ~ without the annoying attempts to up sell services and without the fear of bringing home a nail fungus. And then there is the added plus of being in an English speaking salon. Dianne did my gel pedicure. I'd never had gel before and I love it! It's totally dry when you leave. No smudging, smearing or re-dos. They sanitize everything and use disposable liners in the foot tub. The owner, Edith, is just so pleasant and it's obvious she wants happy, returning customers. I was drawn to this nail salon after visiting another "natural nail salon". This wasn't nearly as natural as I was expecting however I was pleasantly surprised with the ambience of the salon. The owner, Edith, did my manicure and was very accommodating for me arriving late. I have had MANY gel manicures from salon A to Z in the US so maybe I have higher standards but I have to say i was a little disappointed, upon further examination, that most of my nails aren't painted on the sides. Even my boyfriend pointed out that it wasn't done so hot. I will probably be back, only because reviews for here are so high. I hope I was just a kink in the system. :) read more

I love going to Edith's salon for several reasons. Unlike most nail salons, this one smells really good. That's because of the biosculpture nails. I also like the fact that the manicures don't take as long as acrylic nails. When they have to be taken off, it doesn't hurt. You couldn't get me to go back to the old style acrylics. My own nails are all grown out now (something I've never been able to do) and healthier than they've ever been. I love having my nails done but dislike the process and atmosphere of most salons. This was an utterly relaxing experience as One look around told me I didn't have to worry about the cleanliness factor or being pressured to add to my requested service. My pedicure was flawless, the massage gentle and the lotion used of a much better quality than the awful pink stuff used in most places. I particularly appreciate the use of one way plastic basins rather than the jetted tubs that cannot be properly sanitized between uses. I bought a gift certificate for my daughter when I left because she needs to find out about this place.
