Absolutely best nail spa in San Clemente, great customer service, professional and fun and my nails look fantastic every time

It was my first time and probably last time here. Very disappointed and overpriced but I came to the conclusion that I was okay paying the price as long as my mani & pedi looked good for my trip. My manicure was okay but my pedicure on my big toe she put too much polish and didn't even fix it there is a big bubble and polish smearing on the side. Seems like the gel top coat was not done something that the polish on my feet especially are starting to fall off. I got the basic combo with gel which I thought was way too expensive and I wasn't even charged for there "combo". I was the last one there getting close to 6pm and was very rushed towards the end. Don't advertise that you close at 7 when you are trying to leave at 6/6:30pm. I was okay paying while still being serviced but then just became very rushed like they wanted me out. My services were not worth what I paid. Very disappointing. Should be redone properly in my opinion. read more

My review is long overdue! I've been coming here for years! They do such a wonderful job and are all so incredibly nice. If you see a bad review from a miserable, entitled, and rude young woman FaceTiming loudly complaining about how they messed up her nails prior to her wedding this coming Friday......It's definitely her and not them. Thankfully she finally left after ruining ALL of our experience. They were so sweet despite her abuse and gave her an appointment to come back tomorrow. She doesn't deserve them. read more

First time customer and won't be back. There's nothing I hate more than being nickel and dimed at a nail salon. Need your cuticles cut? That'll be an extra charge. More than one color on your hands? Extra charge. Want to pay with credit card instead of cash? Extra charge. Even if you pay with Zelle, they don't consider that paying with cash which makes no sense. I paid $140 for a pedicure and full set which, to me, is really expensive. Take care of the customer (especially a first time one), don't nickel and dime everything, and they will return. read more

The ladies who work here are very sweet. They do good work, keep a clean space, and are really transparent about pricing which is refreshing! Too often I feel like prices are hidden / inflated but they offer fair pricing without trying up charge you or sneak in extra costs. It's highly recommend to book an appointment! I booked for a powder dip ombré with nail extensions in almond style. IMO, watching the process was so mesmerizing. I didn't even realize that it took about an hour to complete. Kayla did an amazing job! My friend got a pedicure and I felt like they cut her toe nails too short. Decent nail salon. Ended up here after taking a look at other reviews in the area this weekend. Prices seem high but I'm used to the competition in New York City where there's a nail salon on every corner. I got a combo mani pedi with their beauty package. This included a 10 minute massage and my tech def worked out some knots in my neck and upper shoulders. That part felt worth it. In classic California style they were up to some strange organic natural products so my dip manicure came out kind of funky. When my tech was done there were still tons of glue all around my cuticles and stuck under my fingernails. I asked for an orange stick with some acetone so she could clean it up, but she said the acetone would start removing the all-natural ingredients in this special dip that they used. I asked for it anyway because girl I ain't going out here with all types of gunk under my fingernails. She ended up having to retouch a couple of fingers because of it. Worth it. Also worth noting my tech actually cut too deep when she did my cuticles and so my right left thumb was bleeding by the time she started putting polish on. Toes came out good. Again seems to be some strange natural product because the tech who did my feet told me I should wait an hour before putting shoes on. Girl, What?! My daughter got the kitty Manny pedi which came out really nice and they even did a cute design for her which she's in love with. People were friendly. Service was good, but I think if I'm in town again I would definitely search for another spot. Been getting my nails done for 30 years and never had anyone cause me to bleed from grooming my cuticles. read more

This was by far the worst manicure I have received in my life. I am not even sure if the young man ( probably a senior in HS) who did this work has a license. All my nails were different sizes, none of the techniques he used were anything I had experienced before . My cuticles were pulled out and now I have painful hang nails coming in. Besides that, the gel didn't even last a week. I will never come back here, especially when it appears the young adults working on the weekends probably don't have a license to preform this work. read more

I've never gotten Dip nails done before. I've heard it lasts longer than acrylics and better for your nails, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was also attending a wedding a few days after. I called scheduled my appointment and went in. Less than a week goes by (after the wedding) and I was just running my fingers through my hair and my left pointer finger (non dominant hand) just popped off! I was Slightly upset. Anyways, I went in the next day and explained. the lady at the front was able to have a manicurist fix it almost immediately. I'm appreciative that they did and didn't charge me, so I just tipped this manicurist who fixed it. I understand these services aren't guaranteed, but I appreciate how they were able to fix it quickly and very polite about it. read more

I went in for a gel manicure ($35) and requested an ombré nail. The technician suggested Dip, so that's what she did. It turned out very uneven and my cuticle beds were left very dry and flaky. The included picture was taken AFTER I put on cuticle oil at home! They charged me $55. I am absolutely okay paying a fair price for a quality manicure, but this manicure was NOT worth $55. The customer service is nice but this place is very overpriced and they're definitely trying to up sell everything. My 3 year old daughter was with me and received a pedicure that was advertised as $22 (way overpriced as it is IMO) and the technician decided to do little flowers on her toes and then tried to charge an extra $3 for the flower that we didn't ask for! My daughter also sat SO still but her pedicure looks an absolute mess too. The women who work here are very sweet but the actual services are way too expensive for the bad quality you receive. read more

Nice staff, unfortunately the mani/pedicure was one of the worst I ever gotten my nails were cut at different length some round some square. The massage was so gentle even after requesting to go firmer. My polish was like a two year old did it. Was extremely disappointed. Don't go here!!! Waste of time and money. read more

I have gone here the past couple years of living in San Clemente and loved it up until the last time I went in. I went in for a dip powder and pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was amazing but the lady who did my dip drilled THROUGH my nail and still charged me for an express manicure even though I got nothing on my nails. When this incident occurred it was extremely painful and the lady didn't look but instead tried to tell me it was okay and wanted to continue filing without looking to see what was wrong until I took a look and realized there was a complete hole in my nail. She almost did it to another nail as well. I believe it came from her trying to rush and using a high setting on the drill. I was charged still for a manicure which I believe to be extremely unfair as the rest of my nails weren't even buffed and are now all uneven. I won't be returning to a place who doesn't care for their customers. With that said there are a select few of amazing ladies just make sure you get their name and request them when you find them so you don't end up like me having to wait for your nails to grow out. read more

My son bought me a mother's day voucher for 100$ . It was a flimsy bit of paper and he quickly put it in his pocket it was May 11th 2024 at 5.50 I still have the receipt . He went to get the voucher on May 12th to find he had lost it . He went onto best nails and asked if they could issue another card for me but they said NO . Leaving me without a Mother's Day gift and my son apologizing profusely for no gift . I went down today with the receipt a man said come down to sort out . I took receipt he the manager hid in the back like a coward and wouldn't come to face me . The manager a woman now said we can not issue another Cheque as yours may have been used . I said well check and see . She then said she couldn't understand my English accent . If I have the receipt I feel they should compensate me and I have asked and left messages for the manager to call me to rectify . This was horrible customer service I could understand if I didn't have the receipt but I do . I have asked the owner to call me repeatedly to no avail just switched off the phone . Very cowardly . I found this place on yelp since I was in the area. I went in to get an acrylic set removed after two months of having them on. My nails were sore and weak. I was quickly sat down which was great but then my nail technician started using clippers and nail tips to pry off my acrylics. When I explained to her that it was hurting really bad and asked her to please soak them off, she told me not to worry that my acrylics were already almost off my nail (which was not true). I was about to leave when she finally got some acetone, and I thought the pain was over. I was wrong. She soaked my nails for no more than 2 minutes before trying to pry off my nails again. The manager then came up to me and proceeded to tell me it was normal for my nails to hurt when getting acrylics removed. IT IS NOT NORMAL!! Left my nails thin, red, and painful. read more

I came in for an acrylic removal and express pedi. Pedicure was good. The acrylic on my nail wasn't fully removed. I came home to cut my nails and I had to cut through acrylic. I was charged $12 for removal...so I expected it to be fully removed for the price I paid. Place also seems a little unsanitary. When removing the majority of the acrylic there was debri flying into my face. Won't be coming back but I'd recommend it as a quick stop for an express pedi. read more
