Paradise has been in business in the Dana Point Monarch Center since 2011 and I have been a customer of them for all that time. Their services are good and reasonably priced. It is kept clean and well managed. A manicure or pedicure is done efficiently and quickly and the massage is done with a timer device ticking away the minutes. That way you get not a minute less or a minute more. LOL While it's not the Montage or Ritz Carlton spa, it's a good place to walk in without an appointment and have a service. Some of the nail techs are good and some need more training so do your research on reviews of the ones that get mentioned with good comments. read more

Unfortunately, my pedicure experience at this salon was extremely disappointing. They started filing my heels without enough soaking my feet in warm water first, which is a basic step to prepare the skin and prevent damage. The next day, I woke up with extremely dry, rough feet -- and when I looked closely, I realized the skin on my heels was scratched and damaged. This was clearly due to unprofessional technique and lack of proper tools or care. I paid $80 for the service and tipped $20, which I now regret. The gals are pretty nice. The manager is great. The last time I was there the gal made mistakes at the end of the manicure twice and had to start all over on a nail. It took an extra 10 minutes. I asked that why use a very strong adhesive on 2 cracked nails to make she they don't continue to crack. They asked if acrylic would work. They put something on the nails but, they were both cracked within 2-3 hours. They charged and extra $5 to buff my husbands nail....Why? They saved 20 minutes plus materials because they didn't have to polish them! They push callus remover or they barely scrub your feet with the files. If you don't pay $7 for callus remover, you will leave with calluses. They won't spend a minute on them otherwise. It's gotten so expensive. It's just hot worth it. The service isn't what it issued to be and unless you pay for upgrades that you shouldn't have to pay for, you won't get a good job. read more
