Horrible. KIM wanted to do what she wanted and not tell me. I wanted my already ripped and repaired nail taken care of not more glue added. My nails are beyond weak. The lady at the front didn't want to give me KIMs name when I asked. This was my 3rd time leaving here unsatisfied. Unacceptable read more

Beautiful salon. Ask for Katie! She's amazing, I will go back just to see her again. My nails are gorgeous

I had the absolute best experience with Lynn for my Christmas holiday nails! She is so sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely such a lovely person to talk to. She made the whole appointment feel cozy and comfortable, and I felt so taken care of the entire time. My Gel-X nails came out absolutely perfect, and the design is even cuter than I imagined. I had a design inspired photo and Lynn made great recommendations and changes. You can really tell how much care and detail she puts into her work. I highly, highly recommend Lynn and I will definitely be coming back again! Katie did my massage pedicure, and she was incredible. She was so gentle and caring, took her time painting my toenails beautifully, and the massage was incredibly relaxing. I felt so pampered and well taken care of from start to finish. read more

Jackie at paradise nail at monarch beach plaza is my go to salon for the past 3 years. Great color selection Services varied Prices reasonable. Friendly staff. read more

Paradise has been in business in the Dana Point Monarch Center since 2011 and I have been a customer of them for all that time. Their services are good and reasonably priced. It is kept clean and well managed. A manicure or pedicure is done efficiently and quickly and the massage is done with a timer device ticking away the minutes. That way you get not a minute less or a minute more. LOL While it's not the Montage or Ritz Carlton spa, it's a good place to walk in without an appointment and have a service. Some of the nail techs are good and some need more training so do your research on reviews of the ones that get mentioned with good comments. read more

NOW THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE !!! Not just a nail salon .THE SILENCE IS SO LOVELY , no one talking in different languages and or English gossiping and saying things . ITS SILENT ITS RELAXING ! The staff is so well trained every little detail I usually have to ask them to do , they automatically do . They repaired my acrylics with hot gel which I had never heard of but came out breathtaking !!! My pedicure was not rushed and she did not hurt me at allllll ! I almost fell asleep during all of it . The chairs are really expensive comfortable chairs that don't hurt your back with the massage . The gals are so professional . The owner is beautiful and I thought well she doesn't do nails ... nope I was wrong she had a client herself and was helping the staff left and right . WHAT A GEM OF A BUSINESS ! They offer all kinds of specialty pedicures . I was so expecting it to be just like any other salon I didn't look at the menu . NEXT TIME I WILL . The lady next to me had oranges and roses and all kinds of special things going on . It was a step up in luxury , so is the price but not by much . It's worth EVERY PENNY ! Go go don't walk run . Take ur daughter or friend and experience this little special place right here in Dana point . It's hidden in the little monarch bay plaza by gelsons . Thank u for the lovely time ! I'll be back . My nails are perfect ! PERFECT ! Thank you TINA ( nails) AND CINDY ( feet) . I just want to add it is expensive but like I said worth it ! If you see complaints about the price it's because it is not just your regular little nail salon . It's an experience like I said . You must be open to enjoying it and seeing the reason it's so expensive . The products and service are exceptional and not cheap to buy . So keep that in mind ! And it's all CLEAN STERIL AND CARED ABOUT! read more

I feel I was overcharged and they didn't even thank me after I gave a good tip. I will never come back here

I've been coming here every two weeks for 11 years. For the second time, I had an appointment only to arrive and find every chair full with four of us standing and waiting. I walked out after waiting 20 minutes. Never again. Bye! read more

Unfortunately, my pedicure experience at this salon was extremely disappointing. They started filing my heels without enough soaking my feet in warm water first, which is a basic step to prepare the skin and prevent damage. The next day, I woke up with extremely dry, rough feet -- and when I looked closely, I realized the skin on my heels was scratched and damaged. This was clearly due to unprofessional technique and lack of proper tools or care. I paid $80 for the service and tipped $20, which I now regret. The quality simply did not match the price. read more

i had Lynn today and I love my nails! she was very quick and they look beautifu! Will definitely be coming back!

Everything about this salon is exceptional! The people are so sweet, so welcoming! And their work is perfection! I recently moved to Newport Beach. I've tried 3 different salons and NOT ONE comes close to the work here. I had my toes done yesterday in Newport. I HAD to have them re-done so I went back. PERFECTION! I'm driving back to Dana Point from now on. The best salon around!! read more

Paradise Nails - beautiful red she picked out for me... - Nail Salons Near Me - Dana Point, California

The gals are pretty nice. The manager is great. The last time I was there the gal made mistakes at the end of the manicure twice and had to start all over on a nail. It took an extra 10 minutes. I asked that why use a very strong adhesive on 2 cracked nails to make she they don't continue to crack. They asked if acrylic would work. They put something on the nails but, they were both cracked within 2-3 hours. They charged and extra $5 to buff my husbands nail....Why? They saved 20 minutes plus materials because they didn't have to polish them! They push callus remover or they barely scrub your feet with the files. If you don't pay $7 for callus remover, you will leave with calluses. They won't spend a minute on them otherwise. It's gotten so expensive. It's just hot worth it. The service isn't what it issued to be and unless you pay for upgrades that you shouldn't have to pay for, you won't get a good job. read more

I have been going there for more than a decade . The staff is always gracious and professional. I enjoy the ambiance of the salon as well.

I got gel x and a basic pedicure, and it was expensive!! 125 total, and the service received was poor. The lady who did my pedicure was amazing, I think her name is Katy. No issue with her at all that's a star for her she was so sweet. The nails however, the woman was slightly rude, she rushed because they were closing up while patrons were still there, they look bad, and I'm just not happy with them. Bummer to be that expensive and not that great. read more

The service here was fantastic! My nail technician was very sweet and accommodating. She let me take my time to pick the right color, and she asked all the good questions about how i wanted my manicure done. The cost was reasonable, the environment was clean! I have tried this place a few times but come out not that satisfied. Pretty much most nail salons are the same, I realize this. It just seems to take much longer here and the nail technicians don't really hear what you have to say. Meaning, I wanted sheer beige nails. I came out with white nails and said to her during the process that they were looking too white. She told me this is how it's supposed to look and that was that. I just feel a little uncomfortable, for lack of better words, most times-as if I am intruding. read more

Been here a few times and had a great experience. They did such a great job on my cuticles. This last time was not great. Toes were fine. But nails... hmm. She applied my polish, regular, then cut and attempted to file one nail while the polish was wet! Nicked the polish and then proceeded to add 3 more layers of polish to 'fix' it. Until I asked her to take it off and start again. Wish I would have tipped her after. read more
