I have been going to Studio K since it's opening and I love it. Kristina does a great job creating a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. I find it very private, as there is only one client there at any time and the front door is locked during my session. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. This did not feel like a professional massage in any sense. There were no intentional therapeutic strokes, no real pressure, and absolutely no sense of care or attention. It felt like random, light finger movements while her attention was somewhere else entirely. I finally had to confront her and ask what kind of massage she was even giving me. The entire experience was so unprofessional that it honestly made me question whether the person working on me was properly trained or licensed. I cannot verify her licensing status, so I am not claiming that she was unlicensed -- but based on the experience I received, I would absolutely want to know what her professional qualifications were. What made it even stranger was that after giving me what barely qualified as a massage, she still seemed to expect a tip. I left feeling 100% worse than when I walked in. The whole experience felt uncomfortable, careless, and deeply unpleasant. I wish I remembered her name, but unfortunately I don't. I'm sharing this because people pay for massage expecting a trained professional who is actually present and attentive -- not someone looking at their phone while absentmindedly touching them with one hand. For me, this is a 100% stay away. I would never return. I will say though I had a friend who had a different person that was excellent - but the consistency is not good enough and first HORRIBLE experience w a massage for me so it's a hard NO.

I was taken back by the Esthetician, Johanna, who explained the process before, during and after my facial to ensure I had the best routine specific to my skin. The Korean facial is a multi-step skincare treatment that gently focuses on deep hydration while repairing your skin's barrier. The goal is healthy skin with a vibrant, "glass skin" glow which is known as the Korean facial. There was several steps to this facial which is specific to your skin and needs, but generally it consists of deep cleaning, gentle exfoliation, a hydrating mask, serums, massage, and then LED therapy. I walked away completely relaxed with my face feeling and looking like a baby's bottom. I highly recommend Johanna when you schedule. It was great having a fantastic service and not being upsold, so Thank you for recognizing the importance of the full experience.
