No hustle and bustle, rushing in and out, crazy managers yelling at employees.. no guilt about if I am paying for a service that the employee is fairly compensated for. No awful acrylic smell!! I love this shop. It has taken me a year and 4 months to write a review because I knew her space was limited and I did not want to share my coveted spot on her schedule. Well I have had just way too many requests from passerby's, clients, and friends to keep her a secret anymore. Debbie is a true Pink Diamond. A rare soul who meticulously maintains your nails and inner peace just being in her presence. This is not a typical dirty shop with dozens of chairs and a waiting line of impatient people trying to get a $12 manicure. This is a San Clemente premier nail salon by appointment only for any who value high standards, quality workmanship, and a true relaxing experience for natural nails. You can be silent. You can chat. You are worth it! You will always leave relaxed and refreshed. I love my hour or so shellac mani's. That time with no whining kids or grumpy hubby. The laundry can wait. I seriously love that i don't feel like cattle. The pedi's last forever and for the first time ever my nails are healthy and growing! I also love how REAL she is. This person is sincere and values the time i take to have this service. She is a true Girl Boss and runs her place on her own. No rows of people. Just you, zen music, and a nice lady who takes your nails to the next level. I hope anyone who tries this great place out enjoys it as much as I do. This is my Sweet Escape.

WOW!!! It's been a long time since I've gotten my nails done & literally been SO happy with them!!!…read moreDonna is AMAZING & genuinely wants to give you exactly what you want. I told her I was debating on going back to acrylics because the last couple times I got Gel X at other salons the nails looked like they were set unevenly as in lifting upward from the base of the nail to the tipbasically like a cat's claw, but curving up instead of down. She assured me they should not & would not look like that. While she was doing my nails I noticed her do at least 5 extra things I've never had another technician do for Gel X. On top of that she takes the time to match up the length of each nail on both hands & shapes them to your perfection. I mean with how expensive it is to get your nails done these days I can't express enough how much I appreciated the fact that Donna doesn't just do the bare minimum, but goes above & beyond!!! THANK YOU DONNA!!! , Your newest regular customer Ps- This is to all nail salon customers in general because I've seen far too many entitled ppl just walk in & expect the royal treatment, but if you're someone on a time crunch & need both your nails & toes done at the same time plzzz make an appt & communicate that!!!

Stacey is an incredible manicurist. I initially found her through the CND website as I had been…read moregetting my nails done elsewhere but the builder gel/structured gel my former nail tech used didn't jive with my nails and I was constantly getting lift. I do better with a thinner gel like Shellac which I've always had positive outcomes with since first using it almost 15 years ago - if it ain't broke don't fix it! I'm also very particular with the gel removal process in order to maintain the integrity of my nails and Stacey does NOT e-file my polish off but wraps my nail with a cotton ball soaked in acetone to break the seal and then gently scrapes it off with an orange wood stick - zero nail damage! This is the only way that works for me. She guarantees no chipping for 14 days and while I could even go longer in between manicures since her work is solid, I don't like the grow out process so I stick to every two weeks. Also, her manicures are waterless which is my preference and she is not overly aggressive with the cuticles which is hard to find. So many times nail techs are cutting away the proximal nail fold/live skin rather than just taking off the dead skin. Long story short, go to Stacey!

The manager said you need to leave multiple messages with a very "detailed" explanation of who you are because she might not know if you are a stocker! As if she is running a brothel. Clearly I was confused man! But on this day I was by the beach in zen felt like continuing my peace.. ended up here (20mins from home) accidentally returned on a Sunday but there was a car show obvi very busy time to come. Came the next day letting them know my struggle if I could please get my nails fixed. They asked me to come back when the manager was there, I waited outside. Came back and she said it was too busy (almost empty) but it's ok can I just take my money and go somewhere else. She refused (just crazy I waited for this.. thinking they would have better customer service honestly that's why I waited. Instead she didn't take any responsibility, cared-less about making me wait.. wanted me to wait some more and refused to give me a refund) I was saddened by the lack of empathy when I called this lady 'humble' only days before. Forced to take half (not including my tip) it felt like pity money. But I have pity for the ones who don't care about customer satisfaction. What is the point of your shop if you only see people as money and not happiness, that is why they get their nails did anyway. It's a luxury. Had to go to the nail salon up the street BELLA and they left my nails 100x better. It's already been over 8 hrs. Can't say that about this sloppy shop. Oh yeah it was the 'manager' Tracy, don't let her near your nailsss. Girl has NO idea SHE LOLOLOVEEE TO ARGUE If I could give it a zero I def would. Product & customer service FOR SURE 99 cent store. I had a nail break as I opened the door can't make this up "Ultimately out of eMpAtHy and GoOd gEsTuRe we gave u 50% refund" AS YOU SHOULD HELLOOO As a manager it's quite embarrassing you shouldn't touch nailsss and stop wasting people's time. You are lucky to have a business and if you woulda fixed it in that moment or gave me a FULL refund you'd have a better comment. Not sure why you chose to sabotage your own reputation. It took 2 1/2 hours for them to complete it. And I had multiple gel toenails peel completely off within days. The most concerning part, however, was that she painted gel all over my cuticles, cured them, and then went in with the cuticle clippers to cut it off. She then cut my cuticle badly, I started bleeding a lot, and she was barehanded and touched the Neosporin tube. bare handed, slapped it on my blood, and repeated this process. I cannot imagine how many people's different blood is on the tip of that Neosporin tube and how many are coming into contact with others blood. Like I am horrified.
