I shop in the greater Seattle area but was happy to find a small natural grocer to support with organic ingredients. More expensive pricing but I'm used to that for organic. Lots of supplements too. There is a long hair blonde cashier, and she is the actual worst. I have got her a couple times, every time she literally rolls her eyes, huffs a breath when she has to bag another item and failed to help me pack my boxes. She alone makes me not want to go there. What a gem! I never expected to find such a wonderful grocery store filled to the brim with an eclectic mix of unique, healthy, and vegan options in southern Utah! The selection of vegan ice creams, candy, and proteins really blew me away! I couldn't help myself and really went overboard with the goodies. They seem to have nearly everything Whole Foods carries, but you can shop happily knowing your dollar isn't lining the pockets of a multi-billionaire (as far as I know...). The staff was super sweet and helpful. One request/suggestion: consider adding JUST Egg to your stock! "You're very lucky to be here" That is the vibe. Customer service is definitely not their priority. Some people there are very nice-Jim, whose in management ~very friendly, but I just watched a different manager barely stop what she was doing and speak over the line to tell a lady who was looking for a refund of a product that was obviously from here-that she had to have a receipt. She didn't move close to her to have a private conversation. She offered No apology, No quiet demander to try to accommodate the customer, just no kindness at all. Now it's kinda your only option in St George. Harmon's and Lin's have a few options and they're both great at customer service. It's just a shame...nice clean store-crummy people skills. A Natural Grocers employee answered "no" with total callousness in response to me asking for reasonable assistance for something requiring help due to my medical conditions. This happened in around 2021. I just returned to St. George and forgot about this until I went inside and remembered. I remember management having "Bar Rescue" type indifferent attitudes. Most of my reviews are positive on this site yet once in a while I'll experience employees who seem to really have a problem with people with med conditions seeking help. My values are to help people when possible. This store doesn't seem to share those values. read more

Rude, sarcastic cashiers. Some are nice but have encountered 2 that should be removed from interfacing with customers. Maybe put them in the back to clean or move inventory. All other grocery stores have super friendly, helpful employees. No reason to hire Karen's. read more

I really enjoy going to this store for several reasons. Excellent customer service, always willing to help or answer any questions that I have. Their produce is always fresh and well stocked. Huge parking spaces and not too busy. It's nice to be able to get in and out quickly. read more

They have better selection at smiths. They are inconsistent. The manager was very rude. I won't go into to detail but they discriminate. By far the worst experience i've had at a grocery store. Don't be fooled by the name of the store, they don't really believe in what they sell, if any of it can truely be called good. read more

Nice store. Small, but that's not why I give it a 3 star. I'm deducting 2 stars because the cashiers are really lousy every time I've been there. I've been here about 10 times on various days and times and the cashiers always leer and aren't friendly. Borderline uncomfortable. Probably because I look different from them but whatever. I'm still going to shop here until hopefully god willing Whole Foods opens up a store in southern Utah. The only exception to the cashiers is the Hispanic kid that doubles as a stock boy ( my guess). He was nice and friendly. All the others give a rude vibe to the whole checkout process. read more

O.M.G. I nearly peed myself when I saw this place. Coming from Chicago I've been a hippy eater and expected St. George would be hard on me. Driving by with my mother after a disastrous Wal Mart grocery shopping trip (I loathe Wal Mart with every fiber of my being) I spotted the sign and vowed I'd go there next time. Its heaven!!! Yeah its hippy, bring your own bags (or they have boxes and bags they'll sale you for a cheap price.) They just...have everything: fresh organic fruit and veg and meat, every vegan and vegetarian frozen thing you could want, hummus, vegan cookies, RUDI'S BREAD (OMG YES!) They also had my organic vegetarian poptarts which I didn't think they had after the first trip...but there they were (Trader Joe's was the last place I saw them!) YES! They also have a lengthy vitamin aisle (as they are owned by a vitamin store) and beauty section that made my burt's bees obsessed family weep with joy (they have EVERYTHING ever made by Burt Bees.) Basically its kind of like Whole Foods only with slightly better selections in a smaller space, and a vaguely cheaper price (just by a hair.) They even have incense and everything Toms ever made! My Wal Mart loving mother thought it was overpriced, but having been a regular Whole Foods and Trader Joe shopper let me say it this way: its a little cheaper than Whole Foods, more than Trader Joe's (I doubt we'll get either here in Utah ugh.) My only complaint is they carry a mild selection of Quorn brand vegan and vegetarian fake meats, more than Albertson's (who has chicken strips and chicken breasts.) They have those and the turkey and gravy. Quorn makes fake beef, and fake shrimp. If they start stocking the fake shrimp I'll love them forever. read more

We stop here often to stock up on organics for road trips home. They are not as big as Whole Foods... So, no bakery or prepared food bar etc. But, this is the best option for organic produce and natural packaged foods in St.George. Also you can find a wide assortment of vitamins, supplements and beauty items here. The store is always clean and have a pleasant helpful staff. (This is the last health food type store that I know of until you reach Las Vegas Whole Foods, if your traveling South) read more

Always out of advertised specials. This store never seems to be able to keep the inventory and diversity of products on their shelves. I needed something as majoram and they had none! This store is full of incompetent, utterly stupid staff who think being nice makes up for lacking basic customer service skills, problem solving and logic. This entire store has turned me off to the company itself with the lack of basic common sense this store is missing. You're not always right when your on the phone trying to describe a product, or trying to describe where it is; but when I can send my 4 yr old in with the same instructions I gave a lady over the phone, and she can find what I'm looking for but the lady on the phone could not possibly figure it out, then had her manger defend her saying it must've been a "miscommunication."??? Really? Then you special order a product, get a call saying they don't usually order that one, but it's a product with a tag, with a spot on their shelf regularly, and the store employee who DOES THE ORDERING claims to have had no clue - really? Are the essential oils killing their brain cells? I stick to Dixie Nutrition now. They're smart and nice. read more

I am so impressed with this natural food store. Based in Los Angeles, I have been to many stores, large and small, and this location has not only great selections but amazing prices! GT Kombucha the cheapest I have ever found ($1.99) and Merry's Miracle Tarts for only $2.55! Great deals on body/beauty products and supplements as well! And the cashier was super nice and genuine. A pleasant place to shop and the employees are very likable. It's a good store to go to for food if you're looking for specific things like vegan foods or humanely raised meat. It's also a good place to get supplements, and most of the supplements are not necessarily more expensive than other places. Admittedly I wouldn't buy capsuled probiotics there because they are twice the price of practically anywhere else for the exact same brand. But outside of that, there are reasonable prices. read more
