I discovered Dixie Nutrition through an app called "Too Good to Go".... which allows people to buy groceries/products that are at their expiration date and would be thrown out. I love the idea of reducing food waste and especially love the surprise aspect where we don't know what we will get. The store specializes in nutritional products, vegan and healthy stuff. You're probably not going to find snacky things with lots of preservatives or additives, much to the dismay of my Dorito-loving son. It's more of an "ingredient" store for folks who are health conscious. I'd imagine it gets slammed in January/February with all the new year resolutions folks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable-if you're looking for something specific, they can point you in the right direction. read more

Dixie Nutrition - Grocery Near Me - Saint George, Utah

What a great little nutrition/grocery store! If there's a vitamin or supplement you need they probably have it!! There aren't many groceries but they have the organic, natural and (for me) hard to find vegan items, lots is spices, and good snacks. I didn't go into the beauty/cosmetics area but it seemed to be extensive. Great staff and convenient location! read more

The absolute friendliest staff and so helpful! The store is well organized and inviting. Endless choices! Always a pleasure to shop here.

I love Dixie nutrition. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. I am from out of town and come every time I am in town. I love the energy of the store also! read more

I added a review for Dixie Nutrion in Cedar City, but I don't see it here. St. George may be the original location. I loved the visit, selection, and mainly the customer service with suggestions for bread and skincare from a clerk with the initials TL. I only wish I lived closer than 8 hours away! read more

they are always kind and have lots of great healthy stuff I love coming here it's a great atmosphere

I went into Dixie Nutrition today. They've got to be the only store in town without a mask mandate. There was 1 other customer in there...an old lady, no mask. What is wrong with these people. Clerk, no mask. Don't patronize a place that does not care about their customer's health. Shame on you! read more

Dixie Nutrition is a wonderful store with great people working there. I am a healthy person & only wear a mask if requested at the door. Masks are great if you are sick or have a compromised immune system to protect yourself. It will not stop that tiny little virus from going through. If you are healthy, by not wearing a mask you will build your immune system & save your organs from breathing your own carbon monoxide. Don't believe everything you are fed from the news, it's one sided. Act like sheep & be eaten by wolves!! read more

Great service is important and that's one reason why I choose Dixie nutrition. Friendly and knowledgable staff. If they don't carry something they take the time to special order it. Thanks, Greg your store is awesome! read more

Pretty good selection for the market they're in. It's a little on the pricey side, but a good store for organic and gluten free options. The service has always been excellent and the employees seem to know their stuff. There's a good selection for those wanting to get away from the heavily processed, mostly chemical foods. read more

Great store! Ive been coming here for years and they don't disappoint. Sure it's a smaller store but they have a great selection and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are my go to place for supplements and health food. They always the the latest and greatest, so if you are looking for new stuff check them out. read more

They have a pretty good selection of healthy foods and good products.. They do have really good Frozen yogurt that is a healthy alternative.. This is one of my go to stores being pregnant... I do think this place is a bit on the expensive side but I still like coming here for certain items that I can not find elsewhere.. read more

Great service and everyone is helpful , but the prices are VERY high. If you need something right now, its a good choice with plenty of choices. If you can wait and order it online from a reputable company like AMAZON, you will save over 50% and have it delivered to your door. read more

They have lots of health supplies and the prices are good. I can usually find what I need.

Love this store and friendly staff. Best yogurt in town. It seems the staff has been here for years and so they know EVERYTHING and can answer any of your questions. read more

Great staff that knows the products and readily helps find what you want. No out of date products on shelves. Great frozen yogurt too. Pat K. read more

As the only health food in town, not much else can compare. Smiths is feet away, but not the same. But why a frog?

Dixie nutrition has a good selection of organic and gluten free options. It's pricey, but I feel that is to be expected in an area like Saint George since we are fairly isolated. Everything I have bought is high quality and their frozen yogurt is quite good and a favorite of my children. read more

I like that I can find healthy vegan options right downtown. Good stuff and nice folks working there. Thanks!!

I've been a very longtime customer, watching the business go downhill. My last visit was the final straw. The kids hanging around behind the counter never offer customer service, only the older ladies. I used to enjoy the dole whip yogurt, however, I now am concerned about the cleanliness. The floor is always filthy. My last visit, had bags of open bulk food items spilled and on the floor. When I pointed this out to the lady helping me, she said one of the boys behind the counter was filling the bulk foods, that's why they were on the floor! Actually he was not doing anything except socializing behind the register with other young men. As I walked down the aisle, I noticed cardboard boxes of soda, partially opened where some soda had been removed from the plastic. All the soda should have been removed, stacked nicely & the trash thrown away. As I walked down another aisle I became so disgusted by the filth on top of the jars & cans of items that had been on the shelf too long, I walked out. I usually shop after 5:30 so the kids are always there fooling around. Maybe it would be different in the morning with caring staff, however it is so dirty I can't bring myself to purchase any thing there again. Part of healthy is being clean. The prices are higher than Natural Grocers & Amazon (including shipping) I like to shop local, but in this case after years of a continuous negative expierence, it isn't possible. Sorry for the negative review, but thought you should know read more
