You're probably not going to find snacky things with lots of preservatives or additives, much to the dismay of my Dorito-loving son. It's more of an "ingredient" store for folks who are health conscious. I'd imagine it gets slammed in January/February with all the new year resolutions folks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable-if you're looking for something specific, they can point you in the right direction.

Initially I really loved the customer service here. Some younger girls were working and not only did my pet love them- but I did as well. They were warm, helpful and outgoing. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.

I have recently begun the transition to a Vegan diet for several reasons. I purchased this product at a local store in the Los Angeles area (Vitamin Shoppe) and was able to pick it up for locally for just about $37.00. I really dig that Sunwarrior is 100% Raw Vegan and that their product is made in the USA. I dig the ingredients and it does not take a Medical degree to understand them. The ingredients basically consist of Raw Pea Protein, Raw Cranberry Protein, Raw Organic Hemp seed Protein, Vanilla extract, Salt, Stevia, Natural Fibers (Fenugreek & Konjac) & Medium chain Triglycerides. All of the ingredients are fortified from Coconut Oil=) The Warrior blend is also Gluten free, soy free, dairy free, allergen free and a non-GMO product, which to me is very VERY important. Sunwarrior's Warrior blends is a green product and in my opinion suitable for any diet or lifestyle, not just for Vegans. I dig the protein break down which basically gives you 15grams of protein per scoop. If taken once a day the 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) will last you 47 servings. If you want to give this protein powder a shot you might want to try shopping around local Health food stores to avoid having to pay the shipping costs directly from the source. I made the switch to Sunwarrior Warrior Blend from MaxPro Vanilla. I was really worried about the taste, I was worried how it would taste with the contrasts of flavors I have in my morning smoothie. Well after smelling it, tasting it and working out with it, I have to say I am very impressed. As long as I am on this Vegan kick I will continue to give this business and this product my business.

We went out of our way to go to this location as they had some special "dumpling squishies" that our teenagers "had to have," as this item was trending on social media. We called ahead and Harmons put two to the side and it's a good thing - when we went by a few hours later, these were the only ones left in stock! We also purchased some snacks for our drive. Staff was friendly, store was clean, and selection on all products was fabulous. I agree with others that this is the best grocery store around and worth a visit if you're in the area.
