I love the idea of reducing food waste and especially love the surprise aspect where we don't know what we will get. The store specializes in nutritional products, vegan and healthy stuff. You're probably not going to find snacky things with lots of preservatives or additives, much to the dismay of my Dorito-loving son. It's more of an "ingredient" store for folks who are health conscious. I'd imagine it gets slammed in January/February with all the new year resolutions folks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable-if you're looking for something specific, they can point you in the right direction.

I usually go in the evening and there is a manager , Tim Wilson, that is incredibly helpful and sooooo nice. if you go shop at SPROUTS you have got to try the Crooked Spoon ice cream and Tim Wilson REMEMBERED that I loved it and asked me as I was checking out...." got your Espresso Crooked Spoon ice cream" .... I was blown away that he remembered that I really really enjoyed this delightful treat.... Tim Wilson did NOT hesitate to inquire about me having my favorite treat.....
