This is a great pet shop with very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful employees! Last week I…read morevisited the Washington City shop in the hopes of "magically" coming up with a new and improved food plan for our 10 year old kitty. I was fortunate to pose my questions to Kat, who is the manager of the Washington City location. She is amazing! She addressed my concerns and questions regarding our kitty's current diet and made suggestions. We are transitioning our kitty to a raw food diet and I am so thrilled with the progress and improvements so far. Kat is so friendly, kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. I'm grateful to have this resource in our area so that we can care for our sweet furry family members in the best way possible. I highly recommend the Bone Appetit pet stores and particularly Kat, the Washington City location manager.

So let's start with the positives! This place is cute, clean and has tons of healthy options for…read moreyour pet. It also happened to be the only place in town that carried my dogs prior pet food (small batch pets). I started coming here weekly about two years ago. Initially I really loved the customer service here. Some younger girls were working and not only did my pet love them- but I did as well. They were warm, helpful and outgoing. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.

After experiencing consistent rudeness at three different Lin's locations, our latest visit was no…read moredifferent. We went to the St. George location on Saturday morning, January 31st at 9:30 AM. While the store itself is beautiful, the poor customer service persisted. My husband, who had a full cart including a corn dog, asked an employee in the deli for mustard packets. The employee immediately questioned if my husband was making a purchase. After confirming he was, the deli worker had to ask a woman in the back, who seemed unwilling to provide them. He finally handed over two packets, explaining rudely that people sometimes ask for ten mayonnaise packets. It was an unnecessarily rude interaction over a simple request, and we will not be shopping at Lin's again. We aren't asking for exceptional service, just a baseline of respect and kindness. Personal job dissatisfaction is understandable, but it's unprofessional to let it affect interactions with the public, such individuals should consider roles that don't involve direct customer contact.

Most grocery stores are basically the same. What differentiates Lin's is that they have a massive…read moreoutdoor smoker in front of the building, and slow cook about a dozen different meats, on a rotating basis. The meat is beyond awesome. You could do it yourself if you bought a $1500 smoker and cooked the meat attentively for 14 hours. For those of us who lack that level of commitment, You can just buy the perfectly smoked meats at Lin's
