Pretty decent and standard Walmart. Made a pit stop here to use their restroom as we were driving through for a road trip. The restrooms were pretty clean, and the store itself was pretty empty. This Walmart has a Subways in it, but the Subways was closed by the time we got there. People working here were friendly. The oil and lube center has very poor customer service. We went in for an oil change. They said they could work us in. We saw an hour later that our vehicle was next in line. It was then removed and put all the way at the end of the line. This total transaction took over three hours. They finally changed the oil. Terrible service. read more

I appreciate the fact that after breaking my femur/hip I can order groceries. Most of the organic vegetables and fruit are rather poor--but they're cheap. At least they haven't been sprayed with glyphosate. The store is smaller than their newer ones. The aisles are more narrow and the store feels more dated and crowded (in contrast to the new 4.5 star Bloomington store, a fairly wealthy area). My chief complaint is that Walmart doesn't provide their own delivery personnel; they contract with Spark. Spark drivers are mediocre, at best. They never read the directions for my delivery and I have to either go around to another part of the building to find it, or stand in the elements waiting for the driver. Staff is not properly trained to handle simple issues like a refund for a double charge. Many cashiers don't know how to do tax exempt on their resister. The "Team Lead," Carol, was providing me with misleading information that "Void" and "Refund" transactions are the same thing on the Walmart system. I was double charged for a single purchase, and she refused to issue a refund. The store manager is nowhere to be found during normal business hours , like at 8.45 am, except for their picture on the wall. I had to go the next day again and ask to have a refund issued properly. Total failure and waste of time. Proof that the Super Center Model of a store is a thing of the past. They can't staff it with knowledgeable people. Walmart is only fair which is disappointing because it should be the best store in the country. I use their delivery service because I broke my leg some months ago and can't make it to the store personally. I will admit, they've only screwed up twice: (1) an incorrect delivery; (2) and an order that was somehow internally cancelled. The problems can't be immediately rectified by the store; the customer has to go through customer service which is located in heaven knows what country. A customer should be able to pick up the phone, call the individual in charge of home deliveries and have the problem immediately resolved. The biggest issue I have with Walmart? (1) their employees should be some of the most highly paid in the country; and (2) all of their electronics should be state-of-the-art. Why? I stopped in here to pick up two things I forgot to bring on my mini-vacation in the St. George area. I can't believe that no one has reviewed this place! It was easy off the freeway to get here and then quickly back on so that's a positive. The store is laid out like any Walmart, so that makes that easy too! The 20 items or less aisle was a bit slow, but some people need a little extra time to swipe their cards and then sign the slips. read more

Everything you would expect from Walmart. This is an extremely busy location. Try and come on off hours. If you do come prime time you will find that it's hard to be Covid safe. There are people all over. Produce isle is the worst. They are always out of things that they should have always. What really makes it difficult to shop are all of their employees who are pulling orders for online customers. So many that they are in the way of shoppers. I won't say they are insensitive, but it's hard to bob and weave around them they're carts. One good thing is if you can't find something ask them. I have a love hate relationship with Walmart. I can't count the number of times I have gone there looking for something only to find the shelf empty. I recently moved to a smaller town and Walmart is really my only option for grocery shopping. It has been a difficult adjustment. The produce is marginal most of the time. Ethnic food selections are limited. Fresh onions usually rot within a week. Last week there was not a single package of bacon in the store, there were no green bell peppers and they had one, yes one, tomatillo. Winco, please build a store in St George. This Wal-Mart has been getting better over time though and has much more friendly employees at the Grocery Pick-Up. As a driver for Walmart I have never been Accused of stealing. Until this evening, all over a handheld vacuum cleaner to clean my Truck. The Person at the door was nice until this lady came out named Melissa walked up towards me in a threatening posture wanting to grab my receipt and to grab me. She tryed to tell me she needs to Verify all my items on my receipt. So disrespectful she acts like she runs the place and has no respect for anyone else. If I were rating the in store experience there would have been less stars for sure but the newly added pickup is an absolute delight! Makes the shopping process a breeze and when you check in when you're on your way through their grocery app, they have it ready to place in your trunk within minutes of your arrival. My dozens of orders have been accurate and well picked. The staff are friendly and seem happy to help. They have a wide variety of items and seem to be adding more organic and grass fed meat options which is nice compared to their old selection. I highly recommend trying the pickup. Most of the time you only need 24 hours and sometimes it's even available for same day pickup!! Try it, you won't be sorry! read more

FYI the parking lot was trouble. Left a SXS trailer parked while charging at the Electrify America Chargers. Some thief helped him or herself to a couple and fuel cans and a fold out table. I had the most terrible experience at this location dealing with a whole bunch of rude people who didn't like their job, so lazy and had the worst customer service ever. They have like 30 people worked there at night but only one person worked at the cashier register who didn't know nothing about the return/exchange at all. I didn't get the cashier name but she was the most laziest person on earth I've ever seen. I bought 6 Carmex chapsticks the night before, I opened one and tried it but I didn't like it so I took 5 chapsticks back to return the next night. The customer service was closed at 9pm so I went to the cashier check out. Waited in line for 20 minutes and when it was my turn, the cashier lady didn't even bother to say "Hi" to me. She just took my receipt and scanned as well as the items, then she couldn't figure out how to do the transaction. She called the assistant manager named Pam for help. I waited another 20 minutes standing on the side while she was helping the rest of the people. Finally Pam showed up looked at me like I was so inconvenient to her, didn't even bother to try, she said if the cashier couldn't do it then the items must not purchase from here. Basically she didn't want to do anything but being so rude assuming these items were not buying from there even though I had a receipt and 5 items were still in packaging (it's $0.99 each). As an assistant manager, she should learn how to do everything there and trained their employees right. She should not be so rude to customers. I love everything above Walmart because it has everything and conveniently open 24/7 but I totally hate to deal with the people there. They are not friendly and customer service is extremely rude terrible. Need a lot of improvements there. read more

They recently Put in new Cold chest freezers in the meat dept. Which have went down one by one. Okay not their fault . But they let their meat defrost , then refroze it. And then put it back in the store after getting the chest freezer fixed. Today we bought some chicken tenderloins that taste freezer burnt because of their mistake. We have been using the curbside pickup for several months now due to the COVID situation. Since Walmart has recently gone to a policy requiring face masks in their stores we decided it would be worth going in to pick up a few things that otherwise we would have gone to Albertson's for. After we went into the store we noticed that about 10-15% of the customers there DID NOT have masks on. What's with that? Apparently their policy is that you only have to wear a mask IF you want to. Guess what? We're not going back to this Walmart if there is something we can't order for pickup. BTW, their curbside pickup is great. read more

I understand they are trying to push you to self checkout. pay less staff to proc more items sold. But when customers have a full cart they don't want to process all their own items... Needed to stock up on supplies for the next leg of our national parks trip. As we all know, get near the park entrance and prices skyrocket. Between Yelp and Waze, we found this Walmart Super Center right off I-15. (I realize we are a bit unusual to be approaching Zion from the north). I live in Boston Metro West. So I admit I find the Walmart Super Centers enchanting. A full size grocery store inside my Walmart? What an amazing concept. So we stopped in. Fresh fruit. Salad. Cheese. Yogurt. And even fresh egg rolls for the microwave. Maybe it's me, (yes it is me) but I had a bit of trouble with self check out. I didn't even have to ask- an employee miraculously showed up and fixed all my self check out issues and then stood nearby- to continue to help me and my incompetence. read more

Why are there so many RVs in the parking lot?! How do people fit 7 kids in a Toyota Corolla? Is that a lady with a full grown mustache on a motorized cart scooter? These are some of the amazing things you'll see at this Walmart. Be careful as you turn the corner with your cart because people here don't pay attention and will hit you with their cart and give YOU a dirty look. But aside from all that nonsense, I still give this location 5 stars. Why you may ask? Well, it's the only thing out here open 24 hours. If there is something I need, 8/10 chances is that I'll find here. The aisles are fully stocked and it's not messy in comparison to other locations that I've been to. While walking down the aisle trying to look for my purchases I noticed there's nothing on the shelves How can you sell some product in a Walmart when you don't stock the shelves. As I was walking through the next aisle I looked around I saw a person trying to stock the shelves but unfortunately she was more interested in her phone and what was going on with the conversation she was having. products is sitting in the middle of the aisle.
