This is a good Albertson's. It was across the street from our motel, so yeah, it was very convenient. My wife wanted to do some shopping for necessities like water and ice cream treats, given the 96 degree daytime temp. I kind of hung back, being a reluctant shopper, and noticed a few things about this store. The store is very well lit, with even lighting throughout the spacious sales area. It is in partnership with Sav-On pharmacy, sharing the same premises and parking lot, which was more than adequate. The floral department is outstanding, the selections being beautiful, varied and of seemingly high quality. It is pretty near the entrance, and I suppose it is missed by many. The store shelves were wonderfully stocked and faced up, as though they never heard of the current supply chain issues. There was a sort of roving manager near the entrance who swiftly assisted any shoppers, especially those with typically dazed tourist faces. He seemed to be a real asset to this store. He was wearing comms and once in a while left his post to assist in other areas of the store. Bottom line, my wife found everything she needed (and more, as usual).

Accessibility: three motorized shopping carts, all plugged in, charging, at the front of the store when you enter. Wide isles, well lit inside. Experience: a good store but dang prices are up there.

    Packed!

It's clean, large, brite, has a deli, floral dept is packed with flowers and balloons, self check out, easy parking.... It was an easy in and out for what we wanted! The manager at self check out took immediate care of us when we needed to have assistance with our discounted item. Such friendly and smart workers here!

Costumer service sucks. The people working there make you feel like you're bothering them. Just go to smiths or harmons

We went to the St. George location on Saturday morning, January 31st at 9:30 AM. While the store itself is beautiful, the poor customer service persisted. My husband, who had a full cart including a corn dog, asked an employee in the deli for mustard packets. The employee immediately questioned if my husband was making a purchase. After confirming he was, the deli worker had to ask a woman in the back, who seemed unwilling to provide them. He finally handed over two packets, explaining rudely that people sometimes ask for ten mayonnaise packets. It was an unnecessarily rude interaction over a simple request, and we will not be shopping at Lin's again. We aren't asking for exceptional service, just a baseline of respect and kindness. Personal job dissatisfaction is understandable, but it's unprofessional to let it affect interactions with the public, such individuals should consider roles that don't involve direct customer contact.

We've spent hundreds of dollars at Red Mountain Market. Sadly, a few days ago, I was rudely confronted by the cashier, who I believe may have been the owner, Todd Muse. I came to the store to shop and ask a question about something I may have lost near the counter the other day (a pack of Hormel meals). However, no one was even at the register when I went in. Next thing I know, the cashier come sover and starts telling me I need to leave the bags in the front of the store. He then boxes me in and corners me there near the entrance like I'm some ruffian out to rob the place. I understand that businesses have policies to protect themselves from theft and loss. That's not really the issue. The issue was the way I was approached and made to feel as though I was doing something wrong simply by walking into the store with bags. I was treated like I was some kind of thief or a criminal for coming in with bags and looking at some protein noodles in an aisle of the store. I had come there as a paying customer, not as someone looking to cause trouble. And I can't shake this feeling that I was treated differently because of the way I look. That feeling became even worse when I read another review complaining about being treated differently in this store by an individual matching the description of the cashier because of a similar reason. I then asked about the item I thought I may have left behind a few days earlier. Instead of looking, checking, or even seeming willing to help, my question was immediately dismissed with, "Well, there's nothing we can do at this point." That really bothered me. I wasn't asking anyone to perform an exhaustive search. I was simply asking whether something might have been turned in or left near the register. It would've taken two seconds for the cashier to turn his head and look over the counter to see if my package of Hormel meals was still there. He couldn't even do that. It felt like he just wanted me out. So, I left. I left without spending another cent. And I never intend to spend another cent there. What makes the experience especially disappointing is that my family had become regular customers. We've spent hundreds of dollars there over the past several weeks. We specifically chose to support this small local business rather than automatically going to Walmart or Smith's. There were products we bought so frequently that we would joke that we were the reason they kept selling out. You know, if he hadn't treated me like that, I probably would've purchased all the protein noodles rather than ordering them on Amazon the next day. I probably would've continued to buy out the Hebrew National hotdogs and buy my wife the Red Button ice cream she loves. But no more. I don't expect special treatment because I've spent money there. I do, however, expect to be treated like a valued customer rather than with suspicion and dismissal. I strongly believe in supporting local businesses. But supporting local has to work both ways. Customers should also feel welcomed, appreciated, and treated with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable shopping at Red Mountain Market.
