I needed to replace few door locks and thanks to Ace Hardware, they recommended to call Natomas Lock & Key. I gave him a call and Mr. Bob promptly answered my call on a Sunday evening. We made an appointment and he showed up on time. He is not only honest but skilled in his craft. He gave great cost effective recommendations. The lock he originally brought with him didn't match the door color so he went back to his home to bring another lock that would look nicer on the door. Thank You for doing that at No Extra Cost. This gesture alone proved the level of care he provides for his customers. He told me it would take an hour to finish the job. He did a great job and I would highly recommend his services. read more

I have one of this weird (at least I think they are) European patio door locks and for whatever reason today it broke. Natomas Lock and Key was my first call and I'm glad! Mr. Danelz arrived shortly after I reached out to explain my problem, he had an idea within seconds of what was needed and thank goodness had the weird piece my luck needed. He got to work quickly and had things back to normal. He took the time to show me what had happened and even made sure I knew how to properly lock the door. If ever I have an issue I'm only going to call this company. Thank you!! read more

Natomas Lock & Key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Very fast response and reasonable rate. Very professional, and resolved my issue quickly and thoroughly.

So I locked myself out of the house without a hid-a-key. I had just got off work and really had to go to the bathroom. I called Natomas Lock and Key. Bob really went out of his way to help me. He was so professional and so polite. He was super easy going and I actually had nice conversation with him. It was like having a friend helping me out. I also love that they are a family owned business and the response time was super quick. I would recommend Natomas Lock and Key to anyone. read more

Used them ages ago when I had to kick out a housemate, and my landlords were fine with me changing the locks in order to protect us. Need their help again (decade plus later, same issue) and realized that I never left them a review previously. They were quick to get me on their calendar, knocked out re-keyjng three doors in well under an hour, and were able to make as many keys as I needed ... and the cost was reasonable for the time spent, and knowledge they have (seriously folks, you're often paying for knowledge ... a customer of mine balked at our $250 install rate for what they were told by the manufacturer would take "30 minutes" ... they called my shop after struggling for over 2hrs trying to due the job themselves). read more

Called them and was very pleased with his service. Bob has retired and another locksmith has taken over and he was equally competent and courteous. Prices have obviously gone up (service call $85) but he was fair and I am happy to recommend him. His name is Eric. Also has a locksmith business as Swanson and sons. Will use them again. read more

One our way to work and school, my son and I found ourselves locked out of the house and had to sit in the garage. Thankfully, I had my cell phone. Natomas Lock and Key was the third call I made (from the Safari search). Bob saved us! He was quick, fast, professional and an absolute God send. My son and I thank you for your promptness in our time of need. What could have been stressing was relieved. Thanks Bob! read more

I just locked the pantry door by accident. Bob showed up in 15 minutes and did a wonderful job. Thank you so much for your service.

We recently moved and needed our new property re-keyed. I decided to give Bob a call and scheduled some time with him. Pricing was competitive with other locksmiths that we called, but Bob was available and worked into our schedule nicely. He came and re-keyed 6 locks and even helped us adjust our strike plate for one of our door knobs. Bob was very quick and professional. Overall, we were very happy to go with Natomas Lock & Key and I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks! read more

Bob is a really nice guy. We called him this morning and he came out a little bit after noon. We were interested in adding an additional deadbolt to our door and he found them unnecessary. He stated that our doors were strong enough and he wouldn't add one to his home. What he did do to our current deadbolt lock is he reinforced it with longer screws so they are firmly in the stud. He did that with all the doors to our house otherwise he found that our locks were suffient and safe. He definitely didn't try to upsell us with additional work and only charged us for work that he thought was necessary. He isn't rude, rather he is very straightforward. Bob tells you what he thinks keeps his answers short and sweet. Would use him again if I ever had to! read more

I called Bob yesterday to rekey my homes locks. He was there in 3 hours. He made keys, adjusted lock sets and rekeyed my locks. Bob was very nice to work with. He fixed a lock that was loose and wouldn't close fully. I will recommend Bob to anyone who needs a locksmith. read more

No star if I could. I asked this guy about a "emergency key" for a bathroom door no name off brand just a basic bathroom door handle. He was one of the most ruddiest "business men" I have spoke to. If you don't have brand name don't call this he cannot give you any information at all, no help what so ever. Very NON informative. read more

I have had a problem with my backdoor lock for years. The lock didn't work, the inside bolt was loose and I had lost the keys years ago. I called Bob this morning and he came over shortly. He troubleshot the back door, cutting the bolt pin down to size and re-tooling the locking mechanism until it worked. He quickly addressed the front door, and now I have 1 key that works both the front and back door! Plus, he was nice to my cats! Best locksmith experience ever, and I have had quite a few since locking myself out of house and car was a frequent occurrence when I was younger! read more

Bob came to my rescue. Locked myself out of the house and he was able to come within 30 minutes to unlock my door. I felt bad for making him do it in the rain but he unlocked the door in as little as 5 minutes. Did not have to drill at my door or cause any damage. Best of all he quoted me on the phone and did not have any funky additional fees tacked on. He takes credit card and cash. I would highly recommend him if you are in the Natomas area. read more

I have gone through Natomas lock and key before to have them rekey my front and side garage door and put another lock on a bedroom door for $200. For coming out to my house this time, I was charged $50 transportation cost and to remove two keys that had broken inside the 2 door locks and to tighten scrrws on the front door I was charged $98.00 total. The cost to do these minor repairs seems excessive. . read more

Ever get your house key stuck in the lock and couldn't get it out? Well... it happens! When a new home tract is built, all the homes have a Master Key for the construction workers. The first time you use your key, the Master Key is no longer good for that property. What I didn't know is there are still some pins in the lock that can move and trap your key in the lock. I've been in my home for 16 years and this just happened. I called Bob due to his YELP! reviews and was not disappointed. He was at my house within 45 minutes and had the job completed in about 15. He was personable, reasonably priced, and I highly recommend him! BTW - just in case this ever happens to you... Bob said that the key can not be removed without going into the guts of the lock and removing those pins... and he was right! read more
