Steak burger with crispy potato wedges
Tristan F.

What an amazing restaurant at LAX! And the burger was exceptional by every standard. I think what makes it so good is that Native uses quality steak meat and keeps the burger simple, with some fried onions, cheese, and arugula. And the fried onions on the burger are not like batter fried onion but are more like grilled onions that are super dark and crispy. My goodness! I may choose Delta every time I fly, just to eat here.

You can seat yourself. The server was nice. Food and drinks came out efficiently and tasted pretty good. Portions could've been more filling and, of course, prices were higher since it's in the airport. The salmon rice bowl and steak were tasty.

Nice comfortable seating to eat. My husband ordered the breakfast burger melt with crispy potatoes. And we had a couple drinks. Brought drinks promptly server was friendly. Super long wait for food. If you're in a hurry pick something else. 30+ minutes before food arrival after ordering, Diabetics be careful with insulin due to wait time. Side note-Unfortunately was told can't have outside food purchased prior to arrival after already ordering drinks and 1 entree dish 2 people. Ordered a sandwich before my husband decided he wanted something at Native. Can't say I begrudge them because I wouldn't bring anything at a regular restaurant. I just thought it would be more accommodating at an airport.

Food came out quick and service was good. Food itself was yum but nothing special, and definitely overpriced. I like crispier fries but the seasoning was nice

Located in Terminal 3 near Gate 33, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made excellent recommendations for both drinks and food. I enjoyed the pork belly tacos an amazing combination of sweet and savory with just a slight kick of spice from the salsa. Definitely worth a try. Very low key great vibe for airport bar.

Native by Nyesha (by Top Chef competitor Nyesha Arrington) presents bold flavors right inside the LAX terminal. With a decent dining footprint and tasty food, it makes for a pleasant, relaxing stop in the normally chaotic LAX background. THE FOOD * Pork Belly Breakfast Tacos: These were excellent. The crisp pork belly and scrambled eggs were topped with fresh avocado, cotija cheese, and salsa verde. * The Side: The plate came with a stack of triangular, deep-fried hash browns, which were crispy and comforting. SERVICE * Special thanks to Nat (originally from Chiang Mai), who greeted us warmly and provided attentive, timely service throughout the meal. IMPORTANT NOTE Check your bill: an 18% gratuity is automatically included in the check. OVERALL A relaxing place to sit during a chaotic LAX layover, with tasty food and kind service.

Chicken Biscuit

Airport food is always suspect, but it's pretty hard to screw up a fried chicken biscuit. Let me start with the hash browns. They were actually thick perfectly cooked and some of the best hash brown patties I've ever had. I'd give them five stars easy. The chicken biscuit however was a disaster. The biscuit just fell completely apart. The chicken thigh was slimy and weird. The whole thing was just a complete train wreck. They do have a nice IPA and a beautiful counter to sit at and eat. They don't allow luggage at the bar unless it's under your feet. Which is kinda weird considering everyone there has luggage. You could sit your luggage against a rail behind you but it felt so insecure that I wished I had a bike lock to secure it. They do have nice beer on tap. I had a couple wonderful hazy breakfast IPA's. The staff was friendly and the service was fast I'd say it's ok to eat here but don't get the chicken biscuit!

Honestly, I'm so over airport restaurants. The price, the quality, and the service are all horrible. I ended up just going with a glass of white wine which was $18 and had automatic gratuity on the bill. This was frustrating because the waitress took forever to come by, it took forever to get my wine, and then upon closing the bill she gave someone else's credit card to me (and mine to someone else) - no apology.

This restaurant is a diamond in the desert of crappy airport industrial food at LAX airport . The food is incredibly well constructed and flavorful, presented beautifully and reasonably priced ( for an airport) During my 3 hour layover , I sat in a nice comfortable chair (instead of the horrible hard back breaker seats in the airport waiting areas) I had their delicious , buzz worthy Hollywood Hills Margherita and a generous bowl of their green curry corn chowder . Omg every spoonful was so delicious . I don't like junk food or fast food or anything mass produced . I can see and taste that a lot of care and thought was put into their menu and the dishes served . Every time I'm in terminal 2 I go there and enjoy the drinks and food,

I came in on a holiday half expecting for the place to be closed. It was open so I got an early meal here. I was able to sit at the bar area right away, which is my favorite place to sit usually. It's fun seeing the chefs prep the food and just seeing them do their thing. I ended up ordering their pastrami sandwich, which was so delicious. Scanning the rest of the menu I definitely want to come back here soon. And to try out their dinner service as well. This building is pretty large. Major win for Tomat over other coffeeshops is the parking. Most coffeeshops have horrible morning parking, but Tomat will never have this issue as it shares the lot behind the Staples. If coffeeshop parking ever feels like a burden, go to Tomat. While parking allows me to visit a coffeeshop, it still needs to be worth visiting, and Tomat is definitely worth visiting. The coffee menu has your usual suspects, but there are some adventurous lattes to change things up, i hope they keep things fresh with a rotation of seasonal drinks, but solid basics will bring me back regardless. I had an iced dirty london fog and a clarified coldbrew. Both were good. The clarified coldbrew is run through a centrifuge to remove fines and pariticles that cloud the coldbrew leading to a cleaner coldbrew that is less bitter and does not have muddy sediment at the bottom.

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were great too! I enjoyed the wine and champagne, which were smooth and not overly strong. A special shoutout to our server, Daniel, who did an amazing job taking care of our group. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Thank you for a great experience!

But there is street parking and a parking lot across the street. Since the surrounding area are all businesses, coming here after work should be easier to find parking. There are a couple of elevators that go to the top while some don't so read the signs there. Once you're at the top and exit the elevator, it does not look like a restaurant or a bar. It's more of a white empty room with a bar. Looks really makeshift. Walk outside and that's where is looks more attractive. There are areas for big groups to relax on a couch. There is also a long, gas firepit on crystal rocks. You can see the other pictures other shared of the beautiful sign. Unfortunately when I went the flowers were brown. The view was okay as all you're seeing are the other business buildings. Nothing wowing. But it's still nice to be elevated and outside. We had a couple of drinks (Birds of Paradise and Southbay Hospitality) and some fries and wings. Everything was delicious but at hotel prices. It was not cheap here but it wasn't expensive. Staff was nice. They leave you alone. No one followed up on how we were doing, which was good and bad. Drinks took some time and the food took longer to come out. There were a few big groups ending the day of work there. It took us awhile to get the bill and pay it. End of the day, it was nice. I would not actively come back but I would come if others suggests it.

What's even more shocking was that I was driving by a place that in my eyes deserves some special attention! So espresso martinis are a thing and this place came highly recommended for them so my sugar sugar and I said, why not?? We made reservations and left a bit early because based off Google Maps the restaurant is on the corner of Manchester and Lincoln but based off my memory, I never saw a restaurant with that name! So to clear the air, it's there y'all, you just have to slow down and look. When you walk in the restaurant is dimmed and it totally sets the mood and my mood was steak!! Our waiter was super cool and we appreciate his hospitality. He asked if it was our first time. We confirmed and he ensured us that we would enjoy our experience and enjoy we did! First - espresso martinis. It was as if the bartender read our minds...they were made to perfection! Flavorful and you can definitely taste the balance of the espresso and alcohol. I ordered the steak frites and sugar sugar ordered the salmon. We always try each other's food and we couldn't determine which dish was better. The salmon was baked perfectly and the side salad was delicious! The steak had just enough seasoning so that it didn't overpower the quality of the meat. I have never had a perfectly cooked steak in my life! Ruth Chris who? Maestros where? I don't even eat steak on a regular but best believe it will be at the Manchester moving forward.
