This definitely deserves then the three stars it currently has as it's raining! I can only imagine that it's been downgraded several stars because of the price, so not going to lie it is pricey. But it's also understandable given what it is and where it's located. This is elevated Farm to Table type cuisine and it's in one of the busiest airports in the nation so I'm not making excuses for it, but just be aware of that if you decide to go and don't avoid it because of the low star rating. That said, I had my travel meals reimbursed for a trip I was going on, so I had the privilege of trying it out despite its cost. I had the salmon rice bowl and it was delicious. Was it $30 delicious? I don't know, but it was definitely better than your average and Far and Away better than most of the stuff I would have been subject to eating in the airport. I'd love to visit again! read more

I like to travel and eat Ramen so when I learned I could get a hot bowl at the LAX airport I had to try it. Here is my review: Airport ramen. I have a personal rule against it, but the upscale décor and an Eater write-up calling this the best restaurant at LAX made me curious enough to break it. Here are the results. The ramen is terrible. The worst offender is the broth. A tangy, almost sour miso with zero depth -- this is not an overnight broth. It tastes like a soup packet dissolved in water, and I've never missed oil in a ramen bowl this much. Adding insult to injury, it was served with a silverware-drawer soup spoon. Unforgivable. The noodles are just as bad. Limp, stretched out, and soggy -- they remind me of instant ramen, except they haven't even absorbed the god-awful broth they've been sitting in. The toppings are the one bright spot. The chicken appears to be grilled and is probably the best thing in the bowl. The egg is flavorful. Everything else is a problem: the nori arrives fully disintegrated, the broccolini is 70% stalk and a chore to eat, and the candied jalapeños are a baffling addition that saves nothing. What we have here is a restaurant that can cook a decent meal but has no business making ramen. They failed on the two things that matter most -- the broth and the noodles -- and charged $29.38 for the privilege. Early frontrunner for worst bowl of ramen in 2026. 2.5/10 read more

What an amazing restaurant at LAX! And the burger was exceptional by every standard. I think what makes it so good is that Native uses quality steak meat and keeps the burger simple, with some fried onions, cheese, and arugula. And the fried onions on the burger are not like batter fried onion but are more like grilled onions that are super dark and crispy. My goodness! I may choose Delta every time I fly, just to eat here. read more

Food - had the roasted chicken ramen...it was delicious! Service- not so good- my server - Beth was not friendly or helpful-- just matter of fact ... the other male server brought my menu and was way more helpful and friendly...he said that his friend would be by my table as I waited .... My waithelp was nearby discussing another customer and totally ignored me....oh well... Did not initially notice the automatic 18% gratuity but left as is and actually erased the 20% that I was going to add! I was first offended but noticed the warning on Yelp! Food was great... other meals smelt yummy so a good choice if you are in that terminal... read more

You can seat yourself. The server was nice. Food and drinks came out efficiently and tasted pretty good. Portions could've been more filling and, of course, prices were higher since it's in the airport. The salmon rice bowl and steak were tasty. read more

Nice comfortable seating to eat. My husband ordered the breakfast burger melt with crispy potatoes. And we had a couple drinks. Brought drinks promptly server was friendly. Super long wait for food. If you're in a hurry pick something else. 30+ minutes before food arrival after ordering, Diabetics be careful with insulin due to wait time. Side note-Unfortunately was told can't have outside food purchased prior to arrival after already ordering drinks and 1 entree dish 2 people. Ordered a sandwich before my husband decided he wanted something at Native. Can't say I begrudge them because I wouldn't bring anything at a regular restaurant. I just thought it would be more accommodating at an airport. read more

Located in Terminal 3 near Gate 33, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made excellent recommendations for both drinks and food. Jackie was so kind and attentive! Great service and will be back again before a delta flight!

The food was the bomb!! Those korean wings were smashing and slapping. We only had about 30min to eat and we threw it down. The sauce went crazy and it taste so good. We had a later flight and there was only one server there but he did a very good job at managing the orders and getting everyones request in. I would suggest sitting at the bar seems like that was the vibe. We were in and out. I wish they had locations just out and about. read more

Native by Nyesha (by Top Chef competitor Nyesha Arrington) presents bold flavors right inside the LAX terminal. With a decent dining footprint and tasty food, it makes for a pleasant, relaxing stop in the normally chaotic LAX background. THE FOOD * Pork Belly Breakfast Tacos: These were excellent. The crisp pork belly and scrambled eggs were topped with fresh avocado, cotija cheese, and salsa verde. * The Side: The plate came with a stack of triangular, deep-fried hash browns, which were crispy and comforting. SERVICE * Special thanks to Nat (originally from Chiang Mai), who greeted us warmly and provided attentive, timely service throughout the meal. IMPORTANT NOTE Check your bill: an 18% gratuity is automatically included in the check. OVERALL A relaxing place to sit during a chaotic LAX layover, with tasty food and kind service. read more

Was about to order food and drinks here however I was told no outside food... normally I get that, but as they knew, I was planning on purchasing food at the restaurant as well as drinks - i had brought one small item from outside to sustain me as I have severe food allergies and have limited options when eating out, and their limited options for me weren't enough. Very disappointing. read more

Airport food is always suspect, but it's pretty hard to screw up a fried chicken biscuit. Let me start with the hash browns. They were actually thick perfectly cooked and some of the best hash brown patties I've ever had. I'd give them five stars easy. The chicken biscuit however was a disaster. The biscuit just fell completely apart. The chicken thigh was slimy and weird. The whole thing was just a complete train wreck. They do have a nice IPA and a beautiful counter to sit at and eat. They don't allow luggage at the bar unless it's under your feet. Which is kinda weird considering everyone there has luggage. You could sit your luggage against a rail behind you but it felt so insecure that I wished I had a bike lock to secure it. They do have nice beer on tap. I had a couple wonderful hazy breakfast IPA's. The staff was friendly and the service was fast I'd say it's ok to eat here but don't get the chicken biscuit! read more

Honestly, I'm so over airport restaurants. The price, the quality, and the service are all horrible. I ended up just going with a glass of white wine which was $18 and had automatic gratuity on the bill. This was frustrating because the waitress took forever to come by, it took forever to get my wine, and then upon closing the bill she gave someone else's credit card to me (and mine to someone else) - no apology. read more

Fun spot to pick up a few cocktails or a glass of wine before a flight. I didn't order the food but it all looked good. Outlets at the bar if you want to work and pick up a glass of wine. Service was great, my waiter was upbeat and energetic, always dancing to the great music playing. Wine selection was decent, appreciate they had both a sparkling and non-sparkling rose. Somewhat slower with the check when I asked but really pleasant service. read more

This restaurant is a diamond in the desert of crappy airport industrial food at LAX airport . The food is incredibly well constructed and flavorful, presented beautifully and reasonably priced ( for an airport) During my 3 hour layover , I sat in a nice comfortable chair (instead of the horrible hard back breaker seats in the airport waiting areas) I had their delicious , buzz worthy Hollywood Hills Margherita and a generous bowl of their green curry corn chowder . Omg every spoonful was so delicious . I don't like junk food or fast food or anything mass produced . I can see and taste that a lot of care and thought was put into their menu and the dishes served . Every time I'm in terminal 2 I go there and enjoy the drinks and food, read more

service was great! Waiter made recommendations based on what we told him and food tasted great too!

The vibe is normal for LAX. The menu appears to be a winner. I sit at the bar and wait and wait and wait for the bartender. Again, I wait and wait and wait for a menu. I drink half my beer and chill but I have a flight in 45 minutes. I placed my food order with the hostess eventually. This place automatically impose a gratuity of 18%. This policy creates a culture of "don't give a crap" about the customer. $50 bucks for tacos and a beer is high but what really makes it painful is the crappy Dennys experience for service. I'm likely insulting Dennys servers for saying that. Don't go to NATIVE, it's the worst place ever. read more

Eating at an airport always gives me pause- between the prices and wide range of quality, I try to eat before Ieave or pack something. But today, I was pressed for time and stumbled into Native by Nyesha. Uneeda was serving and seating, and from the first smile, I could not have had better service. I asked for a recommendation between the avocado toast or egg tacos. She recommended the tacos and she was spot on with that recommendation. The eggs were cooked to perfection, served on soft flour tortillas with an amazing green sauce. There was a generous portion of pork belly on top too! The hash browns were perfectly crispy and seasoned. I almost licked my plate clean! Moreover, my water glass was never empty, which was helpful since I was trying to hydrate to avoid jet lag. This restaurant has changed my opinion of airport food, and Uneeda's service was OUTSTANDING. read more

Ordered the pork belly breakfast tacos. I have low expectations when it comes to airport food so when it's out of the ordinary it really stands out.
