Located in Terminal 3 near Gate 33, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made excellent recommendations for both drinks and food. I enjoyed the pork belly tacos an amazing combination of sweet and savory with just a slight kick of spice from the salsa. Definitely worth a try. Very low key great vibe for airport bar.

This restaurant is a diamond in the desert of crappy airport industrial food at LAX airport . The food is incredibly well constructed and flavorful, presented beautifully and reasonably priced ( for an airport) During my 3 hour layover , I sat in a nice comfortable chair (instead of the horrible hard back breaker seats in the airport waiting areas) I had their delicious , buzz worthy Hollywood Hills Margherita and a generous bowl of their green curry corn chowder . Omg every spoonful was so delicious . I don't like junk food or fast food or anything mass produced . I can see and taste that a lot of care and thought was put into their menu and the dishes served . Every time I'm in terminal 2 I go there and enjoy the drinks and food,

5/5! Now if this was outside of an airport I wouldn't rave about it. We all know airport food can be dicey so I'm factoring that in and now having found this spot in lax I'll def be back to try other menu items

Chicken Biscuit
Steve H.

Airport food is always suspect, but it's pretty hard to screw up a fried chicken biscuit. Let me start with the hash browns. They were actually thick perfectly cooked and some of the best hash brown patties I've ever had. I'd give them five stars easy. The chicken biscuit however was a disaster. The biscuit just fell completely apart. The chicken thigh was slimy and weird. The whole thing was just a complete train wreck. They do have a nice IPA and a beautiful counter to sit at and eat. They don't allow luggage at the bar unless it's under your feet. Which is kinda weird considering everyone there has luggage. You could sit your luggage against a rail behind you but it felt so insecure that I wished I had a bike lock to secure it. They do have nice beer on tap. I had a couple wonderful hazy breakfast IPA's. The staff was friendly and the service was fast I'd say it's ok to eat here but don't get the chicken biscuit!

Honestly, I'm so over airport restaurants. The price, the quality, and the service are all horrible. I ended up just going with a glass of white wine which was $18 and had automatic gratuity on the bill. This was frustrating because the waitress took forever to come by, it took forever to get my wine, and then upon closing the bill she gave someone else's credit card to me (and mine to someone else) - no apology.

Really great breakfast experience at Native before a flight out of LAX. Friendly service. Loved the hash brown patties and generous bacon slices. Bloody Mary mix was good too.

Eating at an airport always gives me pause- between the prices and wide range of quality, I try to eat before Ieave or pack something. But today, I was pressed for time and stumbled into Native by Nyesha. Uneeda was serving and seating, and from the first smile, I could not have had better service. I asked for a recommendation between the avocado toast or egg tacos. She recommended the tacos and she was spot on with that recommendation. The eggs were cooked to perfection, served on soft flour tortillas with an amazing green sauce. There was a generous portion of pork belly on top too! The hash browns were perfectly crispy and seasoned. I almost licked my plate clean! Moreover, my water glass was never empty, which was helpful since I was trying to hydrate to avoid jet lag. This restaurant has changed my opinion of airport food, and Uneeda's service was OUTSTANDING.

I literally went for a drink while waiting for my flight out, and the bar tenders were awesome! Very friendly and fast service. Clean bar with a full menu available for dining. Casual dress code here as it is in the airport. I honestly love the ambiance and the large selection of top-shelf alcohol. Swing by, say hello, meet and strike up a cool conversation with strangers (I did, and met an awesome hotel owner from Turkey , and she was a blast to talk with)

Pork belly breakfast tacos

Ordered the pork belly breakfast tacos. I have low expectations when it comes to airport food so when it's out of the ordinary it really stands out. This spot blends Asian influences to traditional western breakfast/lunch dishes and the results are unique and memorable. The owner appears to travel often and get inspiration from those experiences. Definitely worth a try if you're ever in the Delta terminal and have time (and stomach space) to spare.

Native by Nyesha at LAX in Terminal 3 is the real deal! First of all, shoutout to bartender extraordinaire Daniel--I've been following his mixology journey since his CPK days in Terminal 1 (iykyk ). Honestly, I feel like he's my LAX son , and let me tell you, he absolutely spoiled me with top-tier service and incredible drinks. Delta Lounge may have played me with their "First Class ticket and Amex Business? Sorry, not enough" policy , but honestly, that rejection was a blessing in disguise because Native is where the magic happens. This time it was all about the drinks (though I've had their green curry corn chowder before, and it's pure divinity). Every sip was perfection--balanced, bold, and crafted with love. And the vibe here? So much better than any lounge. I'd gladly pay for this experience every time. Next time you're in Terminal 3, skip the lounge drama and make your way to Native by Nyesha. Daniel and his team will make sure you're taken care of in the most delicious way possible. Cheers to the best pre-flight ritual!

Pork belly tacos

I got the pork belly tacos. The green salsa is amazing, and the pork belly was tender and juicy. The portions are big, too. They're not your traditional tacos, but the take on it a great. Service is quick, and the staff were polite. Plenty of seating with a full bar.

Bud Light & Gin Sour
Ivy Y.

Nice place. Slow service. High prices. But it's the airport, so what can one expect? The gin sour was D E L I C I O U S. My husband beer was a beer. Nothing to write home about. I'd go again if I were in the same terminal. But I wouldn't go out of my way to walk to it.

The homemade bread with tomato butter was incredible, the salads are absolutely enormous and filled with the freshest in-season produce. It was very good, but definitely not the best bread I've had. The bread and butter, unfortunately, was the best part of our dinner. The salad we ordered was good and plentiful. Large enough for 3-4 people to share. Nice and fresh lettuces with a nice vinaigrette. The salmon crudo was also very good and we really enjoyed the "real" wasabi that comes with it. We actually saw them grate the wasabi. Aged king salmon and fresh wasabi, very tasty. The duck was another dish that stood out. Well seasoned and it had a nice sear on the fatty side. Unfortunately, the steak special of the evening. Was a total disappointment. The best part of the steak special were the sides that came with it. Don't come here for the steak! At $6 an ounce, I expect a tender well seasoned steak. Steak was tough, too fatty, and full of sinew. Not worth the price! Tomat, this experience could've been a lot better if the steak was better and the food came out warm. Although the duck was tasty. The steak and duck were cold by the time we got them. Kitchen staff should improve their timing and get the food out as soon as it's cooked. I saw our steak sit in the kitchen while the duck was being finished. I wish the owners of Tomat all the luck in the world. I hope they get their kinks worked out and continue serving their community. For me, I think it's probably a "one and done." Good luck!

The service was good, we went before 8pm Social Hour so it wasn't as busy and the servers were attentive. There were only 2 for the entire roof top. It did get a lot busier at 8pm. This place is super cute for a date night and a lot of fire pits and heaters made it nice and cozy.

No strong desire I enjoyed the vibes of the place, but the live music was a little too loud to have a comfortable conversation. However, I believe that having a comfortable conversation at a bar with live music is a contradiction, so no points lost there. My main issues with The Washington are as follows: 1) expensive 2) poor drink selection. These two issues are not independent as I am ok paying ~$20 a drink only if the cocktails are going above and beyond in some sort of way. For example, the drink has some sort of complicated syrups or uses some sort of unconventional technique that I would not want to replicate at home. However, you cannot really find creative cocktails here. And, on top of that, I also find a lackluster selection of drinks. I'm not entirely sure why there isn't more gin/vodka cocktail selection (I am well aware that they can make standard bar drinks that are not explicitly listed, but I am critiquing the lack of 'original drinks').

Server Álvaro is an actual SAINT at Saint & Second!…read more I want to start by clarifying that I went to S&S yesterday afternoon ready to cry major boo-hoo tears to my two besties, without much of an appetite. Instead, I ended up with a full belly and side cramps from laughing along with our awesome server, Alvaro. The Man. The Myth. The Legend that he is! Small Backstory: Last Friday I lost my job of almost 25 years in public education due to a complicated work accident (my back was broken & I now have screws in my spine) and I planned to whine to my best friends into a cocktail or two, and get out plenty of Kim Kardashian ugly-cry faces until it would be time to go home. Enter ALVARO! This kind man had the nerve to be polite to us! The nerve! LOL. He greeted us with a warm smile while my cold heart was practically making it snow. He explained all portions of the breathtaking menu when I had planed to eat my sadness. He even had the GALL to say if we wanted something not on the menu that he would see what he could do to make it happen! Here I was, ready to drink Unicorn Tears, and he was cheering me up! WHAT THE??! LOL The three is us started with the MEZZE PLATE. And OH LORD! I think we ate the print off of the plates while trying to get to the last crumb. We polished off a whole extra serving of cucumber slices in the process, by the way, and I'm not embarrassed to say that. The Turkish honey-sweetened labne was such a party in our mouths! Make of that what you will. Each of us got a dinner entre, with mine being the S&S Fish and Chips. I loved that the fillet was not overly battered and the chips had an almost double-Belgium fried taste going on. I couldn't help but swipe several spoons worth of aged-cheddar grits off a friend's seared pork chop plate. Now THOSE were some butter-heaven sent grits! My drink, that kept shooting partially through my nostrils from laughter, was a classic margarita on the rocks. No margaritas were injured/harmed in the process of my belly laughter. At some point towards the end of our night, a patron of the mall next door pulled the site-wide fire alarm, ringing through the whole location for everyone to use caution and head to the closest exit. If you grew up like my friends and I, you don't follow that suggestion unless you're trying to run out on the bill like a jerk. Bless be to Alvaro, he stopped by our table several times to apologize about the noise and flashing lights and explained the fire department was working on it. I explained that the Hood Cricket sound didn't bother us and we were happy to wait out the alarm. So not only did Alvaro provide us with excellent service, an outstanding meal, and generous smiles, but he also made sure that we felt SEEN. And THAT is what made the whole evening worth it. No sadness or cringey tears about a lost job were needed. It ends up all we needed was a server named Alvaro at Saint & Second to make my spirits feel high again. Pricing is a bit high but was totally worth it! Patrons were dressed business casual. Sound level, not counting the hood cricket, was mid and conversation was easy to have. Several televisions were playing different stations but no captions were provided. There is handicap parking available in the parking garage located just outside the front door of the establishment and no stairs or elevators are needed to enter. There are several entrances/exits to the available outdoor seating area and outdoor heaters are available. Glances around showed me that every patron I saw was tucking into their plates with smiles and were enjoying themselves. I have already made plans to return to S&S in another two weeks because it was indeed THAT GOOD! And for those fine diners that are wondering, "But what is a Hood Cricket?" An HC is a chirping fire-alarm that some of us are able to tune out with ease. You're welcome!

My compliments to the Spanish chef (you could really feel his Spanish influence in his food as well as Italian influence from his years spent living in Italy). This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that doesn't (or "can't") accept prepaid Opentable Reward cards - everyone who has an Opentable Reward card needs to proceed with extreme caution. Our server Josh did everything he could, but I believe the manager(s) could have done SOMETHING: they could have offered some gesture/compromise or at least come to our table to talk with us - to show some hospitality. Maybe I'm just comparing with my excellent managers at my restaurant, but I definitely noticed that at this restaurant. Regarding the excessive fees, the automatic 20% gratuity even for small parties is extremely excessive, I could see that possibly making some servers complacent - and that's not to mention that apparently there's another 4% or so wellness fee added on top of that. All in all, the server and food were quite good, while the management/manager(s) and fees were unsatisfactory. If you have an Opentable Reward card, go to any other restaurant.
