I went in today to give them one last chance to make it right and this was a big mistake and I will be reporting this to the BBB! I wish I could give no stars!! The service was so terrible it is unbelievable. The nail tech did not remove all of the previous gel polish from my nail then painted over it. He did not even cover all of my nail which meant once again I had to go somewhere else and pay again. The place I went to is no where near my home but I must admit the service is better. The pedicure I had was also terrible because I did not receieve what the package I paid for required. The total cost $95.00 and they had the nerve to expect a tip. I would have gladly given a tip if I did not experience this terrible service. When I went to them for the very first time this same package was $55.00. This nail shop is the closest to me which is why I was going in the beginning. I now have to look for a different nail shop or start doing them myself. This will have to happen at some point because something is going wrong at these nail shops. I will not be going back there ever again!!!! read more

i had a full set acrylic nails i had a whole nail come all the way off the tips were not put on correctly there were gaps between the tip and my real nail which mean water could between the two 5 of my nails were that way they were thick the polish was thick nails lumpy. i do not recommend this location they rush you through i used to use this shop stop going for about 1 year thought i would try them again big mistake . pedicure was ok. all this within 1 week .Very displeased. Big Kim is horrible. She caught the meat under my nails.I let her know you cut me mam and I'm bleeding she replied yes, later my big toe was sore. She is just rude and nasty. First of all employees talking amongst themselves loudly in their native language from across the salon is rude. Second, a deluxe pedicure with a two minute massage is ridiculous. Third and most of all to charge thirty dollars extra for gel polish (fifteen for nails and fifteen for toes) on a manicure and pedicure is absolutely ridiculous! My manicure was twenty five and deluxe pedicure was thirty-five. Yes, I should have checked before but I've never come across this type of insanity. I tried this place twice. The first time it wasn't that bad so I went back. They did a fill on my French tip solar nails. Came out very nice so I decided to go back. First the lady wasn't taking off my nails with clippers. Um no you better soak these nails. Then when she soaked them it was in alcohol. So I asked how does she work here and not know the difference between acetone and alcohol. Somebody else different continued with my nails, while not bad I prefer my nails to look natural looking. The powder is too thick and wide. Mind you these are my nails just an overlay. Won't be returning. Now when it's time for my fill I'm going to have to find someone to fix these things!! read more

At most of the nail salons in Ellenwood, the workers are rude and don't even greet you upon entrance. And personally, I just can't deal with that when I plan on spending my money somewhere. The employees at Nations Nail are nice and polite and that really makes a difference for me. I've been there twice so far, first to get pink and white fingers and white gel toes, and the second time a basic mani pedi. Both times I was very happy with the service. I wish I knew the names of the people who helped me but I know it was at least three different individuals so I'm certain that all of the employees at this salon are great at what they do. The prices are about the same as any other salon and they don't try to up-charge you without saying what it's for. I'm really happy to have found a good nail salon near home and I plan on going back very soon for a gel manicure. read more

Service was okay but when I left from getting my mani pedi my toes were not good. And pealed the next day. I called to come back and get a refund but they insisted on fixing it. I did not want that and they continued to try and do what they wanted instead of giving me my refund. They stated that they have a policy where they only fix the nail but it was not on the receipt and it was not posted anywhere. I told the manager if I would have seen it I would have understood but it wasn't anywhere. I came in very calm but they gave me attitude. He fought with me to give me a $30 refund $15 more than the gel polish refund, when the whole pedi was $55 because he only wanted to pay for the polish. read more

The technicians are rude and discourteous and speak to you in a condescending manner; especially, the younger, female technicians who are offensive and clearly seem to resent having to work there. I don't recommend this nail salon. They are extremely slow and their work is horrible.  I've been on 3 occasions and 2 out of the 3 I was extremely disappointed. Now I will never return. My last experience,  I told the nail tech that I wanted glow in the dark nail polish and because she was too lazy to find the polish she lied and said they didn't have it available. She got am attitude when I insisted on the polish and she finally went to get the one I requested.  Wednesday,  I went to get a fill in and pedicure with gel polish and on Thursday, all the polish on my nails started bubbling up and peeling off. I went up there and talked to the owner or manager and asked if I could come for the repair on Friday (today). When I arrived, I waited for over an hour to be seen while several people who came after me got serviced first, all to be EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!  The nail tech only used one coat and barely any clear and now the black is semi see through and not nearly as shiny as the silver. I spoke with the manager again and all he said was wait for a minute.  I expressed my disappointment and advised that I wanted a portion of my money back because my time has been wasted multiple times.  He refused to oblige my request and could only offer for me to continue to wait again for him to look at my nails. Nevertheless, I left the salon extremely disappointed and will NEVER return.  I plan on forwarding this complaint to the BBB and board of cosmetology.  It's time to normalize not settling for mediocrity and demanding better service because they don't hesitate to charge you top dollar for your service! read more

Y'all, this service is horrible. I have been going to this salon for the past 10 years because of proximity and after moving and experiencing quality nail service, I realized how bad their customer service really was. I went today and there was no point in scheduling an appointment because they do not adhere to the time. They get upset when asked to pull their mask above their noses despite the fact that we are in the thick of a pandemic. They complain when you ask for art designs despite it being a service you are paying for. After visiting a salon that values timeliness and customers' experience, I refuse to subject myself to this location any longer. read more

I have a last minute event to attend & in desperate need of a mani/pedi. I just recently moved to the area & was clueless about nail salons in the area, so I turned to Yelp. The reviews for this salon are up and down, but I decided to visit anyway because it's close & based on posted pics, the prices are reasonable. I must admit that this has been a better than expected experience for me from walking in to finish. The wait was short, the shop is quiet & for the most part, the staff is friendly. I was shown the menu to choose my services, which I appreciated; however, the tech was a bit pushy with trying to sway my decision. He was very good though, and I walked out regretting that I didn't choose a higher end service. This is definitely not a high end salon, but it suffices. Worst visit ever to nail salon. I arrived before they opened. Ruby completed pedicure and a child could have done a better job. Ruby proceeded to complete manicure and did a horrible job. The white portion did not reach the end of my nails. I asked for someone else to redo. She kept telling me to stop fussing and let her redo. I was quiet and she continued to tell me to stop fussing. The customer beside me was flabbergasted by her behavior. Ruby is the worst nail tech I have ever had. Come on y'all we have to stop giving them our money when they don't provide customer service. Nation Nails on Fairview in Stockbridge is one of the WORST Nail Salons in this area that I have ever visited over the 25+ years that I've lived here! (Because I was in a hurry, I decided to go to this nail salon). They not only overcharge you, (I was charged $105.00 for SNS on my nails and a Jel pedicure), not to mention 2 weeks later my nails and toes look like 'crap'! I told the 'Manager' who did my nails that his prices were outrageous, and I would not patronize his business ever again!! I should have ask prices up front, so my fault! After the fact, I did inquire the beak-down of the cost for the SNS and Jel pedicure since I didn't see any prices listed! I just assumed their prices were in line with most of the Asian nail shops!!
