This is the design I asked for
Toddie F.

I went to this place because it was close to my house, we got there an hour before closing. First off I can't stand how nasty these people are, they be talking big shit about people and just thinking we can't under them. I attached the photo of what I wanted and what I got, I went back and got so much pushback even though that man knew those nails was a mess. Yes I said they were okay the day before but she was rushing and I was just gonna pay another person to redo them. My personal assistant made me go back and make them redo them, but I still wish I had just went somewhere else. Now I know why they have a low star rating, as soon as you walk in the nail techs are staring at your feet tryna get their jokes prepared. And it's my birthday, that's the part that sucks the most.

Gel nails by jasmine

This was my first time visiting this particular nail salon and I'll say it was a good experience overall. I got there around 12noon on a Saturday so i was expecting it to be busy it was however i didn't have to wait for service. I received my pedicure from Lisa and i went with the #3 paraffin wax $33 and it was wonderful my feet feel amazingly soft. (Con: Lisa did try to pressure me into get gel polish for my toes but i was insistent on regular polish). I got a gel fil in with 2 half bling nails $36 forby jasmine and they came out super cute. The service was good and they took their time and gave quality service (which is sometimes hard to come by in a nail salon) i would definitely come back here Update: 6/12/19 this is about my fourth visit to the salon and first bad experience. I came around 4pm and they didn't appear to be overly busy but i had to wait close to 30 minutes just for my fill in. I was seated with John who I've never been to before and when i sat he asked what color i wanted and i said i had not decided and wanted to see the gel polishes. He appeared to be agitated by this so i asked him if there was a problem. His work was rushed and after he filed my nails he sent me to another nail tech for a polish with no explanation which i thought was quite rude. The experience did end on a good note as Nancy polished my nails and was very polite and friendly. Not happy about this visit and I'll be debating if I'll come back in the future.

This is a newer shop as they've been open 3/4 months. I decided to give them a try since I didn't care for the old place I went too. Pros: they have a lot of gel nail polish. Some shops are so cheap and have Hardly nothing! The shop is very cute and has a Venetian theme with chandeliers etc. It was clean and the employees were friendly. I paid $61 for a gel full set and pedicure. I had designs that cost $10. Cons: the price board says the designs are 2/$5.25 but the tech told me AFTERWARDS that my designs were $5 each. This irritated me, hence a reduction in stars.

Do not come here!! My nails were rushed. the quality of my nails looked as if a middle schooler did them. the polish was caked and not neat at all. I was as very polite expressing to them I was not happy and they gave me attitude and tried to shoo me away.

6 day old full set, lifting at the edge and cracking.

Do yourself a favor and save your money. I went on a Tuesday at noon thinking that the lack of rush would result in a carefully crafted full set and I was 100% wrong. The whole exchange felt rushed and frustrating. The feedback I gave regarding the poor shape and execution of design was met with hostility. $60+ wasted because I now must find someone to re do this miserable attempt at a full set.

I told my nail tech and the manager that I was not happy that they would clean up my skin around my nails. They told me my hands were dry.

This was my 3rd time visiting and I highly discourage this place. The first visit was great, I got a gel set. I went back to get a pedi and a fill. The lady INSISTED that I have the service she wanted to give me and tried to charge me after we argued about her not doing what I asked. She argued with the manager and I about what she thought I needed. I returned today to have a SNS manicure. I was there for over 2 hours and left unsatisfied. IF YOU DON'T MAKE A SCENE, THEY WILL BRUSH YOU OFF. AGAIN I TOLD MANAGEMENT THAT I WAS UNHAPPY WITH MY SERVICE AND HE SAID THAT HE HEARD ME, UNDERSTOOD ME, AND THEN MOVED ON! He said to use a brush to scrub them at home and moisturize.

Wax burn on my eye.

I've been going to Chan and Bay since they opened on flat shoals parkway. Initially, they had very good techs, but over the years the quality of the services has declined and the surcharges have become excessive. I recently went to get a paraffin wax pedicure and eyebrow wax, and the lady I had was TERRIBLE. She had to repaint my toes due to them being sloppy (I had to ask for the repaint), and she placed hot wax down on my eyelid and it BURNED my eye. At this point, I was just ready to leave. When I went to check out, there was a surcharge for debit/credit and for each service I received. My total was over $50. I'm not opposed to paying for services received, but I definitely feel that this establishment has become greedy. After this burn incident, I will not be returning.

I went to this nail salon on a "let's take a chance moment", I had plans and my normal nail salon was not an option. I went in for just a simple gel polish on my natural nails....mind you I only went be I broke my nail but my previous manicure lasted for 3 weeks, not chipping lifting or anything!! We are on day three and I have lifting and chipping. Not to mention...I have to get my full nail painted bc the tech didn't know how to do the shape I wanted for the french tip.

I'll give a star off the pedicure alone. I got my nails done, I got a natural sculpt with gel polish. Got them done on a Thursday, 2 days after my nails started chipping & peeling. By Monday I had lost a nail & today I only have 4 nails left. I won't be back & I wouldn't recommend

Went for the first time with my mother in law on12/2 and it was wonderful. I asked they made sure to clean my cuticles well for my pedicure and definitely felt the attention to detail. I wish I had tried the paragon wax but the hot stone was lovely. I'm very specific about my shape for acrylics (I always tell my nails techs skinny, coffin, very thin) and absolutely loved these. Dip acrylic full set with design on each finger. I wish I remembered my nail techs name she was very sweet, great conversation and her work is impeccable. If they hold up for the full two weeks I'll come back for a fill.

Paraffin wax! Felt sooooo good

Loved this place! Down to the timeless decor, diverse crowd, upscale setting, prime location and affordable prices! This was my first luxury pedicure but I will definitely be back! The massage and paraffin wax was absolutely amazing! It's kind of pricy but worth every penny!

Nail came off acrylic..
Emmie R.

This place is horrible it's not been not even a week and my nails came off the acrylic and they charged my so much 100$ for feet and nails . I usually pay that amount when I get my eyebrows done too. And they didn't even want to tell me how much it would be until I had to pay my nails are so ugly and not even straight. Don't go there go to Tk nails I wanted to try new places but I regret it I'll be going back to tk nails .. no more experimenting new places ... without reading reviews

Julia E.

This place is WAYYYY over priced to do such mediocre work. They charged $82 for a classic pedi and a full set, both with gel polish! They charge an additional $10 for gel polish with a pedi, $5 to remove gel polish on nails, $5 for gel polish on nails, $5 for nail shape, and another $5 for long nails. This is ridiculous considering these should all be included in a full set. The man who did my nails did a rushed job painting and shaping them (I asked for coffin). I definitely won't be returning.

Before my appointment, my toenail was not discolored, so naturally I was concerned and wanted to discuss the issue with them professionally. What bothered me most was the lack of concern or accountability when I called. Instead of showing care or offering any kind of solution, I was essentially told there was nothing they could do. I even asked if I could purchase a brand-new gel polish to ensure sanitation moving forward, and I was told they do not sell new polish and do not have new polish available for clients. If that is true, it raises serious concerns about hygiene practices and how products are shared between customers. I then asked if I could bring my own polish from a beauty supply store, and they said yes -- but that I would still have to pay for the service. While I completely understand paying for services, it was frustrating that there was no effort to remedy a situation involving a concern that may have resulted from their salon practices. Customer service, cleanliness, and professionalism matter, especially in businesses involving personal care and sanitation. Unfortunately, I left this experience feeling unheard and uncomfortable returning.

I was amazed at the beautiful upgrades and remodeling done to this nail spa. It gives a chic, modern bright clean atmosphere.. I was greeted warmly when I walked through the door and I was assisted properly and set up for my pedicure in full set. Everything was clean and sterilize. I love my nails. I felt relaxed. It wasn't super loud. It didn't have any odors and it didn't have extremely loud music. Thank you for the remodel. I definitely will be back..

I didn't but I knew the Kroger shopping center has been here for at least 30+ years and almost every Kroger shopping center has a nail shop somewhere within the development. We entered about 2pm on a Friday afternoon and it was pleasantly not full of people and there was no wait. She got her nails done and I decided to get a pedicure since I haven't had one in a while. The lady that did my pedicure was so friendly and funny. This location is a good 40+ minutes from my home if the traffic is on my side and I'd happily come back for another pedicure when needed. Great service, clean and pricing was just what I expected for a basic pedicure.
