Took a month to get the parts and two service calls but everybody was nice and it got fixed

The scheduler has a very nasty attitude. This was supposed to be a follow up visit to replace a part on my dishwasher. He gave a 7 hours arrival window and when asked to shorten that window to at least 4 hours, I was met with a very dismissive and condescending response. Very poor customer service. My warranty company was made aware and I was assigned a new appliance service provider with a much higher rating after we shared with them that this company has 1 star reviews across the board. The company's manager called me back and apologized on the employees behalf, but I would never allow this company back into my home after the way the scheduler spoke to me. Beware. What a waste! Waited 2 weeks after the initial service call and having to call them myself to see what the update was. Then waiting a whole day and they didn't show, I get a call that night saying they couldn't deliver because of miscommunication with the warehouse. I was like ok things happen. They came today and left the dishwasher sitting in my living room. The guy told my daughter he couldn't install it because I had animals and it affected his allergies. The other guy was confused and said he didn't know what the problem was. I called them back and the guy said to do another work order and they'll come back out and install it. We had a very disappointing experience with this service. We scheduled a dishwasher delivery and installation, but the technician who arrived was unprofessional from the start. He complained about having allergies and stated that our home was unsanitary due to our pets even though all of our animals were securely put away before he entered. I understand that allergies can be a concern, the way this was handled was inappropriate and disrespectful. Referring to a customer's home as unsanitary and refusing to complete the job under those circumstances is unacceptable. Many households have pets, and this should be something service providers are prepared to handle professionally. read more

My brand-new Frigidaire wall oven/microwave combo stopped working on July 5th. It is now October 19th and due to the absolute unprofessionalism and incompetence of Frigidaire and their repair contractor - National Platinum Services - we are still without a working appliance. I initially reported the issue to Frigidaire right after it happened and they scheduled an appointment with National Platinum later that week. National Platinum never called or answered the phone and did not show up for that appointment. I called to get another appointment on the books, this time set for July 14th. The contractor again did not show up. This time, he called after the appointment time to ask me what was wrong with the appliance. Instead of coming to my house, he blindly ordered parts based on our phone call. Those parts finally come in on August 7th and we find out he didn't order the right parts. At this appointment he says he will order the correct parts. Weeks later, I call for an update and they tell me they couldn't order the parts because they were backordered. At this point, I escalated the issue to Frigidaire, who said they had plenty of that exact part sitting in their warehouse, they had never been backordered, and they would ship the parts directly to my house to ensure they were received. Fast forward another week, parts finally received, and I get another appointment with National Platinum, where we find out the contractor didn't order all the parts he needed. He gets the unit semi-functional and tells me how to rig it up to make it work until they can expedite the rest of the parts and come back to install them. That was almost 8 weeks ago. I still don't have an update on those parts. So now here we are, almost 4 months later, still without a working appliance. So far, this expedition has cost me countless hours of time and energy, and for those keeping count, 26 calls to National Platinum and about a dozen to Frigidaire since July. read more

I called National Platinum Services in NJ on Sunday about my broken laundry machine and left a message hoping that they'll call me back first thing Monday morning. Nobody called. Then I called again Monday and left another detailed message. Still no call back... Today, Tuesday, I called again and again nobody picks up the phone and nobody calls back. Clearly this business is extremely unreliable with terrible customer services and very unprofessional. Keep away from this business. read more

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. The repair guy came with no tools. Was here till almost 9 pm and still did not fix my dishwasher. He had no idea what to do. Left my house a complete mess. I would not recommend. Then they said they fixed my dishwasher after and it's still wasn't fixed. Got American appliance in Bristol to fix it in 25 minutes. Zero stars would be a compliment. Needed refrigerator repair. all they did was steam clean something and leave. wouldnt take calls. would hang up when they did pick up and otherwise a message that said they were offline. when they were supposed to call they didnt. dont really understand how they're even on the authorized warranty list in the first place. better off going with a home town repair company. read more

If I could do less than 1 star I would. I dont typically do these reviews but National Platinum Sevice is the WORST company in the world!! They suck at communicating, they could careless about your issue, they won't call you. You'll have to call them to get your info. The main lady that works the phone is rude and they don't care about a working persons schedule. Very unprofessional. They will yank you around and lie to you! Horrible company they will not come out to see what the problem is they want you to send video and picture. they keep telling me I haven't provided proof of purchase or video which I have.... I think they need a new office staff and new manager because they do not know how to even dispatch the order. They haven't even showed up but I'm not impressed. I called manufacturer and they told me my repair date. This company is horrible. I've dealt with this kind of company before and they ended going out of business. I have already told manufacturer I'm skeptical about this company. I'll update if they show up. Most unprofessional service I have ever come across. I hired them to help with a drying issue and they ended up destroying the motor not wanting to take responsibility of their damage. when I wanted to escalate the issue I have been told there is no supervisor or manager I can speak to. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this service was exceptional. Our fridge started making noises, and Lowe's sent a technician from NPS to fix the issue. The tech did not introduce himself, cover his shoes, or ask if he should take them off. We did not get text updates about his arrival as we were told we would. I think I know what the issue is, but the guy didn't ask what our experience was at all. He just walked straight to the fridge, took out the freezer drawer, and put it on the wood floor, leaving puddles behind. He did not reinstall it correctly?! so I fixed that after her left and dried off the floor. I asked the technician why he was approaching the problem like he was and why he didn't do what I thought needed to be done, and he replied with, "I don't understand your question. As technicians, we have procedures to follow."(!!!) I speak clear English; he was unwilling to listen. I'm sure he was following procedures, because he spent no time diagnosing the problem. After he took the freezer apart and put it back together incorrectly, he left without fixing anything. THE PROBLEM IS WORSE NOW?! read more

Tech never showed up tried to contact the company, no return call. Finally contacted Lowe's & got a ridiculous text from National Platinum saying that I wasn't on the schedule! Which was a blatant LIE!!! I get mistakes & human error but this was beyond that! I've got another company coming today & will also post my experience & name the company as well. No quality work, said order completed and hadn't been here, and poor communications. Do not use this company. They are also called National Platinum Services. On caller ID it is ITS. 10+ calls, texts, and messages to get and recomfirm appt. Unprofessional, rude, send confusing texts, and inconsiderate. Lowe's contacted Platinum Service Company to fix our electric glasstop range with our Protection Plan Warranty. This plan is a good buy for appliances and we've never had a problem. From the start they, Platinum, were unprofessional to work with. They sent 2 texts 1) picture of GAS range , 2) text asking for Model number. I didn't respond because didn't know who they were. Then they called and appts are 3, 4 wks out. I expected that and she put me on "cancelation list". Got appt 3 wks out. Also I mentioned if could get another company sooner I'd use them. Same call, asked for photos and I sent. 2 days later got text saying that National had completed repairs. Another call to Lowe's - how did they complete when the haven't even been here. Called and got appt. Another day, got text saying "triage" received photos, and they'll call for appt Texted to the phone number Plat listed and that was kicked back. Left voice mail to see if appt still 26th. They took 2 days to call back. Yes appt still good. Texted Lowe's to get a different company. Was told this was only company we could use. In all of Raleigh this is only one? Plat called next day, we have opening 11-2. I have appt 1030, can we do 12? We have appt 11-2 (they wanted me to cancel my appt I'd waited 5 days for) to accommodate them. They called me 3 times during appt. Called back and had appt for Sat. He came. Laid tool case on hard wood floors. I moved to rug. Went thru issue. Told me I was using wrong pans, "it's in manuals". Apparently I'm supposed to use the double burner for small pan? IMO when I sent original pics, he had his statement ready and had no intention of fixing. From phone call today to Lowe's they've signed off as not covered. I understand this. BUT never again will I be pushed into using an unprofessional company like this. We've had 2 other companies here with Warranty plans and they were excellent. read more

National Platinum Service was sent to fix my dishwasher by American Home Shield Home warranty. The serviceman was very nice and said he had to order parts. That was in April. Its now August and I never heard from him again. The phone number is an answering service with the mailbox full. Now I have to argue with AHS to get them to send someone else to fix my washer. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. This company was contracted with SquareTrade, an Allstate Company that Home Depot uses for protection plans. They were scheduled to come fix our washer pump. Warranty company shipped the new part. The tech came out as scheduled and replaced the pump. However, that did not fix it. The tech said that there is a clog between the pump and the drain hose. He couldn't fix it because he didn't have a snake on his van. He said they would have to come back out, and he said he would let the company know so they could schedule another time when he could get the tool he needed. No one called that night or the next morning. I called them, and they did not apologize. In fact, when I asked for someone to come that next day, they got rude and showed absolutely no desire to work me in. I called my warranty company for help, but they could get nowhere. Tech was scheduled to come between 5-8p tonight, but they are a no show. I texted the tech, and he said he'd try to work me in. Stay away from this company!!! read more

My biggest problem with them as a company was that they closed out my service through AHS as complete when it wasn't. I had to continuously reach out to them to figure out what was going on. Then after finally getting a response, they booked me a follow up appointment over a week later and never called/texted to confirm and the day of my appointment nobody showed up within time frame, I called the company phone number, the number they originally gave me, and the last service techs number and never got a response. I then reached out to AHS and they couldn't get this company to answer them either. After waiting an hour past the 4 hour time frame given my husband had to pick our son up from school and the tech showed up, said he wouldn't wait 20 minutes for him to get home and left. I had to then again try to reach out to this company with again, no response, the next day I received a text message saying their next available appointment was again a week later and that's all they would offer. Absolutely unprofessional from start to finish and I will not ever recommend them or use again. read more

This company is a farce. I wasted a day waiting for them to come to repair my washing machine. No one answered the phone number given for my area and there was no way to contact the company's headquarters. I was able to get someone, finally, to answer the phone in a location that doesn't service my area and she was going to send an email to the headquarters. I never received a response. I would like to start off by saying that , I did not contact this company for service . I have an account with American Home shield who contacted this company for us. We made the order on 6/22 to get our freezer stopped working this is the one attached to the fridge . three days late someone from this company contacted us to ask for the serial number (which we gave them) two days later nothing , no call no show . we finally contacted the company to inform them it have been long enough and we need a freezer, They them inform s that the earliest they could come out was 7/13. If I could rate them a 1/4" star that would be my rating. There is nothing PLATINUM about their service. Can't call customers to let me them know they will be on the way. They apparently believe no customers have jobs and just show up to repair items that they don't have access to. We are not in the 1980's peeps! Most women work outside of the home and actually provide income to their families. I have called Midea and asked them why they would contract a service provider that has a "F" rating on all of their reviews. You have a cell phone to tell your office I wasn't at home, but can't use the same cell phone to call your client. Can you only call the office? Absolutely horrible. They came out in June 2021 to repair my dishwasher which wouldn't start a cycle. Supposedly this was fixed. Three weeks ago in September 2021, my dishwasher won't start a cycle and it's flooding water on my floors. NPS sent a technician whom I allowed to remotely enter my home. While standing in front of the dishwasher he calls me and states he won't diagnose my unit or fix it due to me not being in the home. My hardwood floors are destroyed and this company refused to come back out and stop the flooding from the dishwasher! Absolutely horrific experience. They don't care about making their work right.
