Told me it would take 4-7 business days. It's now 1.5 business weeks and I haven't heard from them. I've texted and called, can't leave a message because their mailbox is full. This time he replaced the control board, but insisted it was working before and it must have "just gone bad". Cost $250. Not only did this not fix the problem, the water and ice dispenser in the door stopped working. He insisted that I needed the electronics in the door replaced for an additional $150, but at that point I knew he was just randomly replacing parts. I had him put the old control board back in and of course the door functions started working again. I called a qualified technician and he said that the defrost unit he originally put in was not the correct one and likely the control unit he put in was not the right one either. In the end, the problem was exactly what I told him, the control unit was not cycling. It should have only cost $180 to replace.
