The Natarica Grill Restaurant may have a really small entrance and small sign, but once you get in it look much bigger and it gives you that food from home feeling. If you're Venezuelan you'll get it. And if you're not, you'll understand. The owners from Caracas care about their customers. They go up to your table to ask if everything is ok, to ask and get to know you. And not like a fancy restaurant all formal like manner. They'll treat you like family. With love. Like that aunt that always spoils you with that extra platano. Just lovely They have fress kolita. Bonus points for that.

I ordered via Grubhub and I am so happy! My first impression upon opening the box was that the food was packaged so neatly and nicely. My first bite was heaven. The tequeños are delicious. The dough is sweet, and a perfect pair to the salty cheese inside. I tried to order the guava and cheese, but they were unfortunately not available. Once I noticed that, as I got notified that a refund would be processing, I asked my boyfriend to call to see if they could substitute with just the regular cheese ones. I have been craving tequeños for days and needed them! They were able to substitute them, so that is what I received! My boyfriend is out of town right now, but as soon as he is back, we will get food from here together! He is from Venezuela, and I know he will love it. For my meal, I ordered a fried arepa with queso de mano + avocado. I had never had one fried before and it was a definite success! So crunchy and delicious. The Guasacaca sauce is so good I used it on my tequeños and my arepa, both! Can't wait to try more!

Tried out Natarica for the first time today. I had a go-to Venezuelan spot when I lived in MD, but this is the first one in Atlanta. Ordered an Arepa de reina pepiada and queso de mano o guayenese chachapa. Both were very good, fresh, and hit the spot! I was also interested in the patacon although I had never had it before. Opted for the patacon de carne. It was definitely mess but oh my so good! Big thumbs up: everything I had here was good!

Delicious, my first time trying an arepa or a tequeno and it was great. The staff is very friendly they even paid enough attention to offer me more spicy sauce as soon as my cup was empty. For everything I only spent about $9 which is great for lunch. I order the guava and cheese tequeno, the shredded beef arepa and a small salad.

Do try the arepa here there are several to choose from chicken, veggie even beef with cheese. The beef with cheese is a personal favorite. Go ahead and grab the napkins you will need them. Slow roasted beef that falls apart with a thick piece of cheese melted brings this sandwich together. There are four different sauces to choose from the garlic is a good match for this arepa. The strength of the sauce can vary a bit so know going in you will need a mint afterwards. If your looking for lunch or a quick snack check this place out. Know that the arepa are a bit smaller than others had but for $5.01 cannot complain and leave with a full belly. Staff is small and very nice.

Natarica Grill is a Venezuelan restaurant in Norcross which specializes in traditional Venezuelan breakfast/lunch dishes and street foods. These include arepas (corncake sandwiches), cachapas (sweet corn pancakes), and empanadas (stuffed fried pastries). The food is authentic, tasty, and affordable. It's made to order and served quick by a friendly staff. The restaurant is open only during the daytime, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. It's closed in the evenings and all day Sunday. The restaurant is located in the Centro Norcross shopping center on Buford Highway outside the perimeter (OTP). This strip mall is filled with many small to medium sized Hispanic businesses, including the restaurant Mr. Valdez (a.k.a. La Churreria). Natarica Grill is a casual eatery where you order at the counter. There's an open kitchen, small pastry display case, and self-serve fridges filled with various Hispanic beverages such as Inca Kola. The menu shows about 10 different kinds of arepas. You can even customize your own. There are assorted cachapas and empanadas. You can get a Venezuelan breakfast with eggs, an arepa, shredded beef, cheese, and coffee. Also offered are soups, salads, sandwiches, and grilled steak (carne asada) and chicken (pollo asado). Most items are under $5-8 each. I've tried a sampling of Natarica's menu and enjoyed every bit of it. This includes: Reina Pepiada Arepa - chicken salad arepa Pollo Mechado Arepa - shredded chicken arepa Queso de Mano Cachapa - cachapa filled with Venezuelan cheese Carne Empanada - beef empanada Tostones - fried green plantains Yuca - cassava root The Reina Pepiada is one of the restaurant's most popular items. It's an arepa stuffed with chicken salad and fresh slices of avocado. The shredded chicken in the Reina Pepiada is more tender and flavorful than the shredded chicken in the Pollo Mechado. Between the two, I suggest ordering the Reina Pepiada. At $3.59, it's a satisfying little sandwich and a terrific value. The cachapas are simply delicious. The pancakes are made with sweet corn. The Queso de Mano Cachapa is made with Queso de Mano cheese, which is a soft, white cheese commonly used in Venezuelan cuisine. The cheese is what makes this dish. The fried pancake as a whole is sweet and succulent. One cachapa ($5-7 depending on fillings) doesn't look like much, but it's actually quite filling. The empanadas are hot and hearty. The beef empanada ($2.50) has shredded beef inside. Its texture is a little coarse, but the meat is moist and savory. I like the flaky breading of the pastry, which thankfully isn't too greasy. The tostones and yuca are potato/fry-like sides. Tostones are plantains which have been sliced and deep-fried. Yuca is much the same way. I'd say both of these are harder and perhaps more dense than an American French fry and they have a lot more natural flavor. I think they are equally good and either easily suffices if you're looking for a starchy side dish. Ask for any special beverages they might have. Their "Jugos Naturales" (natural juices) last weekend was passion fruit juice. A little watered down, but not bad. They have espresso and cappuccino too. Service is great. The folks here work hard and with a smile. Natarica Grill is certainly one of the highlights of the area. Go order and share some cachapas, arepas, and empanadas.

Love Natarica Grill! I've fallen in love with Venezuelan cuisine and this place serves up some delicious food. Or favorites are their cachapas, empanadas (cheese, pabellon and beef). We also like their patacon, arepas and plates. We usually pick up to go and take it home to eat later in the day or the following day. Their sauces are pretty delicious too. We usually get extra. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

I had lunch at Natarica today with two friends; we had a GREAT time with some very good food. I have been a couple of times now and the owners/staff are SO nice and their food is quite good. The green sauces can be added and are spicy. I will definitely be back! Note: this location is in the middle of a strip center off Buford Highway and you really need to LOOK for Natarica as their sign is hard to read.

Not a professional in Venezuelan cooking but I thought it was not bad. The guy that took me is Venezuelan and he said it was not the best, just a decent restaurant. Nonetheless, it is alright. Portions are normal, prices are fair and taste is not outstanding but still good. The restaurant is small and staff was a bit absent but I want to think it's pretty traditional since it's clientele is mainly Venezuelan.

Cachapa! Not only does the word itself just make me happy (just say it out loud, you'll smile too), it's a pretty delicious and generously sized sweet cornmeal patty studded with sweet, fresh corn kernels folded around an ample serving of barely melted, soft, white cheese. One cheese cachapa here at Natarica would have been a filling lunch on it's own, but I also added a beef empanada, which is similarly huge and filled with at least six ounces of tender, moist but not fatty, shredded beef and then fried fresh to order. Topped with the fresh hot sauce (it's the dark green one), this empanada made me loose the capacity to speak coherently, as I just "ooo-ed" and "ahh-ed" over the deliciousness. With the cachapa coming in at $4.99 and the empanada at $2.50, this was also a pretty cheap lunch and a great value for the food quality. I also sampled (well, stole from my neighbors) tastes of the tostones and friend yuca, confirming the fact that anything that comes out of the fryer here is pretty fantastic. The yuca in particular was incredibly tender, sweet, fluffy and fresh. I also tried a sip of the fresh passionfruit juice, which was sweet and unique, if a little watered down. You order at the counter (but don't pay), grab your drink from the well stocked cooler, and take a seat, and wait for you food. You pay after you finish eating. Today we had a single server taking orders, delivering food to tables, refilling glasses, and taking payment. Even though we were a group of almost 20 people that took up over half their restaurant, she did a phenomenal job ensuring we all got our orders, and she kept a smile throughout. I don't get out to Norcross that often, but this spot is worth the drive.

Lunch combo #2: chicken (leg and thigh) with three sides: black beans, fries, and plantains. So good for $5.99!

I finally made it to one of Daniel B's UYE's! 37th time is the charm! #Yelp10firsts Anyway, Jose had already ordered the combo #2 when we arrived, and it looked pretty good, even though I don't like chicken when I'm pregnant. We perused the menu, and I knew from reading previous reviews that we had to get a cachapa. Seeing Vi's arrive helped with that decision. So I finally stepped up to the counter to order: 1 ham and cheese cachapa ($5.49) combo #2 - chicken (leg and thigh) with 3 sides - fries (crinkle cut), plantains, black beans ($5.99) a cheese tequeno for the toddler ($1.49) After taking my order, the server informed me that we'd pay at the end. So I walked over to the cooler and grabbed an Inca Kola, a Colombiana, and a bottle of water. Apparently, there are also juices you can order, but I missed that part of the menu. The cachapas came out first. Our ham and guayanes cheese cachapa was SO good. The flavors and textures of the grilled sweet corn cake, the salty soft cheese, and the processed ham blended so well. This will be what brings me back here in the future! The combo took a bit longer. The tequeno came out in the meantime, and it was nothing special. The toddler touched it, realized that it was too warm, and then wouldn't touch it again. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't something that I'd spend $1.50 on the future. The combo was worth the wait. While the chicken looked simple, it was so flavorful and tender. The black beans, though served a little too cold, were a runny, but again, such good flavor, particularly when you dipped the french fries in. The crinkle cut fries had just enough salt and texture to compliment the chicken and beans. The plantains were spot on - sweet and firm. I thought the service was good, especially since they are not accustomed to such large groups. The server who was coordinating everything even took the time to walk around the table and make sure that everyone either had all of their order or confirmed what they needed. Even with the wait on the combo, we were out of there in an hour. The cachapa is definitely worth checking out!

Good food with good prices and portions. Their lunch specials come with 3 sides and a drink! Their passion fruit juice is really good, and I would also recommend the grilled chicken (Apollo asado). The ladies here are really nice and if you don't know what something is, they'll either show you a fresh example or let you taste a sample if they have it available. The store itself is small, but generally clean for these types of places. Will most likely come back for lunch and recommend it to others as well. So far I've been here twice.

    So delicious!

Delicioso!!! Best dining experience of my whole trip. Food was delicious, service was impeccable! Not a great looking place; but I'm headed back for dinner!!!! I had steak with yucca (fried), salad, and carrot soup - yum!!! The pancha was a nice refreshing drink. And I have a strong cup to keep me awake at my desk - great meal!

While my review itself is a bit late, I do think about this place often because of how good the food was. I haven't had pepitos before, but this made an amazing introduction for me! From the outside, it looked like the rest of the plaza and didn't stand out much. Stepping in, it was surprisingly pretty cool and a bit modern with the lighting and walls. It was clean too. I would recommend getting a pepitos over the burger, though both are great. It's just easier to put away the rest for later because of how filling eating just half is. The fries were crispy and good for trying out all the sauces. And the sauces? Love the variety. The bacon sauce truly tastes like bacon and has bits of it in it. Corn is probably made with sweet corn, and it was creamy. Love the garlic. The honey mustard was good too. Cheese confuses me. It wasn't a cheese flavor I am more familiar with, and it wasn't like the cheese used in the meal. I didn't dislike it, but I also did mix sauces together, and I liked it better once mixed with something else. Garlic still is just great overall though. We ended with churros, which were pretty good. They drizzle lots of chocolate, caramel, and condensed milk over them, and while I felt guilty after eating so much food, I loved every moment. They give quite a bit, and we couldn't finish them all. Great dessert for sharing, and another draw to this place if you don't want a full meal, though I highly recommend getting food as well.

It was early so the dining room had only two or three occupied tables and no one at the bar in the back yet. I was greeted immediately and waited a short time for my order to be ready. All the way home I could smell delicious odors from the bag! I ordered Churrasco de Entrada which is grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and two sides. The steak was amazing! Tender, juicy, melted in my mouth. I had grilled vegetables and baked potato for sides. The vegetables were a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, carrots, and zucchini. They were cooked well and flavored with garlic. The foil packet of potatoes contained three small round potatoes also perfectly cooked through not seasoned at all. The meal came with three small dinner rolls and a few packets of butter. Everything was flavorful and delicious; garlic was quite strong though which I loved but might not be everyone's liking. I also ordered Alfajores from the bakery section for dessert. These are little sandwiches with soft shortbread cookies on the outside and soft dulce de leche and coconut filling between them. Four came in the box. This meal was at least two servings for me and it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to eating in the restaurant next time.

Most places around just offer the mini sized ones, so when I came across Los Maracuchos online and saw the more standard sized ones, we set out for an adventure. Driving up, we were a bit confused. We didn't realize at first, but it's actually located inside the Wyndham Garden Hotel. We parked and stepped inside, and walked up to the hostess/waitress at the restaurant. She seated us and showed us where the QR code on the table was to view the menu. We already had an idea as to what we wanted, so we placed the order as soon as she came to check on us. She was very helpful, kind, and so lovely! To drink, I enjoyed a papelón con limón. It was very refreshing, especially on this hot summer day. To eat (because we knew we would want to take things home as well), we ordered 4 orders of tequeños (4 come in 1 order), 3 cheese empanadas, and 1 cheese cachapa. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tequeños were cheesy and exceeded our expectations! Of course the garlic sauce that came with it was divine. The empanadas were probably the crunchiest we've ever had--so great and flavorful! The cachapa was perfectly balanced with savory cheese, sweet corn cake, and tangy nata sauce. So, did we find the best tequeño in the area? YES!!! We will definitely be returning to try more things! The experience felt very personal, she would approach our table, give us suggestions on her favorites (which were spot on) and was just a joy to be around. As for food, we ordered 2 Mandocas (fried plantains w/brown sugar + cheese). Delicious! I ordered a veggie quesadilla which had french fries as an accompaniment. The quesadilla had unique additions you wouldn't normally find in other establishments such as zucchini, squash, corn, carrots, etc. It was delightful and much more filling than looks suggest. My girlfriend ordered the Arepitas - Two white corn patty stuffed with shredded chicken or pork, lettuce, 4 cheese, ketchup and home mayo. She enjoyed it and also said it was pretty filling. For drinks, I ordered venezuelan soda (Frescolita) which is essentially cream soda + bubblegum. Weird, I know but it's fantastic. My girlfriend ordered passionfruit juice which was very refreshing. Our total (pre-tip) ended up being around 33 dollars which is great. We recommend trying this place out in favour of other nearby Venezuelan restaurants in order to have a unique experience and great service.

I am literally supposed to be on the way to the airport to go back home to Chicago, but here I am waiting for a 2nd order here! My favorite is the arepas with shredded beef, cheese, black beans and sweet plantains. (Though all the things I tried were super good.) The restaurant is in the back of the mall at the food court. Try this place. Also the white cream sauce, is like a garlic sauce or something, it's super fire!!! Get an extra one of those if possible. The workers are also very nice and friendly. Everything served hot and fresh, you can't go wrong! I'm a picky, finicky eater...Please believe me. All my family and friends tell me I need to be a professional food critic. This food is worth it. Sooo good. I'll be thinking about this place for a while lol

I came here with my Colombian friend that helped me pick the best options so I could get a variety of items that she rated top notch. I love hotdogs and had to get the Colombian version of one. It's one of the most unique hotdogs I've ever had. It's topped off with garlic sauce, pink sauce, pineapple marmalade, crushed chips, mozzarella, and a boiled quail egg. Omg it's one of the BEST I've ever had! I died and went to culinary heaven. Trust me get one! We also ordered the empanadas, which were just as good. Among the other items we ordered we got a cheese and ham arepa, as well as the bandeja paisa. No complaints here but just praises as the food was savory and scrumptious! They do have a full bar with a variety of drinks to choose from as well as Colombian beers. I was too full to indulge on the desserts but the dessert bar was esthetically pleasing and smelled incredible! The service is great, very attentive. The restaurant gave a homey and cozy vibes. Dress code is casual. They do have complimentary parking. I am definitely coming back to enjoy and try more of the exotic plates they offer. It's not often you see Colombian cuisine, worth a visit!
