I emailed them and finally someone named "Joe" replied back saying that the manufacturer discontinued the item. Um....okay, so why didnt anyone call and let me know. He emailed me back a black and white xeroxed faded photo of what the manufacturer now offers except that it was the wrong sized vanity I was looking for! When I called to speak with him, he was extremely rude and cut me off..I told him to cancel my order which he agreed to do. Stated he would send me a cancellation/refund confirmation and I didnt get it until I again had to email and ask for it. Terrible customer service, I ended up calling discount bathroom vanities who were wayyy nicer and were able to sell me the same vanity that was supposedly discontinued!

Glendale lumber epitomizes the single store operation that has been handed down from generation to generation,. Its sad to see so many fall by the wayside and heartwarming to see those businesses that have remained. I had my stairs to the basement rebuilt this week, first instructions to him were to use Glendale Lumber for all materials. I did this knowing full well his reply would be that they are more expensive than Home depot. I am not a rich man, but I will pay extra to a local family run business, always have and always will. The blond oak planks were cut and ripped to my specific needs at no additional cost. Quality of the wood was excellent, no knots, straight and not dinged up in any way. "Back up your vehicle into the garage as to not get a ticket at the hydrant" was the advice of the workers, who accommodated my contractor by loading up the material and attaching a red plastic flag to the end, for visual warning to drivers behind his truck.

I have to move in a couple weeks. I need boxes in which to put stuff so I can have my stuff at my…read morenew place. I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. If you want quick, efficient service and if you want to get your supplies to pack and move in an instant, go to suppliesformoving.com.* ________________________ * If all of the bottoms of the boxes break while moving, damaging all of my kids' toys and my valuable possessions, I reserve the right to come back and be extremely agitated.

5,000 Miles for a Soap Pump? Worth It!…read more When our soap dispenser pump broke, my better half was ready to throw in the towel and order a whole new unit. But after a little research, she discovered a replacement part existed--and a supplier in New York City had 15 of them in stock. So, what did we do? We packed our bags and flew nearly 5,000 miles from Hawaii to the Big Apple to track it down! Straight after landing at JFK and dropping our bags at the hotel, we headed right over to the shop. The employee who helped us was incredibly friendly. When we told him what we needed, he disappeared into the back and emerged with the part. Since we were there, I suggested we get another one, just in case this one breaks or worse yet, it doesn't work. We were bummed because that was the last one they had (yup they sold 14 in two days). Just glad that we got one and that it worked. If these guys don't have the part you are looking for, I don't where else you would go, as they have literally thousands upon thousands of parts here. BTW, I was only joking as we came to NYC for more than just this part.

Buyer Beware. I…read moreordered a replacement part for my Grohe faucet that cost over $200. After testing the part, I found that it did not resolve the issue. When I contacted the company to request a return, they denied it. Their reason was that because the part had been used for testing and water had passed through it, it could not be returned or resold. I find this policy very frustrating. How is a customer supposed to determine whether a replacement plumbing part works without actually testing it? I am now left with an expensive part that did not solve my problem and cannot be returned. While the company may be following its policy, customers should be aware of this before making a purchase. Be sure to carefully review the return policy before ordering, especially for high-cost replacement parts. In my experience, if the part does not work for your situation, you may be stuck with it regardless of the outcome.

I went to many different store (big and small) and found them to be the best price vs quality (real wood cabinets). I had them put the cabinets together for a small fee and my contractor install them. They delivered them with no scratches or dents and they were ready to be installed. I then decided to get my countertops from them, for 3 kitchens, all measured by them. I decided to get their sink/drain also since the drain was a real unique one (you have to see it to believe it). They were all different colors and sizes. Several pieces were very custom. The installers worked hard and knew what to do on the funky walls (not flush) plus one piece was cut wrong and while I would have kept it they insisted on replacing the piece with a perfect one. Within 48 hours the new replacement piece was installed perfectly and the installer, who was amazing, even helped me do a new piece including building a bracket for it. I would use them again, as I started the review off, great price/quality.
