A hidden gem! This place is off the beaten path, but my husband ALWAYS wants to try gyro and Greek places ... this small but modern restaurant is awesome. Their family-run atmosphere and homemade noms are definitely worth checking out. We tried a little of everything and had tons of leftovers! Our daughter loved the soup, and she very much enjoyed the gyro meat. Their service is excellent, being friendly and warm, even though we were the only customers at the time. Bringing the food to our table, chatting with us about the food, and checking in on us halfway to make sure we were good. Had an itching for a gyro salad for lunch and for some daft reason,lentil soup (only 88 degrees).Temperature inside wasn't much cooler,to my partners chagrin.The soup was disappointing.Lacked the flavour of say,an Indian lentil soup.But the salad!No problem.Generous portion of lamb/beef gyro meet and fresh lettuce,tomato,cucumber etc.Grape leaves were also very good.This is a small cafe with maybe eight tables.A lot of the business is takeaway. No alcohol,just soft drinks.I've been coming here for years...definitely one of the best Mediterranean style food establishments in the area.Just a little language barrier with the staff but they were genuinely keen to know if we enjoyed our meal,which is a nice touch. read more

Cane here for lunch with my wife. We had beef and lamb gyros with Greek fries and regular fries. Gyros were spot on. Great flavor the wife really loved the Greek fries. The service was very good. The young man that greeted us was very friendly. It's a nice little place the walls are painted with what I'm thinking is a Greek village scene. Wow oh wow this was so amazing it felt like a mother's love cooked it Such a generous helping, enough salad to go with every bite! Delicious vinaigrette salad dressing too. I also love the 8 olives that came with my plate, a good palette refresher. Not pictured is the gyro which was so amazing, the best gyro me and my fiancé ever tried! I love all the seasoning and the sauce that came with the kubeh paired together really well; like a mild oil and balsamic flavor almost. We've been regular takeout customers here for about 4 years now. It's almost always been the Greek salad with gyro meat. Tonight was likely the last time we order from Narrows Gyro. The salad was half the size of normal. Mine was missing olives. There was also a new flavor, and by the time we were a few bites in, we realized they'd been doused with lemon juice. There was more than a tablespoon left in the bottom of the container for each of us when we finished. A salad that normally leaves us struggling to finish left us both unsatisfied. It had half the meat it normally did, but also, there was barely any lettuce! On a salad!? Lettuce is cheap. It probably would have helped to fill us up more. The salad used to be a good value for $16. Now it's severely over-priced. It's about an $8 salad. As restaurants and businesses continue to raise prices and decrease quality, we just give those things up. As it is, we only order takeout 1-2 times a month. This used to be a place we could rely on - reasonably healthy and a good value. Now I wouldn't trust that anything on their menu would be worth the price. It's unfortunate. read more

They told us to order at the kiosk, but it was $2 more for what we wanted, so the counter person let us order from him. He was very nice and accommodating. The food here is more Middle Eastern than Greek. The flavors/seasonings reflected the Middle Eastern food much more so than Greek. read more

Ordered delivery and the beef shawarma wrap I ordered had olives with the pits still in them -- no notes or warnings, nearly cracked a tooth. Got "Salaam Cola" instead of the Pepsi I ordered, and instead of 7-up got some generic lemonade. Pita ordered as a side was cold. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. After a long 12 hour shift, I was craving some Greek food, you know a big plate with everything, and pita bread. I usually go to a place about a block from here but the reviews looked good I figured hey let's try it. I order two of the most expensive plates on the menu, two beef kebob plates. They come with rice, beef kebob, salad, and HUMMUS. Much to my surprise when I get home is that there was no pita anywhere. I called them back, but they told me the kebob plate does not include pita and they're separate. Well buddy, you gave me hummus and nothing to dip it with... and did not tell me that pita was NOT included. I am tired of restaurants nickel and diming us over cheap bread. Buddy, give me the pita. Small restaurant with about 6 tables with an Arabic TV station playing. The menu is on the wall and you order at the counter. We arrived at 2pm on a Sunday and were the only customers. I ordered the gyro salad and wife ordered just the gyro sandwich. If you want soda, it's Shasta in a can. Our food arrived promptly. The salad was HUGE! Definitely share this one. Okay i would give 5 stars for the food alone. The falafel sandwich is SO good and the greek friend are chefs kiss and the baba ghanoush is probably the best i've ever had.
