We had waited 20 mins and people who came in after had gotten their food before us. So we go check and food is ready. Food was still warm which is good. Went home and ate it, not enough meat, the pita was very dry and hard. Other than that the place is open 24/7 which is really helpful for the late night eaters! I used the kiosk and pain, after waiting 35 minutes and knew something was wrong, because several people came in and ordered after me had already departed. When I went to the counter and inquired, my order had not even been made. They rushed and made my order in five minutes, then I finally received my food. Came here to get some falafel wraps. First of all, the service is incredibly incredibly slow. There were many people standing around and waiting for orders. They placed on the phone and the atmosphere was a little uncomfortable. It seemed like when I called in for the order, they had told me it was almost ready, but look like they didn't even start I also asked for some sauces and they never gave me any sauces which was a little annoying. When I got home, the portions were incredibly small, and the price was incredibly high. I ordered from Uber last night for the first time from this restaurant. I ordered three dishes. In all three of them I bit down on at least one cardamom pod in the rice and had to spit it out. Although they provide great flavor I believe they are to be removed before serving. I had requested no olives which showed on the receipt attached to the bag, yet all had olives on the salad and hummus. The hummus was good and a generous order of pita bread was provided. I could not taste any type of dressing on the salad, which did appear fresh but had way too many pieces of what I believed were pepperoncinis that were hot to my taste. I can never give this restaurant my business again. We have loved this place for so long. Tonight, enjoying our baba ghanoush, I felt something hard in it, so I spit it out. When I first discovered this place I thought it was pretty nice and still do I love the gyros even though I don't eat them anymore just due to a one time bad experience when the guy that's always there wasn't and it was a new guy that knew nothing absolute nothing. Shady place either deleted my review somehow or deleted their yelp page and opened a new one. I had previously written an honest review that pointed out some pretty bad issues and they actually contacted me and asked me to change my review. I told them that I would visit again and then update my review accordingly. Not sure how long this one will stay up but here goes... I can't tell if this place is a restaurant or a game room. They make more room for their games then they do for customers to sit and eat. The food is okay but nothing to rave about. For greek, the flavors are just not as robust as you'd think they'll be. They have recently added a robot kiosk for customers to order from. The one guy that took our order and served us was a nice and pleasant person. My biggest complaints about this place are 1: The prices are steep! 2: The fact that they somehow removed my review because they didn't like the truth. How many other reviews have they removed? My original review sighted their wash rooms. When we first visited, they had no option of tissue paper. They had a makeshift bidet made from one of those kitchen sink sprayers. I commented about this being an issue. Since then they have resolved that issue and are now offering tissue. Never mind that the washroom doubles as a storeroom and it's filthy. At least you can wipe now. I know the owner reads these reviews because he expressed to me how important it is for him to receive GOOD reviews. Well, that only happens if your establishment is GOOD. Your food is GOOD and your facilities are GOOD! Thanks to their actions, I will never revisit this establishment and I would urge anyone looking for a greek meal to give It's Greek to Me a try. There is a Street Fighter arcade game and an air hockey table on the left side of the dining area opposite from booth and table seating on the right. I ordered a chicken and beef kabob plate, mixed grill plate and side order of rice. Both plates come with rice, hummus, salad and pita bread. I really liked how much effort they put into their salad. There were olives, feta cheese, shredded carrot, tomato, cucumber and lettuce in the salad. It was a great compliment to the heavier meat on the plate. The rice was very fragrant with whole cardamom mixed within and the rice had a bit of a nutty texture to it. I felt there could have been more flavor in the chicken and meat itself but as a complete meal the mixture of flavors and textures were well incorporated. read more
