Wow, were we fooled! The place is in a strip mall, the staff were unfriendly, and you order at an electronic kiosk. BUT- the food was awesome! We LOVED our falafels, surrounded by tender delicious pita and dripping with excellent tahini! read more

Always on the search for amazing gyros -- I traveled through Israel an Greece so now always looking for the best and I've heard through the grapevine. This place is the go to for gyros !! I ordered it through Uber Eats which always makes me nervous because sometimes when I go into a restaurant and then I order through delivery service it doesn't taste the same. oh my God spectacular !! the rice fluffy, a little sweetness, a little zing, and then chicken, lamb, beef, tender, hummus!! amazing salad I loved the pita bread hot. I can't wait to bring my whole family here read more

I love that they're open late. The food was tasty but the portion was modest. Good place to sit down and eat.

Always clean, quick food orders, and a good variety of stuff. I'll be back eventually

Gyro Bites in Tacoma, I will give it a 7.1/10 ! Firstly, the kiosk comments on Google and yelp were right. They don't notify you when the food is ready. We had waited 20 mins and people who came in after had gotten their food before us. So we go check and food is ready. Food was still warm which is good. Went home and ate it, not enough meat, the pita was very dry and hard. Other than that the place is open 24/7 which is really helpful for the late night eaters! I think it might've been a bad experience. But would come here again for late night eats. The place is spacious and clean! read more

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. When you enter the restaurant, there are instructions to place your order via a kiosk, whether dine in or takeout. I used the kiosk and pain, after waiting 35 minutes and knew something was wrong, because several people came in and ordered after me had already departed. When I went to the counter and inquired, my order had not even been made. They rushed and made my order in five minutes, then I finally received my food. I ordered the gyro planner and lamb shawarma entree. The gyro entree was delicious, but the lamb shawarma was overcooked and tough. The portion of sizes were large and the sides were good, but the texture of the lamb was not good. I wanted to get a to-go box for my leftovers, it took about 10 minutes to receive one. They need to work on their efficiency and lamb shawarma consistency read more

1st time ordering and disappointed. I ordered 2 SUPER Gyros which were suppose to have extra meat. It was full of lettuce! The meat was good with a little spice! But when you pay extra for meat on top of paying door dash fees its an expensive hit for something they advertised as a SUPER Gyro and there was little meat. Greek fries were good. Meat was good. Just don't call this a super. read more

Came here to get some falafel wraps. First of all, the service is incredibly incredibly slow. There were many people standing around and waiting for orders. They placed on the phone and the atmosphere was a little uncomfortable. It seemed like when I called in for the order, they had told me it was almost ready, but look like they didn't even start I also asked for some sauces and they never gave me any sauces which was a little annoying. When I got home, the portions were incredibly small, and the price was incredibly high. A great recipe for a place I definitely would want to come back to ..... riiight It was also hard to communicate with the cashier which just added to the frustration. I definitely believe this is a place I would not come back to and I think you should look elsewhere if you want a better experience. read more

Ordered through UberEats. Food was tasty but cold upon arrival. The food in the To Go container was disheveled though I assume that was on the delivery driver. The portions in one dish were less than expected. -- Will absolutely try in person or pickup, I won't UberEats from here again. read more

Food was phenomenal. I also love that they are open till 3 am. I don't like the ordering kiosk so much, because it's a little screwy, but it is manageable. Food takes some time to get to the table, but it isn't unreasonable. Prices are decent too. Will definitely be back read more

If you guys haven't been here, this place is a must. I'm from San Diego and we have lots of choices. My wife and I considered flying back just to hear some more. The service, the quality, the atmosphere is awesome. I would give their Moroccan recipe attend. If I could go any higher, I would. Highly highly recommended. read more

My family and I LOVE this place. It's tucked into the strip mall on 6th Avenue near Grocery Outlet so it's easy to miss. But the food is EXCELLENT and the people who run it are professional, friendly and generous. I'd have added a photo of the Greek fries but we ate them in the car on the way home after picking up our to-go order. I've never had anything that was less than excellent. read more

We really like this place and the food is very good. I do wish they had tabouli but they only have a limited menu. Wish the menu were more Lebanese instead of just Mediterranean. Humus is good and gyros although they need more sauce on them. Prices are high. Don't skimp on the sauces. read more

Wow! Ordered an Uber Eats gyro in the middle of the night. Had low expectations. It was delicious! There was tons of meat on the sandwich and the meat was so flavorful. There was not a lot of sauce or veggies, which I could do more of. But the meat was so good. I was really impressed with the taste. Thank you. That was delicious. read more

The meats are all delicious; ESP the chicken. The sides are all good. I noticed customers waiting at the counter not realizing there's a bell to rang to get the attention of a staff member. The staff stays busy in the back at least the day I went. The staff is kind, friendly.and helpful. read more

I ordered from Uber last night for the first time from this restaurant. I ordered three dishes. In all three of them I bit down on at least one cardamom pod in the rice and had to spit it out. Although they provide great flavor I believe they are to be removed before serving. I had requested no olives which showed on the receipt attached to the bag, yet all had olives on the salad and hummus. The hummus was good and a generous order of pita bread was provided. I could not taste any type of dressing on the salad, which did appear fresh but had way too many pieces of what I believed were pepperoncinis that were hot to my taste. Removed them as well as the olives. Not sure if I will try this restaurant again. read more

This place sucks don't spend your money here. The food quality is only good if your desperate for fast food Mediterranean. The service is a lie. Even when the night club is open this place looks closed. Don't advertise a tray of baklava with a picture of a tray if your gonna give 9 pieces in a box that you have to make yourself. Smh I'm disappointed. read more

Shady place either deleted my review somehow or deleted their yelp page and opened a new one. I had previously written an honest review that pointed out some pretty bad issues and they actually contacted me and asked me to change my review. I told them that I would visit again and then update my review accordingly. Not sure how long this one will stay up but here goes... I can't tell if this place is a restaurant or a game room. They make more room for their games then they do for customers to sit and eat. The food is okay but nothing to rave about. For greek, the flavors are just not as robust as you'd think they'll be. They have recently added a robot kiosk for customers to order from. The one guy that took our order and served us was a nice and pleasant person. My biggest complaints about this place are 1: The prices are steep! 2: The fact that they somehow removed my review because they didn't like the truth. How many other reviews have they removed? My original review sighted their wash rooms. When we first visited, they had no option of tissue paper. They had a makeshift bidet made from one of those kitchen sink sprayers. I commented about this being an issue. Since then they have resolved that issue and are now offering tissue. Never mind that the washroom doubles as a storeroom and it's filthy. At least you can wipe now. I know the owner reads these reviews because he expressed to me how important it is for him to receive GOOD reviews. Well, that only happens if your establishment is GOOD. Your food is GOOD and your facilities are GOOD! Thanks to their actions, I will never revisit this establishment and I would urge anyone looking for a greek meal to give It's Greek to Me a try. It's only a few miles down 6th Ave. read more

I can never give this restaurant my business again. We have loved this place for so long. Tonight, enjoying our baba ghanoush, I felt something hard in it, so I spit it out. It was a ripped off fingernail. The baba ghanoush comes in a tamper proof sealed container so I know the delivery service had no part in the wrongdoing. Consider another restaurant before this one. If they will let this happen, who knows how clean they keep the rest of their facility. read more

We ordered the beef/lamb gyro meal with a side of tzatziki sauce with pita bread and we're so excited to try the food! It was, hands down, the worst Greek food I've ever had. It was more like middle eastern/curry than anything else. The tzatziki sauce had no cucumber taste and was runny and sour. Never again! read more

Super glad we ordered take out from this restaurant, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Packed with a bunch of flavors, fresh vegetables, and generous portions. This was a hit! The Gyros were so full of meats doused in spices and the crisp crunch from the fresh veggies alongside the drizzles of the sauce really pulled this thing together. We ate every bite!!! Fries were excellent too! The chicken shawarma, loved every bite of it! The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The rice was fabulous and the hummus/salad was a nice touch. Even came with a side of pita bread too. The pistachio baklava finished our meal with a little sweetness, very nice! Definitely will be ordering from here again, yes indeed! When I first discovered this place I thought it was pretty nice and still do I love the gyros even though I don't eat them anymore just due to a one time bad experience when the guy that's always there wasn't and it was a new guy that knew nothing absolute nothing. They have baklava and a bunch of other pastries that definitely aren't fresh but still taste good . The ambiance is nice they even have a game thingy in there. read more

There is no denying that Tacoma has some good Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. But this GREAT family owned business, tucked away in one of the numerous strip malls off 6Th avenue has to be my favorite. Why? Is it the Chicken Shawarma? YES! Is it the Gyros? YES! Is it the Falafel? YES! Or the roasted cauliflower, spanakopita, Greek fries, baklava, kanafeh (must have in house not to go as it loses it's cheesy melt factor), katafi and dolmas! YESSSSS! ITS EVERYTHING ON THEIR MENU! Scrumptious, well seasoned and crave-able! EVERYTHING you want a restaurant to be! read more

It's a small Greek outlet but I can tell it's a pretty popular one. The reason is because there was literally a queue of people taking pickup. I went for dinner here on my way back to Seattle. This place serves exceptional Greek food. In my opinion Washington lacks good Mediterranean outlets but this place is definitely something you can add onto your list of Greek restaurants. The place is rather small but food is exceptionally good. read more
