Went here with my four year old son. HE is a handful and the good news was that the area they put us in was a kid section. Thank you to the great hostess! The waitress was nice and attentive. She gave us great advice about the portions. The food was good. Pizza for the boy was wonderful. My fish tacos were spicy and yummy. Plenty of food. Drinks were kept full. I do wish there was more choices on the menu (love the pretzel sticks), but the beer and whiskey selection is fantastic. More importantly, I go in for the bartenders, especially Billy. He knows what I drink and starts pouring it as soon as I walk through the door. I went last Saturday with a girlfriend. It was busy, but we were lucky to find two spots at the bar. Our bartender was attentive, and we shared three appetizers. Buffalo popcorn chicken, Tex-Mex egg rolls, and curried fries. All the food was great. My husband is from Ireland, and chips & curry are a thing in Ireland, and they got it right, here in Millis. I knew I had to bring DH by to check it out. We went tonight; my second time. More appies. Got the curry fries, Tex mex, and Thai chili wings. All awesome. Great service again. Good atmosphere. I need to go again to try an entree. So excited to have a new, local dining option. I have a feeling I'm going to be a regular. read more

This was my first time here. The food was typical pub food, but very well prepared. The beer selection was okay, incorporating several local craft brews. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere would have been enjoyable but for the rave music blasting loudly over mediocre speakers, inappropriate for the venue. They immediately changed the music after my husband spoke with them. The pub has the potential to be a nice destination, if they are more careful in the future with their choice of music. read more

I was very excited a year ago when I first came here. I frequented the Norwood location and was thrilled we now had a good bar/restaurant near home. Unfortunately after a visit today, I will now move Napper Tandy's to my No list. The seats were filthy and the front of the restaurant smells like urine. With only one other party in the restaurant and four wait staff hanging out at the bar, this seems like a management issue. The food was average--but I didn't really expect great food from here, however with what appears to be a laissez faire approach to the the front of the house, I'll continue my hopeless search. read more

Stopped in for an early dinner. I have eaten at the other N.T.'s This restaurant will become a regular stop for us. The food was awesome. It's higher end pub food. The decor is nice, place is very clean, and the food was the best "bar food" I have had in a long time. Napper Tandy's is my new favorite bar around - a clean bar that's fun and trendy is definitely a welcome addition to Millis. I went last Friday and will be back for sure. The grilled flatbread appetizer was delicious and the drinks were also great. I highly recommend it! read more

I stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was great! It was pretty quiet at it was 2 on a Monday. We ordered a apple and pecan salad and pretzel stocked. Both were great! The pretzels came with a sauce that was awesome and could have made a flip flop take good! We will definitely be back! read more

Quick service, good beer list though a bit pricey ($6 drafts with some as high as $13). We got fried pickles to start which were hot but could use more seasoning. The Tex-Mex Veggie Burger want bad but it had New England Tex-Mex spice, not Texas spice. Fries also lacked flavor/salt. Went on a quiet weekday night. Really nice looking place, with a great atmosphere. I would imagine it can get loud on a busy night since the ceilings are high. In regards to food and drink everything was excellent. Great selection of beers and an extensive menu. I had the steak tip salad with goat cheese that was fantastic. My husband had the Shepard's Pie that he raved about. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall great experience and we are looking forward to our next visit. read more

LOVE Napper Tandy's. New, clean, great service and amazing food. No place like it in the area. Burgers are great (bacon&bleu is my fave) and they have a good selection of apps too (pretzel sticks, flatbread, spring rolls, fried pickles...)! They run specials for NFL games so it's a great place to watch--TVs everywhere! Shannon is definitely the best bartender around...salted caramel mudslide??? YUM. This review is exclusively about the food. I've never actually eaten in this restaurant; I always order take out. Every time I've ordered the food has been ready on time, fresh from the kitchen. It's delicious and done as requested. Some day I'd love to sit and eat my dinner and have a drink, but the hazard pay to the sitter is a little steep right now for just a dinner at a casual restaurant. read more

When I heard a new restaurant was coming to Millis I was ecstatic. We have absolutely nothing going on. Then I heard it was a Napper Tandy's and I didn't have high expectations based off of my experiences in Norwood and Walpole. But this Napper's is great! The food is delicious, we generally have good service, it's clean, just the right volume (as my sister says - loud enough that during the day no one will complain about her loud kids but not too loud as to deter families). They have a good beer selection. It's just so nice to have a restaurant in town and I'm happy to say Napper Tandy's doesn't disappoint. read more

My husband and I went out for a fun date night here and as soon as we walked in very nice good vibe or so we thought, went towards the bar and hear " wow we never see black people in here" a waitress also heard it and was apologetic and said I'll get you guys a round of drinks on us awesome we thought, but try again we hear the manager Robin I believe start to swear and call us liars and told the waitress to put the drinks back on our tab immediately! Other guests by us were like wow she's a manger using that language and loud, jaws on the floor. The waitress was great and tried to do everything in her power to make us have an enjoyable night but hearing that manager swear and insult us we just couldn't and I believe I saw her drinking alcohol also very professional, but who am I to judge. As a restaurant, Napper Tandy's fails miserably. As a bar does much better. Visited early Sat PM. We weren't drinking, but they have a large bar with a pretty good beer selection and a nice range of bourbons as well. Unfortunately we were there for dinner. The mixed grill was a huge disappointment. A small grainy sausage of some kind, a few cut-too-small steak tips, and a completely flavorless piece of what I can only assume was a boneless chicken breast, with a really bad sweet bourbon sauce. Not good. Another in my party had a pizza-- don't bother, it's just a small step up from school cafeteria fare at higher than pizzeria prices. Burger was OK, but not particularly good. Somehow being simultaneously juicy and flavorless. The shepherd's pie, rather than being baked as the base component with a layer of mashed on top was deconstructed. It was served as a bowl of strangely flavored meat mixture with a scoop of mashed potato dropped on top along with a needless grilled slice of bread. Also, this arrived cold and the waitress never came back to check on things. By the time we were able to corral a different waitress everyone else had just about finished their meals. My last comment is on the room. While it is still clean and new, save for the annoying flies that would not leave us alone, the cavernous design makes the room very loud and it can be hard to converse. I'm not an expert on acoustics, but maybe hang some banners or something to reduce the sound reflection? I would be unlikely to return for a meal, we have better choices in town and in neighboring towns, but would come in for the bar. I'd rather starve than consider take-out. I'd suggest a few changes. First, put something in front of your diners when they sit. Bread, pickles, carrots and celery, something, anything. Second, improve the quality of your food. I'd like to say you're a step up from Applebee's but I really don't think that's the case at all. Third, while your servers are certainly friendly, and make all the efforts to upsell that the owners would like to see, they need to actually check that all is going well. read more

Figured I would take a shot and visit this new spot in the center of Millis. Never have been to one of these places and I understand it is a chain but this location is brand new. It sits in a new shopping center and it is quite a large place which you could never tell from the outside. Place inside is huge with a long bar and Irish pictures and beer signs all over the walls, pretty cool stuff. High top tables all around but these hostess working the door were quick on their feet and smart and saw we had kids and seated us in the corner with a booth and high top. Service here is exceptional, quick, friendly and just all around very good. Menu is traditional bar food but some cool seafood dishes and tasty appetizers plus a very extensive beer menu with some interesting seasonal flavors. I ordered some Haddock in a clam chowder soup sauce which was really good plus some spicy Texas egg rolls. Even the kids food looked great. Prices were decent and I will definitely come back and try this place again! read more

We went in on a Friday night. We were seated very quickly. At our table we ordered fish and chips a hot sandwich and pizza. The fish had no flavor and the fries were cold and soggy. The sandwich was not correct and had very little meat on it. The fries were cold. The prices are high for the poor quality of food being served. Horrible wine selection. My husband and I ate here last Friday night and we really liked it. We'd been to the Napper Tandy's in Walpole several times before which we also liked, but this is a little closer to us so we were eager to try it. We had a great waiter (shout out to Jared!) who was helpful, friendly, and very interactive with us. Everything we had was delicious. The calamari was very good, although we wish there had been more on the plate. My husband had the Haddock Nantucket which was haddock in a New England Clam Chowder and bread crumbs casserole. He loved it! I had the California Burger (a turkey burger with guacamole, cheese, etc.) which was also delicious, and HUGE - but so good! The restaurant is a large open room with a really long bar so even though the place was full while we were there, there seemed to be minimal waiting. We had great food and a fun time. As Franklin residents we have been searching for a new casual pub style restaurant within striking distance . We found it with Napper Tandys . Beautifully finished interior, great atmosphere and we were thoroughly impressed with the food and the service. We stayed with basic burgers and beers for this visit but will definitely visit again soon and try some dinner entrees. read more

Really nice looking place. Lots of waitresses running around, but disorganized. End if the bar was full of dirty dishes and pint glasses, Millis health inspector would have had a field day writing citations. Chicken Parm was cold with unmelted cheese on top, but the angel hair was piping hot underneath . Was hoping for an Irish atmosphere, but was disappointed. Stick to their Walpole restaurant, this one isn't going to make it under this management team. Sorry to say. But truthful . read more
