When we go to Terrell, we love coming here for Italian. They have friendly staff, fun grapes painted on the ceiling and nice paintings of Italian coastline on the walls. But we come here for the food! Order the Fruits de Mar Alla Pana Sauce! You can split it and split a small pizza, too. It's sooooo good, you won't regret it if you love seafood. Big pieces of shrimp, mussels, and scallops. It comes with a salad. I like their red house dressing. Very tasty. And their bread is also very buttery and you can dip it in the alla pana sauce... delicious! read more

The positive: The bread was fresh out of the oven and the right texture but needed more garlic, Parmesan something? Kind of bland. I did enjoy the manicotti! I got the combo that has 5 different pastas and the manicotti was fair, the lasagna was ok but the rest go to the negative side.. Really nice weight staff that were on top of it. The negative: We ordered a water and a tea and they both tasted like mildew so they definitely need to clean the area they get their water from. It was BAD. The other 3 items on the combo were cannelloni, ziti and tortellini and they were meh is probably the nicest I can say. My husband stated he got the Napoli special and it was half ass. read more

I've eaten here twice now while visiting family. First time was takeout and second was fine - and both were exceptional experiences! Takeout order was perfect! Exactly what we ordered, still hot when I got it home, large portions, lots of bread, lots of leftovers! Service was friendly and quick - I couldn't carry everything my self so they found a large box for me to put everything in! Dined in this week and similar experience. There's a decent size dining room, we showed up around 7:30 and were seated immediately. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The pizza crust is light and the sauce is delicious, well portioned in comparison to the cheese. Ravioli has beef in it and they are huge!!! Chicken alfredo was creamy with plenty of sauce. The mozzarella caprese is so good!! Large slices of mozzarella on top of sliced tomato with balsamic dressing and a bell pepper- i take the pepper off, but good both ways. The sliced italian sausage in sauce appetizer is also very tasty. I don't normally like to fill up on bread, but I couldn't say no to a second roll!!! With butter or marinara, rolls were fresh, warm, a bit of garlic, and just good! The tiramisu is also good - sweet, the cake is not soggy (which sometimes happens with tiramisu), the top is light and creamy, the espresso taste is not overbearing, it's just a nice treat to finish the meal. Even our picky eaters enjoy it! Service was also exceptional dining in! Drinks were kept full, iced tea was made fresh and tasted fresh, our order came out quickly. Do not get the calamari, it taste like crap, very rubbery, pure junk... clearly they know that because everybody else has commented on how bad the calamari is. Absolutely great Italian restaurant to try it! Quickly got seated and received some fresh rolls which I recommend trying with their marinara sauce. My wife had their chicken parm and I tried their chicken Alfredo fettuccine and I must say I was impressed! Coming from someone who spent 2 years cooking for Olive Garden I couldn't get enough of it. Our waiter was also polite and quick to get us refills. Only regret was driving by it so many times and not ever stopping sooner. read more

Been eating food from Napoli's as long as I've been visiting Terrell, which goes back to, I dunno, the 90s? Very yummy food. Over the years my favorites have changed, but the Franco's Special is always good. I also really like their Stromboli and their Meatball Sub. A word of warning on the sub, if you don't love super toasty crunchy bread, stick with the stromboli, but if you like it crunchy the sub is the way to go. I love their house dressing (a tangy tomato vinaigrette). And with portion sizes as large as they are, I can easily get two meals out of most their entrees if I also get a dinner salad. read more

Food was disgusting. There were several black hairs in my sons fettuccine, the chicken Marsala was over pasta and tasted like plain ramen noodles. This could be the best restaurant in Terrell. Now, I'm only speaking from the POV of someone who read a bunch of reviews, and then ate here, but it was delicious, service was impeccable, and the restaurant was clean. The same cannot be said of other places. Warm bread + butter to start the meal is always nice, paired with the very nice hostess and a friendly, attentive (but not overly so) waiter made the meal awesome. I had the chicken piccatta and my friend had the veal piccatta and this was probably the largest portion of either dish I've ever seen. I got two, large, flattened chicken breasts underneath a mountain of pasta. The sauce was good (just not wow-amazing), they had large capers instead of the little ones (no big deal), and the entire dish was hot and tasty. They also had decent prices on their wine so we just grabbed a bottle. If I ever have to come back here for some reason, I'll head straight to Napoli's! read more

First time we tried this place, I didn't get the correct meal so tried it again tonight for a second time and again, didn't get the correct meal. Unsure how this continues to happen so instead we received 2 lasagnas which were both lacking ricotta cheese so it's meat in noodles with mozzarella cheese on top. Wow. I will not be frequenting there again....until maybe they can learn the ingredients that go into lasagna. read more

Close, but not close enough. Napoli's is trying to get it right. The menu looks great on paper, unfortunately their execution is a bit off. Marinara was bland, chicken tasted like it was frozen too long. Fried calamari was something decidedly not what it should have been. Albert, our waiter, was wonderful. The sliced sausage appetizer blew me away. Not only was the sausage itself delicious, the sauce was the best I've ever tasted. I probably would not have done so on my own, but when Amber, another very nice waitress, happened by asking if I wanted more fresh baked dinner rolls to dip into the leftover sauce, I couldn't resist. All of the combination pastas were were cooked perfectly. The eggplant parmigiana was wonderful and different than I have ever had before. It was very thinly sliced and rolled up. Even the NY cheesecake dessert was great. It was easy to see how they have stayed in business for 24 years. If you are in the area, at least try the sliced sausage. read more

I just ordered a To-Go order from here. When I arrived a girl set a bag in front of me and I asked if it was mine and they said yes so I moved it to the side so I could pay. Well they rang me up for the wrong order and when they realized it the same girl took the bag away. I got my order and left. Here's THE PROBLEM... I got a call from 1 of the girls that said the manager knows I TOOK said bag and that he SAW me take it!! Then I get a call right back saying they FOUND said bag and that it got "misplaced"?!? The girl apologized to me but it wasn't her fault this happened. Yet he was so fast to accuse the customer of stealing! To top it off instead of calling me HIMSELF to accuse me &/or apologize he had someone else do it for him! Don't know if I can go back there with they way they treat their customers... just seems way to arrogant for my taste. read more
