And sometimes... the slice just doesn't show up ready for the audition. Naples Pizza in Roselle was one of those stops where expectations were reasonable, not sky-high. Classic NJ pizza joint, right? Unfortunately, the pizza didn't quite stick the landing. The slice itself was heavy and limp, with a crust that felt more steamed than baked. No crisp, no structure--just a sad fold that gave up halfway to my mouth. The sauce was bland, like it forgot why it was there, and the cheese sat on top more like an obligation than a partnership. Nothing offensive flavor-wise, just... aggressively forgettable. From a Dasher's POV: orders were ready, but presentation and consistency felt rushed. This is the kind of pizza that fills a box but not the soul. The kind you eat because it's there--not because you want to. Look, I've had incredible mom-and-pop pizza all over New Jersey, and that's the standard I hold spots to. Naples just didn't meet it this time around. I have ordered plain wings consistently and this time with much attitude and entitlement I was told I was wrong and my order couldn't be remade. In addition, the manager I spoke with told me the error was my fault but was not on the phone when I made the order originally. Nothing special. I honestly think the pizza is way too salty and is missing something. Not quite sure what, but it was dry and nothing out of the ordinary. I paid $30 for a shrimp fettuccine pasta and they gave me a little bit of noodles with only four shrimp (which you can taste they didn't even wash because it has sand in it still). Waste of money, I could've just went to Olive Garden and got more for less. read more

I ordered the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and it was horrible!! They left the skin on the eggplant and did not bread it or put sauce on it. It was so mushy and disgusting. I threw the whole thing out after just one bite!!! I've had eggplant sandwiches at many different places and NEVER have they left the skin on or failed to bread it and put sauce on it. I ordered from Naples Pizza, I kept refreshing the grubhub app. After an hour, it kept saying delivery was going to late and then it said something wasn't right and to contact grubhub. Grubhub couldn't do anything because apparently Naples uses their own driver. They left the pizza on my stairs with no notifications and it was ice cold. They wouldn't refund me anything for a cold pizza. I thought I would support small business and I was craving a nice hot pizza. I'm sorry too, you should of done the right thing. read more

It all began on rainy Friday afternoon in March at around noon. I had just moved into my new house in Roselle and was immediately craving a slice of home. I searched my Google directory high and low for a pizzeria and ordered a pepperoni and onion pie (with fingers crossed). What I got was not just another pizza... It's the only pizza I will order for now on. The ingredients: fresh. The menu: diverse and incredible. The customer service: unrivaled. My wife thought she knew good pizza, until she had Naples Pizza. Now she's too powerful. She cannot be stopped. It's the equivalent to Popeye the Sailor Man with spinach, but my strong italian wife. She opened a tomato sauce jar by looking at it and wherever she walks little Disney-style humanoid garlic cloves follow. read more

This pizza place is amazing. The pizza is made a little bit thicker than other pizza places which my family loves. We live about 10 minutes away from Naples and we pass so many pizza places along the way to get there. The wings are the best wings around, way better than other places. read more

Stay away and don't waste your money. We ordered the 16 ounce cheese pizza that came in a 16 inch box and was so small. The pizza had no flavor. We also ordered the grandma pizza which was we could even eat. I specifically requested that both pizzas be cooked to a light brown crust. The grandma pie was black totally black We had one bite and threw it away. My family and I like trying new places and the reviews I read were good. The place is a dump, the pizza was awful, they gave me one price on the phone and then when we went to pick up our order they tried to charge us 46 cents more because they were rounding it. The Penne in Vodka Sauce with the sausage and goat cheese is unbelievably amazing. I am embarrassed to say I ate the entire huge portion by myself in one sitting. The pizza is great. I especially love the personal size as it is in the tavern style that I love. We order from there weekly and I look forward to it and it makes a night at home in quarantine even better. Next time I order I may just pick it up so I can meet, commend and thank the owner for the high quality and amazing food. This was a DoorDash find for us by the way. The pizza was delicious, but the fries were undercooked and some tasted old like they mixed fries weren't all made fresh. The buffalo chicken didn't look too tasty. I tried it and it wasn't too tasty either. I definitely don't recommend the fries or chicken! Only giving this 3 stars because of the pizza. read more

Recently moved into the neighborhood and decided to order from the local pizza shop. Naples was the closest pizza shop around. I ordered the food at 5:30 on a Sunday. 8 o clock at night hits and I get a call. Realistically the driver was outside for 30 seconds and left. I called back to talk to someone and told me the driver was coming back. 20 minutes go by and nothing. Then I get a call and it's the manager. The driver is the manager. I was waiting outside the whole time and as he's pulling up he tells me he was waiting there for a long time. Terrible service. Food was awful and on top of everything they forgot my drink. I do not recommend eating here. I'm all up for helping out local businesses but I would never spend or have someone spend a dollar here ever again. A must close down business. Said what I said.
