When we arrived there were limited options since it was so late. I went with a cheese slice and a garlic knot. Had a root beer to drink. Total was close to $20.00. How was it? 90 bucks for two 10x16 inch pizzas. 90 bucks. 90. Really? One was the "garbage" pie. Overloaded with not particularly tasty veg and soggy as a result. The other was the "ramp and benton's bacon" pie. The pizza is light, airy, with a buttery tasting crust. The slices are on the smaller side given their higher price. We had the upside down Sicilian, Reg cheese slice, white slice, and their margarita slice. My favorites were the margarita and the white slice. They were very good and flavorful! The white slice can use a bit more cheese, but it still was very good! My husband thought their reg cheese slices were very good. I thought the upside down slice was disappointing. Excellent pizza close to home. I saw this place in NJ.com as one of the best pizza places in NJ, so I gave it a try. I ordered Upside Down pizza at a specific time, 3:00 pm, from their website. I got a text message around 2:50 p.m. stating that the pizza was ready. Pizza is awesome. This is now my favorite place. I will try garbage pizza next time. The place is spotless and everything looks perfect. I recommend it if you are looking for a great pizza in the area. A gentleman who handled my pizza was a nice guy, very friendly--service with a smile. There is no parking, only street parking, but it was easy to find since the neighborhood is well-organized. They do what they do really well. Their slices remind me of Pizza Hut pan pie back in the 70s/80s if you're old enough to remember that. Crispy, light, airy, and the bottom of the crust is slightly oily, in a good way, as in not dry. I'm not usually a crust eater but I actually ate a fair bit of my crust. Service is good and they bring it to your table if they're not busy. The vibe is classic corner pizza joint with some funky touches like the old sign from their former city spot. Mike and his #CornerSlice crew hooked us up with a flight of slices from their famous upside down to Margherita to #BuffaloChicken. Owners experimenting in the back room with flavor combos...some perhaps not exactly what you would expect or want (hamburger slice, Pizza Hut style slice) but all ingredients are fresh. I visited Corner Slice to use a gift certificate and hit a few snags. I tried to phone in my order, but was told I had to use the online system. This was an inconvenience since I wanted to pay my remaining balance in cash, which the online platform didn't easily accommodate. I tried the upside-down pie, but for the price, it was smaller than expected, and the taste was fairly average. Waited in line 15 min on Friday 5pm-ish for a few of their dessert creations du jour to bring to a dinner party, they appeared to be in stock as they were sitting out in the case with the pizza. Got to the register to order, and the guy behind the counter tells me that all desserts been spoken for by online orders. Rude about it, like it was weird for me to actually want to buy something sitting there on display. So I guess you have to cut the line to ask if what is showing on the counter is actually available for sale? Weird system. Anyway, Porta Rossa around the corner got a nice sale out of it. read more

Nice building, clean restaurant. I wish they had tap water available. Also, the price are pretty high for the size of the slice that you receive. The slices do taste good, they are just so oily and greasy. My fingers were dripping in oil after eating the pepperoni slice. The service was also quite slow, and the employee putting pizza in the oven to heat the slices only put in three to four slices at a given time. I don't blame her, though because it didn't appear she had a big enough counter to box up slices anyways. Overall, tasty but probably increases your risk of cardiovascular diseases. read more

So I don't leave many reviews unless something really gets to me that I think is important for the owner or the public to know. I was there this past Sunday (2/16/25) just before 2p and ordered many slices for my family. We ate them there. They were good. My husband really liked the crust. Fine. But I'm not going back. Why? (1) Woman behind the counter saw that we were ordering a lot of slices (9/qty) and never pointed out the special which would have saved us money. (2) The woman behind the cash register, when asked if there was tap water and cups, pointed over my shoulder said, "Cups are there" with a tone which conveyed "leave me alone." She did not say, "I'm sorry, we don't offer tap water. We have bottled beverages you can buy." (3) That same employee behind the register was hating her job while dealing with the public--she was unfriendly, un-kind, un-helpful. So If I want attitude, I'll ask my teenage sons a question, but when I'm spending $60+ for counter pizza, you have got to be kidding me that I'm going to deal with attitude. And there was a tip jar! Omg make me lol. Owner: You need to "spy" on your staff by sending your friends in in your place to find out which of your employees really wants her job and who doesn't. Good luck.
