Months ago I took my Toyota Camry in for a service before I head out on a 4,000 mile road trip.. Now keep in mind I've been coming to this place every few months for the last number of years. I even got a Ramona Tire Card because I liked this place.. Anyway, the last time I came in for service they said my rear shocks were bad and needed replaced (disproven by Toyota), CV's were bad (disproven by Toyota) and that my rear brakes were bad (3mm) also (disproven by independent repair shop). No Pictures of any of this like they typically do send everytime. When this happened and I called the store, the manager at the time conferred with the technician and they came back and said that it was 4 mm on the brakes and confirmed the other two items they said we're bad needed to be replaced. After taking my car to a Toyota dealership and an independent repair facility and found out that all of these items that Ramona tire said were needing to be replaced was untrue, I contacted Ramona tire and called them out on it. All they did was deflect to a Manager that was on vacation.. Never Heard Anything Back!! After a few months now I am researching tires and figured I would give them another shot at my business. Turns out the Manager was never informed of this issue.. Then when I talked to the Manager about tires he told me a price and the rebates and I was gonna give them another chance.. The next day I reached out to Ramona tire again just to confirm and ask an additional question and I was told that the previous person I spoke with gave me inaccurate information and I would not be receiving part of the rebates. When I informed this person that I spoke with the manager, he said well I don't know what to tell you that rebate is only available online. That he would have the manager call me back. an hour later I called because I never received a phone call. Turns out the employee that said that the manager was incorrect gave me the wrong information. I am done.. It's truly sad that Quality at Ramona Tire has changed and being trained on correct information is a struggle.. I would rather take my car to Toyota then deal with a place that doesnt value honesty and making sure the customer is getting the best value and quality for the money..

I told George over the phone what the problem was and he was able to diagnose it over the phone. This is after my car sat there for 10 months due to me believing it wasn't fixable. George got my car back on the road in 3 days. Ever since that happened we've been coming here. They will fix your car without it being too pricey. George goes above and beyond for anyone and even gave me his personal number if I had any other issues. Highly recommend this shop.

George, the new manager, goes way above and beyond to please his customers and I love his positive attitude, which is a very nice change for the better and not at all characteristic of the former management's style, so kudos to him! And the good news is that George is totally focused on management and customer relations and supervision of his technicians, and he doesn't do any of the actual repair work himself, so he doesn't have that grumpy, overworked, and irritated attitude that you will find in so many service stations. He is super friendly and super positive and goes out of his way to help. I was struggling so hard trying to get my car smogged, and George actually took time out of his busy schedule to encourage me and advise me on that, and he even volunteered to scan my car's system periodically to assess my progress in getting my vehicle's monitors to clear. Wow. So unbelievably nice! I actually think that it was his positive attitude and his encouragement that kept me going and kept me from feeling totally defeated. And it was that infectious positive spirit which enabled me to finally succeed in passing the smog test. His guys have also voluntarily filled my tires whenever they have gotten low.
