Don't ask me why I am JUST now purchasing & supporting Nap or Nothing. Just know I'm a fan and they have a customer in me. While on my lunch break I decided to put some extra time for my spot to browse for an item. I walked in and was immediately greeted and given a quick brief rundown of the store since it was my first time in. I was appreciative of the context as it made me be more intentional to enjoy the artwork, as it's all local. I was looking for something to be able to rock this summer and in the airport as I have several trips planned. Although Maxie was assisting another customer, it was nice to see him present and to still make a quick touch point with me. I found 2 great pieces and LOVED that the hat I got came with buttons. All in all...VISIT & SUPPORT this local business. Great things are happening and when you walk in, rather you're from Indy or not, it will feel like home My only suggestions: -invest in a few mirrors for customers to see the look -DONT STOP GOING!

One of my absolute favorite stores in Indianapolis . The owners are so sweet and make you feel welcome . I recently had the pleasure of hosting a sip and shop called Content and Conversations and Matthew was so helpful and supportive ! The pricing is extremely reasonable and the quality of the clothing is great. They have a great selection of clothing and they are extremely inclusive as far as sizing is concerned! My go to items would have to be the Slumhaus and Nap or Nothing short sets ! They are quality and perfect for the spring and summer months! Parking is fairly easy to find but if it's busy you may not get a parking space directly out front . You do have to pay at the meter as well but you can use the ParkMobile app

So left brunch and decided to check out this new spot on Mass Ave. To my surprise it is a Black Owned business which is super rare for Mass Ave! They offer a variety of Indy aka Nap Town wear. Shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants etc... there are some designs that are bold statement pieces and then others that are understated (more my style). It is perfect for those that like to represent and also support local businesses. The owner was working the day we came in and he was fantastic. I was so impressed I asked if he would attend our block party that our neighborhood has in the fall! Support small businesses!!!

We frequent Macy's a lot when needing to get clothes for occasions. They have multiple entrances, so parking usually isn't an issue here. The mall can get really busy during holidays, so it may be harder to find parking during these times. The entrance by the ladies/junior section has a women's restroom conveniently located by the fitting room. I have used this restroom often, and it's usually clean. Macy's sale racks are worth checking out. I found a cute sweater dress marked down for $22 that was on last act that I purchased. Original price was $80. I love a good sale. Fitting rooms are available in many of the departments, so that's never an issue. Most of the workers are helpful. This location also has a whole area for Macy's Backstage which is more clearance/marked down items. I found a pair of boots that were my size for $5, but unfortunately they were too tight so I decided not to purchase.

The downstairs is divided up behind interior walls and the signage above the wide arch doorways directs you to the various sub departments. Walking into the store, one cannot help but smell all the pleasurable fragrances in their vast perfume areas. The store is bright, inviting and absolutely sparkles. Eventually I found the men's department up the escalator on the second floor. I was also looking for the "boys" department or young men's area but never found a specific area with those smaller sizes for teen boys. The sizing on pajamas has grown out of portion for a normal size person. Think of the swimming trunks for men these days. Some of them go down to your calves. I wear a large size in clothing. The small size of pajamas is like wearing a tent. The pants were a foot too long and the cuff of the long sleeves of the shirt went six inches past my wrist. This is why I was looking for young men sizes but they probably don't wear the matching pajamas style anymore. The did have a sale on the pajamas I did find. They were really marked down compared to other department stores. But not enough to offset the alterations costs for me.

For many years the colors, designs were not "official team" apparel which kept prices fairly low. Now that they've gotten into licensed team apparel, I've noticed some prices have gone up.. but it's the price of business. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ At any moment you'll see IU, Xurdue, Butler, Colts, Pacers and Indy 500 brands all over the store and online, with occasional touches into OSU, ISU (#LarryLegend), and retro brand fandom. The only less Hoosier Hopsitality thing about them is their staff - the guy working when I most recently stopped in did not appear approachable nor care to talk... but hello-- that is part of your job. The hipster Broad Ripple "I could care less" vibe he gave off left a sour taste in my mouth.

They had 2-3 shirts that were Taylor themed and a cute sticker. The prices were affordable and I paid $24 for a shirt and $3 for a sticker. I wish they had a larger selection of designs on different types of shirts. For example, the design I really wanted was only available on a very think cotton shirt and I would have preferred a lighter and softer material.

After climbing the stairs to the front porch, we entered into the shop. To the left of the shop is a row of dressing rooms for visitors to try on the women's clothing offered within the shop. To the right are several rows of clothing that extend to the back of the shop. To the immediate right of the doorway are accessories, party games, greeting cards, and other small gift items. Based upon my wife's opinion, the clothing seemed to be high quality but also came with a higher price tag than what she was used to paying. She found a gorgeous necklace almost immediately, but the nearly $400 price tag scared her off. The ladies working were welcoming and offered to help find something if needed. Review #3329
