I went to Nancy's for the first time today and I have nothing but great things to say about them. I got a Green Tea Pedicure ($35) and it was done by the man there. He took his time and did a great job! I then got a dip powder French ombré with acrylic tips ($60) by Nancy and I'm OBSESSED. I've never had a dip before but Nancy took her time and told me what she was doing every step of the way, the benefits, how to take care of them, etc. She was such a sweetheart! The atmosphere is also very peaceful and the music very relaxing. The one thing I will say is that they had many appointments and not many staff - however, they got everyone done in a timely manner and it seemed to me that clients were very happy. I have been looking for a good nail place in Columbus and decided to come here! The interior was very clean and aesthetically nice. I got a full set with the SNS dip powder in 514. They had a ton of dip colors to choose from! My technician did a great job and really took her time to shape them. I got a sugar scrub to put on my hands after everything was finished. I've been here before and I've always loved it. My appointment was at 5pm today and I didn't walk out until 8. All I got was a regular pedicure and a gel manicure on unpainted nails. I was planning on getting glitter but it was taking so long that I didn't. As for the design, I've seen results from other clients and I'm slightly disappointed at how mine turned out. I used to love this nail salon, but I have noticed the past couple of times that I went in that they are scheduling more than one person at a time in the same exact time slot with the same exact technician. (They will literally make one person sit there and wait a half hour while she rushes thru the other client. The whole reason I used to come here was because she took her time and did a better job than other places. Now because of how you have started doing business, I will not be back. Very ignorant and unprofessional move. You are going to lose a lot of clients if you continue to do this. You should NEVER EVER schedule more than one person for the same time. (I can't believe this isn't common sense!) When I made the appointment I even said I was flexible and could come a different day to see Nancy but the guy said she could do me at 6pm that same day. Nancy Nails is terrible!!! They did a terrible job on my dip manicure. After being the salon for over 3 hours in which the manager had to step in an try and fix the job one of the technicians started, my nails still came out bad. I paid for the service because I felt obligated. I left and I realized some of my nail was not covered, I went back in. Daniel told me I could get my nails redone a different day. All of the days that they were trying to book me I had to work. They have since refused to redo my nails or give me a refund ($50.52). I have called and the manager has refused to get on the phone and the person answering the phone has taken my information for a return call. The manager finally got on the phone today and is saying there is a 2 week time frame to get another appointment. I tried for weeks!!!! There were pros and cons to Nancy's Nails. I went in for a pedicure, and the atmosphere was great, the color choices for polish were extensive, and the massage chairs were excellent. I chose the green tea pedicure. The soak and cuticle care were standard. There was a sugar scrub and callus care. However, I was surprised that while I had lotion applied to my legs and they were then wrapped in a hot towel, there was no moisturizing treatment to my feet. No lotion, no oil, nothing. I knew that I had not chosen the "lotion massage" pedicure, but I assumed that I would still have lotion applied to my feet, perhaps just without an extended massage. I was not impressed that in order to have a basic moisturizing step included in my pedicure, something that I think of as standard, I needed to pay for the upgraded $45 pedicure. read more

Best dip manicure I've had! My technician took her time and made sure to correct any imperfections that came up. My nails are the perfect thickness...I've had some dip manicures at other salons where they came out super thick making the nails feel very unnatural. I love Nancy and the rest of her staff! Nancy doesn't just rush through from one client to the next. When it's your time to have your nails done, Nancy focuses only on you and your nails. A big pet peeve of mine is TIME. Other nail salons waste my time, by allowing me to make appointments that still leave me waiting for 30+ minutes before they get started. If you make an appointment with Nancy, it always starts on time. Plus, you can make appointments online which is very convenient. I get regular dip manicures from Nancy. Not only do they look good, but they last for weeks with literally no chipping or damage at all. I generally leave mine on for a month, and they still look perfect even though they've grown out. Best nail salon I have been to! They really go above and beyond. I decided last minute to get get a manicure and pedicure for an event I was going to. They had a spot open so I scheduled online. The massage chair I sat in for the pedicure was amazing. Got all the spots I needed it to. When I switched over to the manicure, the color I picked was a bit complicated. It had different sized flecks of glitter so it was hard to put on. I debated about changing it, but it matched my outfits for the weekend. This is by far the best nail salon I have been too. I have been 3 times now - 2 different people have done my nails but they have been perfect each time. It is because they take such care each step of the way. I am getting the powder dip nails - and they lasted 3.5 weeks (and counting) without a single chip, lift, crack - I only went because they were growing out. I am pretty hard on my hands so that is amazing. My natural nails crack and peel and with the dip they have been better and longer each time. I like that they ask you before they do things like"Do you want me to push cuticles back"? Instead of just assuming. The people that work there are all friendly and you feel welcome. They clearly take pride in their work and don't take shortcuts. They have 700 colors in the dip nails - too much choice really! I like that you can make online appointments and they keep to their time schedule. This is the first nail place in Columbus I've found that actually keeps their nail appointments and you can make them online! Multiple other salons in Columbus when you make an appointment you are waiting over a half hour plus to be served. The second time I waited 5 minutes and Nancy was so apologetic and insisted that she do my nails because the girl I had an appointment with wasn't finished yet. Nancy and her team are so sweet and accommodating they always ask if everything looks okay and want to make sure you are 100% satisfied. They do an amazing job with gel manicures and pedicures. They take their time and you don't feel rushed since everyone has an appointment and there aren't people waiting in the lobby. We had a terrible experience at this nail salon. We made reservations my sisters, mom, and I to get a manicure and pedicure for my sisters wedding. Our our reservation was at 10:30, they didn't take us for an hour later. Only 2 ladies there know how to do nails, the others just prep you for your pedicure, then you have to wait for one of the two ladies to paint. My mom spent over an hour and a half "soaking" her feet in the massage chair. We were there for a total of 3 hours and only 2 of us had our toes done and only 1 of us had our nails done. I was referred to this salon by a coworker who had nothing but great things to say and was not disappointed. Nancy is amazing! She is an expert in dip powder and she convinced me to try it for the first time on my first visit last week. She explained to me all the differences between gel, dip, and acrylic and helped me decide that dip is the best choice for me while trying to grow and repair my natural nails after having acrylic nails for so long. I didn't have high expectations since my nails are so brittle and thin, but Nancy did her thing and was able to shape and coat my nails beautifully. I had dip powder on previously when I came in. I had requested a gel mani. They did NOT take all of my old dip powder off before applying the gel. So, the gel did not adhere properly to my nail and began separating from my nail. The manicure only lasted a few days and it costed $40.
