Corned beef hash with over easy eggs and toast
Gabriel P.

Picked up my sister in law from Tony Honda were she dropped her car off. My wife suggested Nancy's Kitchen. Well we got to Nancy's at about 9:30 am. Greeted and promptly seated. It took a few minutes before she came to take our order. She was the only server so it was understandable that the service was slow. our table had four different breakfast orders. All of which were not hot. It must of been sitting out a while. My order of homemade corned beef hash with over easy eggs would have tasted better is it was served warm or hot. The ambiance is clean and open. Since does have a bar area the lighting was dim. That was also my observation from the lat time I've been there. Enjoy

Haven't been here for a long time, decided to come back and bring some of my friends for dinner. I think the food came better than before, the Kalbi was delicious. Our waiter Anthony has excellent customer service, he's been here for 13 years. I will definitely come back again with my friends. Aloha, Derek

OK, so it's been years since I came here! I believe the last time I came here was when I downed several gnarly Bob Marley shots I honestly don't even think we ate here. We just came for drink back then BUT..... Can I just say..."BEST KALBI RIBS EVER!!!!" Like....FRFR! Finger licking good I must add! Everything about today was great! Service was awesome. Was good fun talking stories with the employees. The Kalbi was to die for! The breaded shrimp was fairly big and had flavor even without the tartar sauce. Mind you the tartar sauce tasted like it was homemade. me either with a soup or salad. I ended up getting the barley soup. It had ground beef in it however it wasn't oily at all, and I appreciated the broth as well as the fresh vegetables in it. It also came with either Jell-O or pudding. I ended up getting the chocolate pudding topped with whip cream. I ended up mixing the whip cream and chocolate pudding together to make it into a mousse, and it was so good. It hit the spot. Although it did look like it needed a little remodeling with updated chairs and tables. I still wouldn't change anything it gave off a good bar, feeling to it like a bar and grill type of vibe. MUST TRY THE KALBI!!!!!!!! Ok byeeeee

My friends and I stopped in for lunch today at about 11:00am. The place was empty, only had 2 tables taken. The girl brought us menus right away and asked us what we wanted to drink. We all got water. After a few minutes, another girl came by to take our order. I'd say the food didn't take too long and I was happy that all 3 came out at the same time. I ordered the Teri beef sandwich with fries. It was just ok, nothing spectacular but a little on the saltier side. The fries were good. My friend didn't care for the won ton in her saimin. The won ton wrapper appeared really thick. She took all of her filling out and only at the filling. My other friend ordered the French dip and she ate it all. The server came by twice to fill our water. I was surprised that it was so empty. The whole time we were there, only one couple came in to eat. I wonder how they can stay in business. Lunch seems really slow. The ambience is very dated and they could use a renovation or an updated look. Beer cases are stacked in the hallway by the bathroom. The seats in the booths are cracked and not in good shape. I

We went recently after a 5th grade graduation for Pearl Harbor Christian Academy. Got seated quickly and served when we were ready, waitress was pretty on it throughout our stay for breakfast. Food was delicious and the place was clean. Food was a lot, took home leftover. They offered a hash brown patty or homemade potatoes, I took the homemade, well seasoned & cooked well. So go an enjoy a well made breakfast!

Great service! Came here just for desserts but we will definitely be back for a meal (and more dessert!) My cheesecake was accidentally brought out frozen (new worker, no one's fault!) and the server immediately fixed it! Such great service! Kind employees, happy environment, clean location 10/10 recommend

It's been over a decade since I've last visited this place and I don't even recall them have a sit down dining in. Met up with a couple of friends to have dinner and catch up. I ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and got the complete meal which comes with either a soup or salad, dinner roll and jello or pudding. We must have picked a night where they ran out of a lot stuff, because they didn't have soup or pudding and some other entrees that I can't remember. Service isn't fast at all but they try their best. It's a good thing our group was as patient as we could be. Not sure if I'll be coming back but if I do, I'm going to try something else. I do love the feel of a home cooked meal without cooking at home.

Corned beef hash, eggs over easy, brown rice

Don't let the bar-like atmosphere fool you...this place is a for-real local awesome breakfast place. First time here, I had the adobo fried rice, and it was delicious! Sometimes I get a bubble from other places, and you can't taste the vinegar... Here the vinegar is the star of the adobo without being too overwhelming. My friends had the SOS and they swore by the delicious gravy and the meat. They're all veterans, so you know they truly appreciate a good SOS. This time I had corn beef hash with eggs and rice, the hash was fried up perfectly, crispy crust, outside, good balance of meat and potatoes on the inside. Popped the over easy egg yolk after the corn beef hash, and it was perfection! I'll definitely be back when I can !

Came here twice in the last week or two because it was one of the places that could accommodate our party size without any reservations. Both times we were a party of 15 and 12, respectively. The first time, it seemed as if our server was the only person working. Along with our party, she also had 3 other tables and you could tell that she was the only one on because of how fast she was moving. But I give her credit, she did well with our party along with the other tables. Our drinks and food came out in a timely manner. She kept our drinks full as well. On to the food. I ordered the ox tail soup. I thought it was pretty good but there were lots of Chinese cabbage in it. However, there were a good amount of meat which was also tender. My Daughter had the saimin but nothing special about it. I felt like the noodles were overdone but she's a kid so she doesn't know any better. My Cousin had the lau lau and although it was tender, it was lacking on taste. The second time we went, we got there before closing but service was still good. We didn't feel like they were rushing us out. I ended up having the same thing because nothing else sounded appetizing to me. My Husband had the loco moco. I tried it but it was okay. Nothing special about it neither. It is a restaurant/bar so the other half of the restaurant is kind or loud.

Gotta have the extra fish cake!

Good local food was delicious, wait staff are very friendly ! Our last waitress had only been there for a couple of days and yet she got our order to us perfectly! It's quaint bug time for a make over in the dining room it's looking dated.

We did happy hour here the day before NYE so thankfully the place was relatively empty the whole night. Got a whole bunch of dishes off their pupu menu and a bunch of drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Food was pretty good with the garlic Frings (fries and onion rings) and the won ton being our faves.

The kitchen was absolutely swamped, but Aunty Ida and the crew didn't miss a beat. No go‑backs, no complaints--just plate after plate coming out hot and on point. * Fish and Chips: The breading was different in the best way--chewy, crisp, and clinging to juicy, perfectly cooked fish. I…read moreremember absolutely nothing about the food and remember it being a tight space for the size of the party. They somehow made it work and even had a small space for a dance floor. On my last visit, there was a lunch party going on and the space they were in was a bit odd. They had several long tables set up in what is normally the lobby/waiting area, right next to the restrooms. There was also another party going on the smaller party room behind the reception desk. I guess they just know how to make things work and try to configure seating the best they can! My latest two visits were pretty memorable with regards to the food. Both times were with tables for over 10 people and I must say, I'm surprised that both times, I was pleasantly surprised at the speed we received our food. I ordered the Bi Bim Bap and a plantation iced tea on my first recent visit, and Chirashi set with a Moscow mule on my second recent visit. The Bi Bim Bap was pretty good, and the plantation iced tea wasn't overly sweet like many can be because of the pineapple juice. The real winner was the Chirashi set. It had a lot going on and contained ingredients I don't usually get with other Chirashi bowls. It had unagi for one, and another surprise was a tiny portion of uni. We splurged on dessert on my latest visit with Brown Butter Cake, Creme Brulé, and Chocolate Molten Cake. Both came with a side scoop of vanilla ice cream. All were very good and little on the pricey side. The Brown Butter Cake and Chocolate Molten Cake were $17 each. Were they worth $17 each? I guess considering it's not every day I buy a $17 dessert, sure, it was worth it. My favorite of the three? The Brown Butter Cake! I'm looking forward to dining at Waikele Country Club Restaurant again and recommend it if you're looking for a local meal that's a little more upscale than the norm.

I've only gone bowling there a handful of times, but I've gone for the food more times than I can count. Most of the time, we order takeout and eat at home. It's nice inside, but it can get crowded, so takeout is usually our go-to. My boyfriend got the tasty chicken and kalbi mixed plate, and I got the tasty chicken and furikake ahi. If you go there, you have to try the tasty chicken. The portions are huge! At first, I wondered why they didn't fully close my plate, but it was packed so full that it could barely close! The portions overall are massive. Two mixed plates and a side of garlic fries turned into dinner plus two extra meals. The tossed salad was good, and even as someone who's picky about mac salad, I thought theirs was really good. The garlic fries were also crisp to perfection. I'm also obsessed with their strawberry and lemon crunch cakes. They're soft with the perfect amount of toffee crunch. I've brought them to work a few times, and they've always been a crowd favorite. This place is comfort food for us. Huge portions, consistently good food, and a spot that keeps us coming back!

Location: Kitchen Deja Vu is located inside the Blue Tropix Bar & Grill, which just so happens to be right across the Chili's from Pearlridge Center. Parking: Plenty! You can park anywhere in the Pearlridge Center parking lot Food: We ordered 5 items 1) pan fried pork cheese buns: 10/10 - pillowy soft bread expertly soaks up all the juices from the pork filling, perfectly pan fried bottom adds a bit of crunchy texture, pork filling was seasoned well and there was a decent amount of cheese inside as well (it was giving pizza flavor vibes), supposedly "spicy" but it wasn't too bad at all so this would be good even for those with a low spice tolerance 2) pulehu style short ribs: 10/10 - incredible smoked and grilled flavor, cooked and seasoned to perfection! They're not stingy either, nice portion size and a hearty amount of meat on each short rib too 3) big shrimp potstickers: 11/10 - succulent pork & shrimp filling filled to the brim of wrapper! Very on brand because these buggahs was massive and sooo tasty! Classic potsticker taste and there's a whole shrimp in there too, paired with their shoyu vinegar (I think) sauce and wooo this one was winnnahz ‍ 4) charsui udon: 10/10 - nice & chewy udon noodles and absolutely loaded with charsui and veggies that were so wonderfully stir fried allowing them to soften just a little but remain crispy, adding another layer of texture to the dish and ensuring you get a nice little crunch in every bite! 5) kau yuk (caramelized pork belly): 10/10 - big chunks of sweet & savory pork belly, but not as sweet as the name would have you think. It's actually perfectly balanced, you can definitely taste some authentic asian spices going on in there, and the meat was nice and tender Service: 11/10 We ordered take out but you can absolutely dine in if you wanted to, plenty of booths and/or tables to choose from. Since we were technically "working", that had to wait for another time. Our server, Erin, was so nice and apologetic, even tho it wasn't her fault. For obvious reasons it was fairly slow, for a normal Sunday lunch crowd. Since we were pressed for time, we ended up just ordering a couple of appetizers; the sausage bites and chicken. They were both tempura style battered, and served with sauce or mustard on the side. The sausage had a slight spice to it, which was nice, and it was served piping hot pot of the fryer. A fork would've been nice, but they were small enough to eat by hand, but be careful, because they're pretty tough to bite thru. The chicken bites were smaller and easier to handle, although they were a bit dry, so the ranch furikake dipping sauce helped. We were out within 20 minutes, so very fast, and I'm hoping the griddle gets repaired soon, so I can try their burgers.
