We bought a blind for $520 in July 2021. Two years later the cord frayed. Nancy said the company would replace the blind and the cost of installation at no charge. Come the day of installation and she changed her story. After some convoluted reasoning on her part as to why she now was changing her story, she finally relented and said she would pay for the reinstall. The reinstall person came and said he was too weak to get up on a tall ladder. So, now we will install it ourselves. We also found out the blind is from a company that offers poor quality products. The person who has knowledge of this industry said we paid way too high of a price for the quality of the blind we received. He said we'd be better off going with a high quality brand (like Hunter Douglas). The price would be comparable and the quality higher. read more

When it comes to great customer service, Nancy fulfills that aspect of her windows business. I had some no cord shade blinds put on my office french doors and she made sure from start to finish that I was happy with the results. When one of the plastic pieces that secures the blind in place at the bottom broke due to my son playing with it, I reached out to her to find out where to order replacement parts, and she took it upon herself to order them for me - now I have a backup supply to last me forever just in case my son happens to break one of the pieces again. We just bought our first home in October of 2013 in Denver. After receiving a card flyer in the mail, we called Nancy and were surprised she was the one who answered! She was always very professional and you could always count on her with any questions you had. We opted for some plantation shutters. We were happy to get rid of the old, discolored, nasty, bent up blinds that came with the house. This has easily been one of the best things we have done to our house so far. I had originally signed up through Home Depot and one of their shutter companies and they came out, measured, and provided a quote. They also said they had to do some special mounting called a Z frame or something like that, which goes outside the actual window frame and sticks out into the room quite a ways. The wait time was also like 6-8 weeks for them to make the order. I was not so sure about that, as all the other homes I saw that had plantation shutters had them flush against the window pane, plus I didn't want to wait that long. So after talking with Nancy, she agreed to meet me during my lunch break to do a quote, which ended up being considerably less expensive than the ones through Home Depot. She also said she could have them ready in just a few weeks! They are actually better quality than the ones sold through Home Depot's company. In fact, I believe there is a lifetime warranty or something insane like that. We are not worried about that, because we know these will last forever. Then her installer came out a few days later and measured and said he could place them flush inside the window pane without any problems. He said the other company was just being lazy and didn't want to do the extra work to make sure this got done right. He also helped me pick out the right color and louver size as I was headed in the wrong directions there. In addition, he added extra features I was never even told about by the other company...for no extra charge! He was able to make them so you can split the top and bottom separately and side to side as well, and open the entire shutters if you needed to. The installer then came out again a few weeks later with the shutters and installed them to perfection in a very short time! We have been very happy with the results. We live on a busy street, and the shutters make for much better noise reductions, they insulate the house better, and they let excellent light in when open and don't let any light in at all when closed.
