The Blind and Shutter Store is awesome. Pat Adams went above and beyond to make sure the sale of our house went through without a hickup. The buyers wanted a couple blinds replaced. Pat and the staff made great suggestions on the replacements due to the blinds being 11 years old and not manufactured by Honeywell any longer. The new blinds are very comparable and look great. Pat made sure the blinds were installed immediately so instead of waiting to schedule one of his techs to install, he drove the blinds over to our house himself and installed them for us to make sure the buyers were satisfied quickly. We also had another blind fixed and we couldn't figure out how to hang it back up. Pat worked with his techs to find a solution and came over to the house on another trip to make sure the blind was installed correctly and that the solution worked. We went to The Blind and Shutter Store when we realized it was finally time to replace all of our family room and kitchen blinds. Pat came to our home and measured each window opening with precision detail. He then helped us choose the perfect Hunter Douglas blinds for our situation. We ordered 8 blinds and they were delivered and installed within a couple of weeks. (The person who installed came in and completed the job extremely efficiently.) We have recently had other work done with our home, and it seems like there are always glitches. We experienced NONE of that. Excellent customer care and great quality! I ordered my window coverings when I bought a new house. The owner, Pat, helped me select the designs and colors that made sense in each room, and even helped me economize by suggesting alternatives from other vendors. The whole process was seamless, and the installation went perfectly. The installer contacted me to make arrangements, showed up on time, and did a great job, and was very personable. When I contacted Pat because one of the blinds became damaged, Pat responded right away, and got my blinds replaced very quickly. Excellent purchase! Excellent experience! Pat, the owner, was so easy to work with. He listened, offered his professional opinion, and ultimately delivered wonderful quality motorized blackout blinds for my skylights and plantation shutters for my bedroom (which match existing shutters from 13 years ago). It is not often you have an owner follow up AFTER the sale, but he did. Installation went just as smoothly . . . each of the installers had years of experience, so actual installation was quick and expertly done.
