Been there several times for warranty repair of cellular shades. They were courteous and did a great job everytime in a timely manner.

After seeing that The Blindery only had a 3 star rating, I read the reviews and thought that I needed to leave my own review. I've worked with The Blindery for most of my 30 years as a handyman. Although I can't speak for the portion that sells window covering, I can speak to the repair part of the business. I've found them to be quite reasonable when I've taken blinds in for restringing and repair. I find the 1 star ratings somewhat unbelievable, but if you need repair for blinds and shades, I personally haven't found anyone better. Period! read more

I've had nothing but great service here. Just recently I had a home visit to fix a broken clip, and although pricey, the technician arrived on time, explained the problem to me and fixed it right. Today, I called with another blind problem and he was able to give me the fix over the phone saving the service call. read more

I have them install Hunter Douglas Piroutte Shades in my Recording Studio, and then a few years later I had them install the same in our home living room. Today, I am going to have them come out and install eight more windows in our master bedroom and workout room. McCade came out to do an estimate on window treatments for my new house. First he shows up and says he doesn't have a mask with him. ALL workers everywhere in Denver are required to bring and wear their own masks when coming inside homes now! I would have turned him away but another worker at the house had an extra mask. He was then supposed to email me an estimate right away, as I told him I needed the work done asap. It has been 2 weeks and I've received nothing. When I call the office no one ever answers. Don't use this company, there are so many other good window treatment businesses in Denver! read more

WE did business with the Blindery some years back when Barbara was the owner and had a great experience. We needed three window blinds and one deck blind cleaned. We had a very difficult time getting an appointment set. Finally, McCade, the owner, came and looked at the blinds. We also needed to get a wooden valance replaced. He told us he could do the cleaning and valance replacement at the house. He arrived right on time, cleaned the four blinds and replaced one valance (he moved the one over the kitchen office, cut and replaced the missing one so that the 3 along the deck would match). He brought in a white one to replace that one. He also said he'd replace the damaged pulls on two bedroom blinds that Aspen Blind couldn't and wouldn't do right (they stopped returning our calls, so that's another story.) He came at 7 a.m., was done at 8:10 a.m., and had the audacity to say the bill was $300, and said that was $80 less than what he'd quoted. I was flabbergasted, but my husband wasn't home, so I didn't know if that was the quote. As it turns out, he NEVER gave us a quote. So he also lied. I should have paid with a credit card so I could argue about the payment, which I would have after I talked to my husband. Don't ever use this company, or Aspen Blind Repair. PERIOD! read more

I have needed help with 3Day Blinds, one repair and one small replacement part. The Blindery was the only place I found that would provide these for a reasonable price. If I could use zero stars that is what this company would get. So on 10.14.17 I travel 40 minutes to get to this place. I arrive 5 minutes before their displayed opening time of 0900. I wait 15 minutes and it is now 0910 and there is still no one here. I call twice to see if there is someone in the back or to see if their hours have changed. No one there and no message about different hours. So not knowing how long I would have to wait until someone arrives I leave in a VERY frustrated state! Oh yeh! The church lady would not have liked my language. If you are in the service business then please provide the service and be there when you say you are supposed to be there. If you want my business you will either come to me or fix the string on my two cellular blinds, the ones I had in my truck to be fixed, for FREE! There is NO EXCUSE! read more

They have been fixing my blinds for many years. Don't think I need to fix them often. Great job. Sometimes it takes 1 day to fix it. Last time I was waiting for 5 days. Lisa told me by phone before I come that September is the most busiest month so It will take a little longer time to fix it . it make sense to wait because they provide a high quality job.. They did a very poor job of cleaning a 2' faux wood blind that they charged $40 for. I will not go back.

The installer at this store is the most unprofessional jerk I have come across in a long time. First I pay for them to come to my home and fix a broken draw string and the installer puts in the incorrect draw string mechanism. The line breaks in 2 weeks time. I take it down to the shop and the same installer starts by saying he never worked on that blind and that there was "no way" he would have made that mistake. After some discussion he realized he had done the work . Instead of apologizing he say's something like "well I have done many installations and could not remember right away. " So 2 weeks goes by and the string breaks again I take it back to them and he get's all huffy saying "this is customer abuse" your are pulling the string the wrong way. I explained the blind was 6 years old and I would have guessed I would have gotten another six years of incorrect pulling or at least a year. Anyway if your looking for a side order of sh*t with your blinds go to this place. There was lady behind the counter who was listening to the whole thing so I ask her who's the owner and she said she was so at that point I figured the problem with this place goes further than just this one bogus installer. read more

A friend recommended this place to fix our blinds and I was amazed at the professionalism and great attitude of the employees. I dropped off three blinds that needed repair.
