I have 2 Bali blinds from Lowes that were not working properly. One had a cord problem and the other a 'gear' problem. Dan was able to restring the cord problem but wasn't able to fix the gear problem, saying Bali doesn't have that gear available. So, he suggested I contact Bali.. I did, and yes, they do not send out the gear for some reason, so they are sending me a brand new replacement blind because mine are less than 10 years old. Excellent value. I couldn't handle living in a fishbowl and Yelped blinds companies via the app. This was our first attempt at ordering blinds for a house so the task was daunting. Dan instantly responded and had an opening and came out the next business day to measure. The quote was a smidge higher, but only 4 weeks for delivery and installation!! Winner winner chicken dinner! We are so glad we didn't opt for the cheapest company and went with 5280 Blinds and Shades. Not only did he put up temporary paper blinds (btw nobody else even offered this), he changed into clean working shoes to work around while his coworker had on booties. Extremely fast, efficient, courteous, and respectful. I wish everyone we worked with was this great. Oh and a plus is our blinds look freakin' phenomenal. We have 8 Roman blinds that were in great shape except the strings to open and close were wearing out and not working well. I took it down and brought it to him and he had it repaired in less than two days. And he charged me less than the estament he gave me over the phone. Dan was very friendly and courteous on the phone and we were able to schedule an appointment in a decent timeframe, but had to reschedule once due to scheduling issues (traffic issues since his previous appointment was on the other side of town) on his part (not a big deal for me since I did not reside at the property and was coming from work). On the day he did reschedule he was actually early and agreed to inform me by phone that he was on his way so I could cross the highway from work and not wait around at the property. I was selling my old townhome which was a rental and my tenant had done some random damage to my blinds. I had 3 out of 5 blinds broken with random items and he just about fixed it all, except for one part he was not able to replace in one and he did not charge me for his work on that blind. I had vertical blinds with missing clips, some were not turning, one the whole turning mechanism was broken, valances were no longer clip securely in place....he was able to fix it all, except for one where the tenant damaged the clip/turning mechanism on the rail and had placed a wire there to keep it up (it would have required a whole new mechanical system on the rail. Overall very satisfied with the work completed and his friendly personality. The property was already sold when he came over and I hope the new owner (crossing my fingers no issues until closing) appreciates the work as much as I did since he won't have to purchase new blinds.
