Dan was able to schedule me in very quickly and made sure to come back and finish the job next day when he didn't have a part he needed. Dan is also very friendly and accepts just about any type of payment read more

Dan was amazing and super responsive. Had my blind fixed, back to me, and in fantastic working order in only a couple days. Highly recommend Dan the Blind Man. read more

Much to our surprise, Dan is not actually blind. Dan was quick to respond to our job request and was easy to work with on scheduling. We needed 7 window treatments of varying types and sizes installed and he and his dad did a fantastic job - so much better than what we had before! Very reasonably priced and great workmanship. I would certainly use him again and recommend him to anyone who has window treatment needs! read more

Great service! I left him a voicemail to get an estimate for fixing blinds. He returned my call quickly and was flexible with setting up an appointment time. He was punctual for our appointment and quickly fixed the blinds. He was polite, friendly and fixed the blinds quickly. He also had a clean pair of shoes to wear around the house instead of walking through in dirty snow covered shoes. I would definitely recommend him and use him for future needs! read more

We had repair 5 or 6 old Hunter Douglas blinds at our home with broken strings, messed up pull cords and other issues. Dan was professional, courteous, fair, very reasonably priced, and easy to get along with. I knew about what it would cost up front, he explained everything he was going to do, got to work, and just took care of everything. It was a great experience and we were left feeling like we had great service and excellent repairs. All our blinds are working great now. We will certainly have Dan back for any future needs. read more

I had to wait a little bit for an appointment because Dan is so busy, but it was worth it. He had great communication, did good work, and saved me a little money as well. I appreciate it. I give him five stars and definitely recommend him. Thank you. read more

Quick response time in scheduling with flexible appointment times and really enjoyed the in-home repair option. Repair was fast and Dan's communication throughout was courteous while correcting our issue. read more

Clear communication, flexiblity with drop off/pick up, most importantly-functioning blinds! Grateful for Dan.

My first time using Dan the Blind Man, and I will definitely be using him again and telling my neighbors about him! The homes where I live are all about 20 years old, and many of us have broken blind strings. I called Dan, and we set up for a few weeks out on April 25th, 2022. I hadn't heard from him, so I was crossing my fingers that he would be on time, and HE WAS!!! I quickly showed him all of the broken blinds (strings broken or missing, and blinds tipped sideways when lifted), and he got to work immediately. Within 1 hour after he arrived, he had restrung 4 blinds for me, at $50 apiece. He called me in and let me inspect them for how easy they would go up and down now, and stay level! Wow, I thought I would have to buy new blinds, but now they are as good as new! Dan was very professional, and about the nicest guy/worker I've ever had in my home! Very friendly, but got right to work. Never had a more pleasant experience with a worker in my home. Thanks Dan, I'll put your # in my address book for next time! And don't forget to restock your business cards so you can give them out! :) read more

Dan is great! Wore his mask, repaired our verticals in less than 30 minutes. We highly recommend!

I called Dan after seeing him on Yelp (and another company) for a rental property that needed 20+ vinyl blinds installed. Dan came out to measure and emailed me the quote with a time frame of 2-3 weeks for the ordered blinds (as there were many custom sizes.) The other co. didn't want to give me the quote until they "explained" why it was so much.... "a fancy, pleated blind" even though I asked for a basic white vinyl blind because they will most likely have to be replaced when the place is re-rented. I paid 70% of the order price up front, with a credit card, with balance due upon install. The blinds came in much faster than he expected. The blinds were appropriately placed in the openings and fit perfectly (no blinds were previously installed.) After install, I realized a kitchen window had not been included in the bid. There were so many windows to remember I'm surprised I didn't miss more. Dan said he had an extra blind that he could resize and install the next day, which was great since it needed to be ready in 2 days. I don't know if he has a catalog of products for other selections since I called for just needed basic white vinyl blinds. I would definitely call Dan the Blind Man again. read more

We had a bunch of blinds that were sagging and old, drooping down at our windows like the saddest of sad saps. Dan The Blindman came to the house and in one fell swoop fixed the lot. Perfectly. He is efficient, smart and reasonably priced. Recommended. read more

Dan did an excellent job fixing the broken pull cord on our living room blind. He arrived on time and spent extra time making sure the blind raised and lowered evenly. He even threw in some extra cleats to wind the cords around so they wouldn't tangle. read more

I called Dan to fix a very large accordion blind in my living room. He was very cordial and professional on the phone, giving me a quote after asking me a few questions. On the day of the appointment, he was early, and advised me so by text, which was perfect! He was expert in fixing this 10 year old blind, personable, and his quote was right on! He even helped me re position another blind that had been snapped into its fittings wrong. I will definitely use Dan again if I run into problems, and I do recommend him highly. read more

Dan was quick to respond. It was easy to take my broken shade to his house. He fixed it quickly, and it was easy to pick it up and pay by Venmo. I would highly recommend Dan for any broken shade or blind. read more

Excellent service, even better prices. After shopping around and getting different bids, we called Dan because of the reviews. He was indeed as good as the ratings. His bid was at least 50% lower than the others for exactly the same materials. He showed up on time and installed the shades and the blinds in record time - truly a professional job. Since then, we have recommended him to others, and everyone has had exactly the same experience. If you'd like perfect job and at a reasonable price, Dan is your man. We highly recommend him. read more

Dan fixed some cellular blinds for us. They were huge and the pull string broke. I thought I could fix, but it was too big a task. We decided to drop off them off to him. They were fixed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. They are working great. I will use him again for any broken blinds. Check this guy out! read more

July 7: asked for a quote via email, responded immediately that he was booked until the 24th but no quote; asked for quote July 9 with a picture, received quote July 10 and requested my address; I replied immediately but no response. "I worked in vacation rental management for 12 years in Breckenridge, Co and dealt with handymen/construction people almost every day. I never did get used to, or like "Breckenridge contractor time (always late, if they even show up). I have found that a lot of front range contractor time is not that much different. I was surprised that it took 3 weeks just to get an estimate form DantheBlindman, and was trying to scramble to find his phone number 10 minutes before his scheduled arrival to make sure he was coming. I didn't find it but Dan rang the doorbell at the exact scheduled time. My experience with recent remodeling was that most contractors would do what you told them to, but not offer any helpful suggestions. I have 3 windows on my 18 foot front wall that I need a very tall ladder just to open or close the blinds. I was actually prepared to pay up to $500 per window for new blinds and a remote system to operate them. Dan offered the suggestion of lengthening the cords, which I thought was brilliant. He said the shades were in good shape, and he would only charge me $100. Dan saved me lots of money with his common sense suggestion. I would give him 10 stars out of 5 for his professionalism, honesty and skill, and I highly recommend him for anything having to do with blinds. He was also very safety conscious, which I greatly appreciated." Roman B. read more

Dan did an AMAZING job with my blinds. I just moved into a new build house, so there were no blinds in any windows. Dan came to the house and walked me through what he would suggest for the windows and even left his sample book with the different colors and types of blinds so I could test out different styles. I ended up ordering blinds for 13 of my windows (all different sizes). Dan ordered and installed them in an extremely timely fashion and they look PERFECT! I would recommend Dan to everyone! read more

I called Dan on a Tuesday evening around 6. By 4pm the next day - my blinds were fixed. Dan followed up with me right away and was able to schedule me quickly and at my convenience. Not only was he prompt, he was early, which in my book is a good thing. He did very thorough work and I was thrilled he was able to restring my blinds. We thought we were going to have to buy all new blinds. He saved us a ton of money by fixing them up!! He provided an estimate over the phone and was true to that when I got my bill. I was thrilled with his customer service and quality of work. I will certainly be calling him again should need additional work done. Thanks Dan! read more

Dan the Blind Man was exceptional in repairing our two heavy "plantation" type blinds. From the initial contact by phone, Dan was friendly, courteous, professional, and up-front about the possible costs involved. Dan called before coming over that he was on his way, actually arrived a few minutes early, took off his street shoes and wore "inside" shoes (and changed shoes every time he went out to his truck for tools), gave a fair quote for the repair job, worked diligently while here, was very courteous in explaining his methods, and cleaned up after the work was done. The blinds now work as they are supposed to and my sons are happy they can close their blinds at night for privacy. A reputable company providing quality work at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. We highly recommend Dan the Blind Man! read more

I asked Dan to fix blinds in a Condominium I own, he said he was busy but when I offered him extra money he said he would come over at the end of the day on a Wednesday. He texted me asking if he could come over earlier and I said yes. He did come over and fix the gear on the blinds. I asked him if he would come over the next day and install new blinds for me in another Condominium. He agreed and then told me he would be there the next day after 2pm. The next day he texted me at 11:30 and asked me if he could come over I said fine, but when he came back I had to run back to work for a meeting. Then he texted saying the louvers on the blinds were to long and there would be an extra charge for that. After I negotiated with him to pay one price for everything he agreed only if I would pay in cash (Gee I wonder he wanted cash only?!?!) I agreed and told him I was going in to a meeting at work and to wait for me so I could pay him afterwards. He wanted cash upfront, He accused me of trying to rip him off and left. After my meeting he said he would come back, so I had to babysit him and watch while he did the install. He wasted my time and his for no reason at all. He didn't properly cut the bottoms of all the louvers so I had to. He does very average work at average prices and has no sense of professionalism or respect for anyones schedule, he never showed up at the time he said he would I would call some else next time read more

Excellent Service! He came over on time and installed my blinds in a very short time. They look great! I will use him again!

Could not be happier. Timely, professional, great price, the blinds work great.

I had Dan install blinds in 8 windows and vertical blinds on a patio door on a rental up in Denver. Dan communicated very well on his schedule, he was right on time for his scheduled install. He was in and out in less than 2 hours, worked around everything in the house and did an excellent job. His pricing was less than any other quote and he was great to work with. Definitely recommend Dan for any installation or repair job read more

WOW!!! Talk about professional, personable and affordable!!!!!! I always appreciate it when you receive a phone call to let you know when an appt. is running late. Dan called to let me know he would be about 15 minutes late because of traffic but is ended up being only 5. We will definitely use him again and you will be very happy with his work! read more

Dan the Blind Man is great. He repaired three cellular shades at my condo recently and he's reliable, communicated what alternatives I had and did top quality work. The wide shade in the living room is especially tricky to re-cord, but Dan did so professionally and with care. He even made a subsequent trip at no charge to check on one shade that I'd operated incorrectly but worked fine. I'm going to call Dan to install cornices above the shades when I buy them. You won't go wrong with him! read more

Had Dan come over yesterday to repair a broken top-down bottom-up shade in our bedroom. Would definitely use him again if we have the need. read more
